I remember that series, all of Canada shut down during those games. They showed grit, hard work, and a fairy tale ending. Thank you members of Team Canada

watched Hockey Night IN Canada every Saturday night growing up in Michigan, and recognized every player, what a great group of players. In 3 years hope most are still alive and healthy to attend 50 year anniversary

The 72 series made Valery Kharlamov a household name. The speed and skill he demonstrated was really an eye opener for NHL scouts.

Thank you Bobby Clarke. I was there in Montreal, and I knew you would come back. Because you were out of shape and very tight. Anywhere you went in TO the game was on. From the schools to the buses to the person walking on the street. Whereever you went the game was on. We love our hockey and we love you guys Thank you.

Remember the series well. Even though I was only 7 at the time. Hated Clarke and Esposito as a Leafs fan but sure was glad they were on Canada's team. I've been an Espo fan ever since.

There should have been a small group within the organizers from Canada.. that had the courage to call that team what it really was, "Team NHL" --- NOT 'team canada'. .... No excuse for not have Robert Marvin HULL on that team, for example.
