What Sundas was saying is right.....it's all about your personal experience. I'm from the UK and my neighbour is Hindu and we get on so well, but if I was to mention it to 1 of the older generations who may have had a hard time they would advise me to stay away. But because of my own experience we are very good neighbours and even my kids go around to play in their garden.

It's smart of Shahveer to want Hashir to be more independent. Such relationships where you invest way too much time more than necessary into bettering someone's life can turn unhealthy, I used to think there was an element of savior complex but maybe not.
The podcast was very refreshing since they have just come from Dubai. Hashir has so much love and respect for Shahveer, it's such a beautiful bond of brotherhood.

One of main reason why I love pak is shaveer. I mean as hasir said about perspective. We indians have 2x bad perception than yours .But , since I started watching you even my family our whole imagination is changed. I never knew that Pakistan's are one of most fun loving. Absolutely right. Our elders need to understand that india and Indians both are not suppose to be treated as bad people. They also have heart and they do have normal life as we do. Hey Shahveer, I'm from Canada, let me correct you on how you and Hashir are generalizing about people based on your personal experiences only. Everyone has their own experiences with people and so do I. Every place has bad and good quality people and the quality lies within the mindset. Yes, there are some Indians who do not like Pakistanis and there are some Indians who are respecting and do not keep hatred for Pakistanis. Personally, I have met both kinds. I have met some Indians who are my good friends and I have also met some Indians who do not like Pakistanis and kind of discriminate or create groupings in person. Some of them don't mingle much with me because I am a Pakistani and no matter how nicely we greet each other during the day, they don't let me sit with them and be part of their group and I have heard that from other close people as well. It clearly depends on the kind of mindset they hold and what region/city they are from India, some people have conservative thoughts. Also, recently I met an Indian guy in Toronto subway station whom I guided to subway line 2 and he was relieved as he was new to subway station and then he asked me where I am from and once I told him I am from Pakistan he made a face at me instead of thanking me for helping him so yeah some Indians hold negative mindset and hatred towards us, but I never generalize anyone based on some good or bad experiences. I have met both good and bad quality Indians, everyone has good and bad sides, it's just the kind of mindset they hold and it depends on what region or city they are from India.

I fully agree with shahveers point that politics is the driving force behind this continued hate between the two countries.
Because, politics removed, I've always seen both countries talk good about each other's media(movies,dramas),celebs,neighbours etc. But politics reinforces past issues and problems and keeps creating an atmosphere of animosity.
I truely feel we could get to a good place together if both countries tried to sort out political problems rather than pour oil over them.
