My father who is a big fan of Mukesh listened to the song and told me the name of the original song is "Aaja re ab mera dil pukara", a duet between Mukesh and Lata. I am glad I found this song. My father really likes this version too even if he doesn't understand the language. Ciao.
@psychicist Yes, I agree with you the original song is a soundtrack to a 1953 movie made in India. In Tajikistan, this song "Manizha" is very famous, owing to the Indian friends, I guess. I am glad you enjoy the Tajik version of it though.
I recognise this song. It's probably originally sung by Mohammed Rafi, but I can't say what the name of the song is and from which movie it is. Maybe someone can help me with it? Being an Indian I love music from Iran, Tajikistan and Afghanistan, it sounds very familiar.
