    Great advice! I've been struggling with algae on my anubias and decreasing lights/nutrients has helped a little. I hope to introduce some jungle val soon, which should absorb even more nutrients and shade the top of the tank. Your anubias looks great; love the bonsai tree idea!

    Anubias is pretty much the only plant I keep now due to it's hardiness and low maintenance. Love new growth! I think I get excited seeing a new leaf more than anything else. Wow that anubias bonsai is a dream! Thank you for sharing information =)

    Great video but it raises a question for me. Will the CO2 that I just added help it handle higher light and nutrients? I want to make the tree top look but it will sure get more light.
    Thanks!

    Hi , I have anubias in my aquarium with my goldfish because of the ugly leaves that I cut off the rhizomes that were left, will they still have leaves?

  • @ivoryringpis6712
    @ivoryringpis6712 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I love Coffefolia and nana petite but rhizomes always melt after a few days i get them. I end up loosing all. I superglue them or tie them. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have no problems with other plants like buce or dwarf bolbitas. Any tips/advise? I really really love coffeefolia.

      Did you only bury the roots? Try again but this time tie it to a stone or piece of Driftwood and don't bury the roots. I actually have a giant piece of anubias.
      I've got a 1 gallon tank but it's a pretty good-sized piece of anubias and it goes sideways but I just waited it down with a few stones and it grows beautifully.
      Also if you notice any leaves that don't look Healthy Trim them and they'll grow new Reeves their traits are plants most likely you either buried them too much or maybe not enough water changes.
      Do you have a filter on your tank? Also did you use too much fertilizer in your tank?.
      For example if it says you know give five drops give it two.
      Go out and try again and don't worry I promise it'll do great. I'd recommend even just getting a piece of Driftwood with anubias on it I've got a new vehicle or and all my tanks and they're doing quite fine. I surprisingly have a few other plants that aren't croaking yet they're doing fine. Don't worry I've been in the betta hobby for about nine months I killed several times I don't know why but some plants just don't do well old and check the temperature on your tank usually plants need a certain temperature.
      Good Luck

    • @xPorsum
      @xPorsum 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@meggrotte4760 no I left them floating but I think I was maybe not fertilizing enough. I have the ones that were dying in a bucket outside with some snails and a few other plants and they're doing a lot better... slowly putting out new growth.
