So many have been asking what computer I use, so here it is: amzn.to/2yQt3h9 Yes, I know it's expensive and I could have built it cheaper myself, but I don't have the time, and I bought for the future. This thing can easily be upgraded as time goes on. It's amazing and eats up 4K files. Computer Upgrade Kings has many options in many price ranges. I may just have to do a video on them!

Russ I have been a long time subscriber to your channel. However, much to my great misfortune I never clicked on the notification button and therefore missed out on just about everything. Your channel is, without question, the very best source of information on the net.
I have a Phantom 4 and a Mavic Platinum Pro. I cringe to think how much I could have been learning over the last two years if I had only clicked the notification button.
For the last week I have been looking over your channel. My God! Such a wealth of information and explained so very, very well. Everything I’ve wanted to know about has a video in your channel. 51 Drones is now my winter project. I’ve got a lot to learn and you sir are an outstanding teacher!
    Thank you,

Can't thank you enough. I've recently purchased Sony Vegas (a video editing app), however I find I'm spending more time teaching myself re: the app than I am uploading footage to TH-cam. You make things EZ2Learn. Kudos to 51 Drones on the tutorial and I hope to see more in the future. FlyBoy

I am an iPad user. One program that I have found that is quite powerful is Lumafusion. The app cost $20… One time fee, but is full of very good features. Much more advanced than iMovie, but not as complicated or is intimidating as some of the bigger software programs.

Its amazing to me how many drone videos there are about drones, camera settings, mods, flying tutorials ect,but theres NO videos on editing. I've been flying drones for years but just got into higher quality drones lately. I just bought a DJI Spark and it's very confusing how to edit it s footage. Then theres the go 4 app? I dont know. I'm 40 years old and hate computers but love drones so I have a problem lol. I need to learn how to edit. I'm not reading 4 encyclopedias that came w the spark to learn either. I dont know anyone who flies or edits. So now I'm here. Everyone just says it's not hard and I'll get it easy. This is why many people leave this hobby. Thanks for your videos.

4:48 Quick tip. As your projects get larger, you can add folders in your bin to organize the project and find your footage faster.
Also, at the beginning of creating your project file, select a folder on your work drive. I use those small Samsung SSD drives. They're fast. Also, move or copy the footage you want to work with on that drive as well. The advantage that kind of workflow, that it makes it easier to backup the project and clear the work disc when you're done: it's just one folder to move. And all the footage will stay linked correctly.
This applies to most editing software.
    ~Happy Editing!

Brand new to drones and drone flying, but even before I actually got mine (used Mavic Pro, because a friend got the 2) I'd watched most of your videos. Now that I've had it for a few weeks I keep coming back to rewatch and actually follow along. I love that you're still doing videos for the Pro, even though many others have done like my friend and moved up to the 2. I would love to see more on video editing, as its still very foreign to me but this is fine intro to the basics. One thing I would love to see more on is the sequences, such as how you made your custom sequence. Thank you for your videos!

    Mr. Russ,
I absolutely love your training tutorials and look for new ones daily.
One thing that I learned after I started editing my still photographs in Adobe Lightroom ($10.00 per month) is that my laptop monitor is way far off for correct color viewing (color balance). I now use a 27" monitor and import photos and videos into a desktop.
I have recently learned the video post processing can be done in Lightroom and I will be very happy to stay with Lightroom. (Don't know about adding music though)

As a complete beginner I'd like to see more about video editing please. It is a daunting prospect even for an old 35mm photographer.

Hello Russ, thank you very much for this beginners tutorial for Adobe Premiere. As a newbie to video editing, this video was beneficial and informative. I would appreciate seeing further videos like this one to expand my skills and knowledge in video editing. Yes, I am one of those drone pilots that have Gigs of footage sitting on hard drives just waiting for a break in my work schedule to learn Adobe Premiere and to start my video editing. Sorry for being last to this party but my work schedule has had me backed up for months. I truly appreciate your reviews, news updates and especially tutorial videos like this one, thank you for your time and efforts helping the drone community.

Hey Russ. Thanks for all your work and sharing your knowledge. This video made me go buy a computer to hopefully get my videos of better quality. Could we see a video on editing for the extreme novice guys like me. Lol! Thanks again.

This is great. Thank you for the ideas and the tutorial on how to put it together. I have a project in mind with my Mavic 2 but was way overcomplicating and overanalyzing things. This helped
