I love all of Evgeny’s new videos and music, especially “Truman Sleep”. No one plays piano as passionately and so intensely as this beautifully talented handsome man. I hope I get to see him on concert and meet him as soon as I can find out when he is touring as a solo musician. I admire his work ethic and all his talents, especially his writing and how heartfelt and honest his comments are. I wish him nothing but love, success and good health to pursue his dreams.🌹🌹
By the laws of Universe... this is like been reborn... when I am down, pick up my cell and phones and let Genchev play the piano... or listen cello played by my young daughter or by Luka Sulic or Yo Yo Ma or Hauser and a lot of amazing cellists but piano is only you Genchev.😊

I've been thinking about learning to play this one, is there a music sheet you can share? I can look for one, of course, but some of them are sh*tty arrangements and you may need to search more to find one that appeals to you. If you can share the sheet of this exact arrangement played in the video, I can rest assured it's a nice one.

Sounds cool. I would have added more tonal variety (modulations, harmonies) and a more subtle build up, I think it would have fit the narrative quite well. Also some kind of variation for the coda would have been very effective, probably.
I read your comment to Evgeny and his interpretation of this piece, as well as your suggestions. However, I think what makes an individual truly talented is having the ability to ‘make’ and play an arrangement their ‘own’. I’m 67 years old now and was trained as a classical pianist and organist since I was 5, and as such, feel that what I’m saying is from having the background and knowledge of music that I do. But to each his own 😊! I haven’t come across ANY of his performances that weren’t done with such feeling, heartfelt emotion, expression - and of course talent❗️

You recorded the piece on a Bechstein but filmed the video with a Steinway. I dont think Bechstein would like that 😂
