I have had my tangle teaser for about 3 years and use it multiple times a day ( I have VERY knotty hair) and it is still in amazing condition. It might be expensive but it is a once off purchase and soooo worth the extra bucks.
Completely agree. It isn't even that much if you think about how much you will use it, how much time it will save you when brushing your hair without having to think that if you are brushing fast it will rip and tear through knots and it will last longer than your normal cheap bristled brushes, where the bristles come off after a year and sometimes a month.
About the beauty blender- I'm sure it's cheaper if you buy it without the Beauty Blender brand soap. I just use a regular bar of soap. And normal sponges last 2-3 uses but Beauty blenders are reusable and are meant to be used for like a year. With the right maintenance, you can use it for a loooooong time.
Shouldn't detangling of hair be done from the bottom up? I have waist length hair and I always brush/comb it from the bottom up to detangle. Totally can't stand it when others try to detangle from top to bottom. 😫

The quo makeup sponge that looks like the beauty blender and is purple with a slightly different shape actually works wonders just as well as the actual beauty blender, is not hard and only costs $5 give or take depending on where you live. Highly recommend if you don't want to spend 30$ + on a makeup sponge

The beauty blenders you are supposed to squeeze multiple times under running water without squeezing it wont retain enough water therefore it will drink the foundation
The dupes for makeup erasers do usually work just as well, the only issue is that the original makeup eraser can withstand over 100 machine washes and the fake ones usually never last even half that many.

yeah that hair bean made me cringe! Try the orange blender... blendtek? Cheaper than beauty blender and I'm told it's pretty much the same thing. I use that and I like it but I have yet to use an actual beauty blender so I can't comment on if it really is just as good or not.

Avalon+ yes but to show how well (or bad) the tangle teaser performs, it's best to go from the top down. It can really showcase how well it works

It's all preference really. It depends on the texture of the foundation. I find that I get more coverage when I just pump it on my sponge.
