The reason why men in black was such a success was due to its incredible writing, comedic timing and actual character development that built with each movie, raising the stakes and adding so much more emotion/connectivity between the characters aswell as the MIB universe. The studio decided to never cheapen the franchise by making a wannabe avengers film meets doctor who with an MIB logo. You understand? It never happened, you're experiencing the Mandela effect, it never happened.

Nahhh, it's good but not realistic. If the car was boosted like the first 2 then the weapons wouldn't work, there's also system failures that could happen that makes them drop or if the power in the vehicle goes out.

These guys are just straight up immune to everything except the full blown power of a star. I can understand how that could be interesting, but an insurmountably powerful villain is incredibly boring to me. You can't slow them down, and you can't beat them unless you have the Ultimate Big Gun. An unstopable villain isn't much of a villain to me, it feels like more of a force of nature such as a tsunami or a tornado. You clearly have nowhere near the amount of power to stop them, so you just run like crazy, which makes for a pretty disatisfying movie.
No people would have cared more if they just didn't bother with the movie. It was already a huge surprise that the third one was as popular as it was and that's where the Siri should have stopped.
If I remember correctly, they didn't want to come back. They both mutually agreed their character's stories had come to an end and a sequel wasn't needed.

This film has neither the quirks or flair of Barry Sonnenfeld or Taika Waititi.

Both actors must have been hospitalized after the recordings with a bad hernia, from carrying this entire movie, all those scenes.... 2 decent actors with a nice chemistry +No story + Overdose on Special effects and CGI DONT make a good movie. A good example of 'overdigested PULP' that people still swallow as 'entertainment'. The fact that the 'ruling elite' comes with this inspirationless bullcrap is a good example how desperate they are in trying to keep the main-populace occupied and distracted. Compare it to the Roman Empire, where the people of Rome are close to revolting, so the politicians come up with clowns and court-jesters in the Arena's to keep the people distracted...

It's hard to believe she was written out of the 2nd film because of her bad behavior, which is kind of strange since we don't have any information about how she behaved onset (Will Smith simply said she was a pain to work with so make of that what you will.) Still saddened as to happened with her tho.

One of the things I loved about the MiB movies is the staple about Aliens being hidden on Earth and most are just covertly contributing to Earth somehow or just staying awya from the public. It felt lik the Aliens were part of the public but hidden. This movie never gave me those same feels. Also the CGI for aliens somehow looked or felt better in the previous 3 movies than this. Just cartoonish somehow
The cameo for will smith and tommy lee jones is done so badly like you wouldn’t even know it was it the movie unless you were looking for it. A better cameo couldn’t been the agents at the beginning being J and K, with J doing a wink when he sees young Valkyrie
I like the concept for the aliens but they definitely feel like something out of a superhero movie rather than the MIB franchise. The whole premise of the original MIB movie was that they are essentially cops working a beat. Even though there's some crazy sci-fi stuff, its all treated as mundane. It's supposed to be "just another day on the job" for them. And this is something I think even MIB 3 got wrong. The MIB concept isn't about saving the world or having big conspiracies. It's not supposed to be fate of the world stuff or anything on that scale. What makes the story is that it's a buddy cop film about two cops who work in New York, who just happen to handle aliens. But the aliens are also everyday New Yorkers. They are essentially immigrants who are trying to live normal lives. And when they step out of line that's when the MIB gets involved. The humor comes from the fact that you have all this alien and sci-fi stuff, but ultimately it's still a mundane cop story that focuses on the characters. The aliens shouldn't be demigods. The stakes shouldn't be the fate of the whole world.
The guns are all basically the same, and sound like generic sci-fi lasers. In the original movie, the guns were memorable, not just in their design but how they fired. The noisy cricket immediately comes to mind.

The Problem: We don't know anything about them, their people, or anything that would make them interesting or sympathetic. In short, they're terribly-written characters.
Men in black 1 will always be the best in my eyes... I remember going to see it in the cinema.. I was 9... edgar was so terrifying, as his skin was rotting in every scene due to the body decaying as it was dead... it was amazing... every men in black movie that came out afterwards seemed so dulled down and nowhere near as intense as the first... and hate to say it.. I didn't bother with this movie.. when I heard will and Tommy Lee Jones weren't in this.. I didn't bother.. looking at this scene.. seems like I made the right choice 😌 😏 👌

Which to be fair would have made this movie better if that was the plot, K dies and J works with the new girl or Hemsworth after being reassigned, coping with the loss of his best friend and essentially adoptive father after the time travel shenanigans in an effort to honour Ks legacy, but to end his part in the franchise, maybe have him make a sacrificial play to kill whatever killed K or have him retire after MIB starts to change away from the company he and K once valued. many possible ideas, all would have been a little better than this movie as really it wasn't that great

The rest was garbage. All this film did was it proved that Hemsworth and Thompson can work together perfectly even when given a s*it scenario

Men in black 1 will always be the best in my eyes... I remember going to see it in the cinema.. I was 9... edgar was so terrifying, as his skin was rotting in every scene due to the body decaying as it was dead... it was amazing... every men in black movie that came out afterwards seemed so dulled down and nowhere near as intense as the first... and hate to say it.. I didn't bother with this movie.. when I heard will and Tommy Lee Jones weren't in this.. I didn't bother.. looking at this scene.. seems like I made the right choice 😌 😏 👌

@@allanmayorgacordonrafael4881 It's not a reboot, Agent O is still running the New York branch, most of this movie is focused in the London branch, Agent K and J are likely doing something else, or depending on how much in the future this is from the events of MIB 3, K might be retired or deceased, and J might either have also retired or be working with a different partner.
Which to be fair would have made this movie better if that was the plot, K dies and J works with the new girl or Hemsworth after being reassigned, coping with the loss of his best friend and essentially adoptive father after the time travel shenanigans in an effort to honour Ks legacy, but to end his part in the franchise, maybe have him make a sacrificial play to kill whatever killed K or have him retire after MIB starts to change away from the company he and K once valued. many possible ideas, all would have been a little better than this movie as really it wasn't that great
