I found a beautiful, clean wedding album at a flea market and paid twenty-five cents for it. Sent a fax (it was awhile ago) to a kocal radio station and the owners responded and I gave the son the album.
Mike! I sold my first Bible! My library had a used book sale a couple of weeks ago and I bought 4 Bibles for $.25 each because of your channel and suggestion and I sold one! Thanks a bunch for all you do for us newbies!
Great video as always, sorry you are hurting. Just fyi, you are the reason my wife and I are in the FBA book selling business for over a year now. Your step by step instructions were so helpful! Thank you. P.S. I still do not know where you find the time/energy to do all you do....LOL.
+100 Books are a great category for reselling. Although I do not have a "bin of books" honey hole, I find books every day at thrift stores in the 25 to 50 cent price range. Books with no ISBN (barcode) are my specialty. The typical book seller does not know vintage books, they rely on a phone scanner, scanning every bar code. So they miss the vintage stuff. I also will sell books in lots, vintage sci-fi, westerns and pulp fiction are scores. You have to have an inventory system so you can find the books when you sell them (books tend to be slow movers). Something as simple as boxes: box A, box B, etc. Put the location in your listings. Got to store them in a climate controlled area, particularly if you live in a humid area. Books pick up smells! No smoking too! A typical book can have 10X to 20X margin, the great finds can have over 100X margin. Sold one $1 book for $300. Those are the rare exceptions, but they are sweet! Super easy to pack, take up very little space. On repair manuals, any from the auto manufacturers can have value, $40 to $100. The Chilton/Haynes manuals tend to go for a lot less, $10 +/-. Bought a bag full of repair manuals, $1 for the bag, about 30 of them. I've gotten about $650 in sales from that bag.
fascinating those ice cubes... I dug into a few restaurants that use them and their menus on yelp don't have prices for drinks... Glad to know the hipsters are alive and well!
Thank you for another great video! I am hoping you might put together a video that talks about different classes of books. How to recognize 1st Edition; distinction between different types of paperbacks and hardcovers, and any other education and tips you might want to share. Best wishes! -Steven
Just started FBA, fees seem to be out of hand! What is your minimum priced book you will send in? And how many SKUs per FBA box do you average? Thanks so much for your content.
I average about 35 books a box going in to FBA. Since I get books essential at zero cost due to the other stuff I find in the bins paying for the bins. I will put a solid $1.50 profit book in. Amazon is strictly a volume based business and it is fee heavy. Much easier if you have a solid source for books etc.
I actually just started recording my video of me trying to sort through a bunch of old sci-fi books like 500 of them. It's been so overwhelming. They've just been sitting there for months. Trying to get through it all
Great video! It’s been slow on Ebay for me too - looks like they’ve been updating their interface quite a bit, so maybe that’s the cause. Btw, you should teach a college course on selling on ebay man, you keep it educational and interesting! I sell on ebay and also have a YT channel but in Spanish.
I would love either of the books or even Atomic Habits if you have one. Thanks. I enjoy your EBay videos and all the tips you give. I do have a question. I haven’t sold on EBay for a few years and I know EBay may hold my funds. My question is, I will charge the buyer shipping. Would EBay hold the cost of shipping I would receive from the buyer or would they release the shipping cost to me so I can use the buyers money to pay for shipping or would I have to pay out of my own pocket the shipping cost and then get reimbursed when they release my profits?
@@goldenstatepicker Thanks thats good info. Ive watched many bins people and they never get anything as good as you do. I might have to make a trip to the bins now.

Interesting finds and as informative as always. Keep it up and I'll watch as usual. A book would be great they sound good.
Haven't had Japanese ice yet! I've had a drink made with 30,000 year old glacial ice from The Glaciers of College Fjord, Alaska.
That’s better than the ice! Thanks for watching
