I love it when you two collaborate in plus or minus videos. Great chemistry. I usually find a few things I disagree with y'all about but found myself just nodding along during this one. But, I found it funny when Thomas picked the Root Beer after spending so much time talking about matching earlier in the video. 😂 On the best non-Rolex GMTs, I'd add the Zenith Type 20 for value, the Panerai Luminor GMT for readability, and (my personal favorite) the IWC Spitfire for just everyday wear.
Excellent discussion Gentlemen. Agree Salmon color dials are my worst color. Best Dive Watch: From my experience as a retired military member is Doxa Sub 300, 300T and Omega Seamaster 300 Diver/Planet Ocean.
These would have been my answers as well. Currently enjoying a 16570 with drilled case and solid end links. To me, it is an everyday hero, and an exit watch. The 34 OP is on no one's radar, and having owned one for my 7 inch wrist (the green dial shown in fact), it felt and looked really good. I regret selling it.
I really liked this vid. Excellent questions and superb answers! Didn’t agree with all the answers, but appreciate the explanation if each one. Great vid for sunday watch day dreaming.
The best diver for divers is probably going to be a Scubapro or something like that. For me using it in the pool, at the beach, or for casual wear but not really diving, the 3 I dream of are the 6538 Big Crown, the Seamaster 300 big triangle military sword hands, and the no-date norad from Blancpain. Those 3 from the Golden Age of sportswatches are up there, unrivalled.
For me a "non conventional" multi function GMT will be my 2006 Omega Seamaster Aquaterra GMT, ref. 231.13.44.52.04.001. Its is a 150 meter water resistant Chronograph, GMT function with a date window. It is a big watch but I have a big wrist to pull it off. What else you need from a everyday sport watch.
I've never even tried on a platinum watch, but I'm sure I'd like it. As for yellow gold, the only two watches I've ever really wanted are the original King Midas and the Piaget Polo 7131, although if I found a 7131 in white gold I'd prefer it to yg.
I like this segment, but everything out of Balazs’ mouth is slightly off putting. He’s snobby, and has bad taste. His opinions and knowledge add nothing. Perhaps it’s time to rotate the pair reviewing it. At least, rotate out Balazs. Every time I tune in, I end up turning it off pretty quickly…and it’s always bc of him.
Salmon dials are beautiful and sophisticated. You cannot relate to a room or a car painted with that color. For someone who wears a Benrus…… Well, with all due respect, every new Chrono 24 video is like every new Hodinkee video: a deception!!!
Mr Magoo does not like salmon dials, Mr Magoo does not like rose gold. Mr Magoo has a Benrus on his wrist and thinks is the best next thing! With all due respect every Chrono 24 new video is like every new hodinkee video: a deception!
Really not a good look when cowards insult a physical condition of another person just because you can hide behind a keyboard. Do you do this in the real world. Probably not because you might get popped in the face . Be civil in your comments
@@scottsolomon8537 you are absolutely right and I regret it. However wearing glasses is not a problematic physical condition. I’m not a coward and your insult tells a lot. As for the salmon dial or Tiffany blue rant is just a detail you don’t need to get so sharp on it diminish people’s taste. 🥂

In my opinion the two line 14060M is incredibly underrated, its the perfect Submariner in my eyes. Or the Turn-O-Graph!
Agreed. Though I have the 4 liner 14060M which people have told me is more rare than the 2liner. I bought it new back in 2011.

Wow, this series is soo educational for me! Fun cool watches come up so much! Thank you you two!

Gold all the way! Just got the moonshine gold speedy green dial. It’s fantastic! Omega makes such a classy yellow gold. Not that gaudy.
Great watch 👌
These videos are getting better and better, questions are great.
Best format on this channel! We need more!!!
Great episode. Thomas's watch goes very well with the army shirt. And yes, I love heavy watches, too. And root beer bezels.
these videos need to be weekly and two hours long.
Most underrated:
How about the 1630 and 1530? Automatic movement in an Oysterquartz case…
It’s awesome some of these watches are underrated and that allows watch lovers to buy them at a reasonable price. Thank you for the video.
This guy, you are salmon coloured 😂😂
Thanks for the video guys
I’m deff over the salmon dial. Hilarious points on that one 😆

Both are amazing watches. The effect just wouldn’t feel the same in a non-precious metal.
You have changed my mind on the 34mm wstch,look3d greag on that arm,as long as the srm was a standard arm and not double skinny .
They’re definitely more versatile than many give them credit for
My 34mm 2006 OP Date blue sunburst dial agrees. It’s classic Rolex
love this segment ... more of these please 🙏🏻
If you like purple, try Rolex Perpetual “grape” dial?
best rolex is Yacht-master 40 Rhodium dial
Yeah the fellah is definitely "in the camp...." yeah very obvious .
Best watch show of TH-cam, keep up the great work. Totally agree with the Tiffany(ish) dials, they should be banned 😂
🤗 Thomas killing it!
Thanks Charlie!
The Bell&Ross gmt is actually really ugly mishmash of Panerai Rolex and some flieger.
Doxa 600 looks better than 300. Too bad is manufactured mostly in China
I dive with my Rolex sub all the time lol
Salmon dials are Sofishticated
😂😂😂
"navy seals!"

@@anamisidro8453 You should have left it after your first sentence - no need to double-down
Jesus christ. That was dull. I think it's designed for the American market. These men have had a total charisma bye-pass.
