We actually do know what’s going on behind closed doors in this case because her so-called family has been gladly talking about it for years anytime anyone has a penny to throw at them. Thomas Markle has continued to do interview after interview trashing Meghan and her husband for years - all before Meghan ever said anything about him publicly. He even admitted that he’ll keep going to the press every 30 days as a way to intimidate and blackmail her into speaking with him. What kind of father does that? Then he’s with his son, Junior, who currently does racist videos in blackface to mock her….calls her all kinds of vile names like a cu*t…. and said he wouldn’t blame her ex-husband for having her killed. Then Samantha has been the biggest troll of Meghan since day 1. She continues to perpetuate rumors that Meghan didn’t birth her children, wrote a book about her, and is steadfast with that frivolous lawsuit against her that even the judge can’t comprehend. And yet the dad is still sitting next to those 2 disgusting scammers, fake crying about what he could’ve possibly done wrong and playing the victim. He even said in an interview that he hopes he’s able to offer testimony against Meghan in Samantha’s lawsuit. Yet do you all really believe he actually wants to “fix” things? 🙄 Don’t be daft. None of you would allow “family” like those 3 disgusting people back into your lives and especially not into your kids’ lives considering all they’ve done and continue to do.
I feel that for Megan to forgive firstly her Family must acknowledge that fact that they did her wrong - until that happens then no she should stand her ground firmly. I was abused by my Father and from the age of 16 I told my Mother- it was not until I was aged 50 years that she acknowledged this but did not believe me therefore threw me in the trash and standing beside her were two of my Brothers. My other Brothers took a stand beside me. Recently my Mother wants to move on with life - sadly this cannot happen until she acknowledges this had happened and she did not save me when I was a child. Saying sorry she let me down would have gone a long way to the road to recover some sort of Mother/Daughter relationship. Thomas Markle, ill or not ill, needs to own what he has done to his Daughter before any resolution can be made until he does this the Megan is firmly in her rights to turn away.
The problem is that they keep talking negatively to the press and it’s always the same issue. It’s all her fault and they take no responsibility whatsoever. I’m on her side because this side of her family is toxics and need to be avoided. Forgiveness has nothing to do with interaction. You can forgive someone but keep them at a distance. I agree with you. Meghan Markle was shaped by this family, who are certainly not innocent. The senior admitted to using cocaine while Meghan was growing up with him because of Hollywood pressure, the junior was arrested in 2018 for holding a gun to his girlfriend's head, Samantha had domestic violence issues. But all the Markles sit in interviews and are full of accusations and demands, Meghan is just their mirror in my opinion.
I feel incredibly sorry for Megan because her family are unbearable and absolutely deplorable in the way they behave towards her. If he was genuinely interested in having a relationship with his daughter he would never go to the media and give interviews about her. I think the point she was making by addressing her friend's abuse story is that to the world (that don't know the truth of the abuse) it would be wrong of her friend not to meet and attend her father's funeral and basically cut him out of her life. But she knows her dad knows and denise knows that there is more to the truth behind her friend taking that step of cutting her dad out of her life.. in her case it was abuse. In Meghan's case it may be something big too that we just don't know about hence the world should stop judging meghan and calling her all sorts just because she's not meeting her dad. He raised her for years in his own, he kept her safe, gave her somewhere to live, paid for a great education and helped start her very short career - she praised him constantly on her blog the Tig - up to a week before the wedding he was attending. Then Samantha has been the biggest troll of Meghan since day 1. I feel that for Megan to forgive firstly her Family must acknowledge that fact that they did her wrong - until that happens then no she should stand her ground firmly.
I was abused by my Father and from the age of 16 I told my Mother- it was not until I was aged 50 years that she acknowledged this but did not believe me therefore threw me in the trash and standing beside her were two of my Brothers. My other Brothers took a stand beside me. Recently my Mother wants to move on with life - sadly this cannot happen until she acknowledges this had happened and she did not save me when I was a child. Saying sorry she let me down would have gone a long way to the road to recover some sort of Mother/Daughter relationship.

I also read the papers in real time and knew of how she was reported on during the 7 years she lived here plus 3 years of travelling back and forth before moving here full time. Again more consistency in her character & conduct: She was generous to the public and to her local philanthropic initiatives. Always a bold feminist, always a champion for those less fortunate and always a down to earth, approachable member of her neighborhood. Not an ounce of pretentiousness or sense of entitlement. People saw her and experienced her first hand as an honourary Canadian, despite her clear & casual Californian persona. Probably why our 🇨🇦 First Lady Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau considers her such a dear friend despite their roles & responsibilities with The Monarchy because at present we remain a cornerstone of The Commonwealth.

Harry's father also wrote a disparaging book about his mother. People remember seem to forget about all the other royals and what they have said, and one of the so called "royal know alls" who is always bitching about Harry wrote a book about how awful her mother was to her.
If he was my father i wouldn't want to know him either, simply because he's behaved appallingly. All he had to do was be there for his daughter, but instead he decided to align himself with the press all in the name of money.
And she did the same by all the interviews she did or the things she said in her documentary or the way Harry wrote about all the family drama in his book. I always wondered about the fact that they would complain about the press all the time WHILE talking to said press. Also the things she said about her family were proven to be lies like her sister changing her name back to Markle after she startet dating Harry or putting herself through college. How disrepectful and unthankful can you be?
All she and her husband were doing for the last years was appalling by sharing private messages and conversations with the world like Harry talking about his brothers private parts in his book.
They made millions by thrashing both their familys on the world stage. So if said familys want to defend themselves they have every right to do so.

Everything else during those 3 years was the press talking about her with no input from her and no response from her no matter how negative and falsehoods the press was telling. After that it took another one year to hear from her. Guess what the relentless press was a non stop with more than 150 articles per day 99,99% negative. I really admire her just for surviving this and keeping going!

I agree with you. Meghan Markle was shaped by this family, who are certainly not innocent. The senior admitted to using cocaine while Meghan was growing up with him because of Hollywood pressure, the junior was arrested in 2018 for holding a gun to his girlfriend's head, Samantha had domestic violence issues. But all the Markles sit in interviews and are full of accusations and demands, Meghan is just their mirror in my opinion.

I think the point she was making by addressing her friend's abuse story is that to the world (that don't know the truth of the abuse) it would be wrong of her friend not to meet and attend her father's funeral and basically cut him out of her life. But she knows her dad knows and denise knows that there is more to the truth behind her friend taking that step of cutting her dad out of her life.. in her case it was abuse. In Meghan's case it may be something big too that we just don't know about hence the world should stop judging meghan and calling her all sorts just because she's not meeting her dad. There's more to the story than we've been told.

I am so glad you pointed out that Samantha had not seen her father in years, and it took their being paid to have this reunion, She was the one responsible for Thomas Sr. receiving pay for the staged photos by the paps. Harry and Meghan both offered to fly him over, give him security, and help him get ready to walk Meghan down the aisle , but he let Samantha talk him into this scheme, and then. according to Meghan, when the Queen mentioned that Meghan needed to do something about the situation, Thomas Sr. lied to Meghan saying he did not do that. Then he suffered a heart attack, over the stress (according to him) and he could bot show up to the wedding, When the Queen told Meghan to write him a letter about the situation he shared it with the news again for pay, He and Samantha have continued to trash both Meghan and Harry to the news for money. He said he would keep on speaking until Meghan spoke to him, Why would she speak to them? They appear to be jealous of Meghan's success and money, Meghan says she sent her father money regularly when she got the job with "Suits," but now she's had enough. Thomas Sr. and Thomas Jr, and Samantha appear to be to be jealous, and spiteful. They want to be in the limelight, and you are all so true, she could just make a big show of apologizing, but we do not know with what she has endured for years.

When it comes to family you have to at least try to forgive in order to move on and have some form of closure. If Thomas and the other Markels had behaved like family instead of greedy scroungers, they too might have been enjoying time with Archit and Lily, like the Ragland Family does. As a parent it is incumbent to protect your children from toxic people, environments and situations, especially when it comes in the form of "family and friends". I hope Thomas Markle Snr questions himself about his decisions to get in bed with the press against the daughter he claims to love so much. I use to luv loosewomen, but ever since Megan markel and Harry got together, it doesn't matter how many lies they get caught out in (and let's be honest they can't tell the truth) no matter how many dirty tricks they pull, you get a majority of the loosewomen who defend them, even when they know they are in the wrong. I stopped watching because even when you can prove them wrong you get the likes of Denise gaslighting the viewers with their take on things, you can't get a intelligent argument out of them because they think their right and shout people down, she is the main protagonist. I stopped watching, but every now and again i will have a look, if Denise is on or the topic is megan and Harry i won't watch too many rose tinted glasses and sycophants.

I usually turn it off when Denise speaks. Meghan has been caught lying many times, and Harry continues to throw unsubstantiated shade at this family. Denise, fine, you are a Meghan fan. But you continue to gaslight the viewers by suggesting we are wrong to dislike her for her lies.
I watched the interview with the family. I don’t think I’m a fan of them but I certainly enjoyed watching them defend themselves against Meghan’s lies. When the family showed proof that they all got together when they were younger, it’s just more evidence of Meghan lying. Markle Senior signed a deal with the press. That’s bad. But, Meghan has done far far worse (including openly saying she has ‘lost’ her father when she hasn’t).
