Bhai i purchased tiago xz+ in November, intial sound of engine is there when u switch on ignition, but after that its very silent, i have swift VXI 2016 as well, no difference. It seems old models of tiago has this problem, but now this has been fixed.

Weight of Tiago is 150 to 200 kg higher than other similar segment cars, so extra weight bhi manage karna hai aur fuel efficiency bhi deni hai to noise vibrations banti hai if engine is tuned for performance and silence mileage will drop

Bhai, mere paas bhi Tata Tiago hai July 2019 ki manufactured, or usme zyada vibration bhi nhi hai or pick up bhi achha hai par initial grunt toh hai ye maanta hoon par aapne jo 3 negatives bataye hai i am sure wo koi deal breaker nhi hai.. or Tata has improved the NVH levels with the recent variants khaas kar ki 2019 mein jo models launch hui hai or suspension bhi bohot pyara hai. Overall, iski price range mein isse behtar koi gaadi nhi lagi mujhe... Aap hilly area mein zyada chalate ho toh shayad aapka experience alag hai.. main highway pe zyada chalata hoon with full confidence !

Are NVH bahut Ganda hai yaar, mai apni tiago 44000km chala chuka hu, running zyada h meri. Aur jo halat engine ki awaz se lagne lagi hai ab, mje lagta nhi ye 80,000 km bhi kar payegi. Infact tata k service centre ke log to itne chutiye hai, "sorry for language used", but literally they are so damn rahul Gandhi's kind of people's, gaadi mei koi bhi dikkat bolo to unka ek hi response hota hai, "sir ye ek 3 cylinder car hai". I wont really be shocked agar mai bolu car ki light nahi JAL rhi to koi tata service station wala ye excuse bhi chipka de, "sir ye ek 3 cylinder car hai isliye iski lights kharab hogyi". Day by day mera trust is car par se khatam ho rha hai, mujhe youtub video's par review dekh kar gaadi nhi leni chahiye thi.
I have oct 24 BS VI ph 2 tiago, First 2 problems are still there, however gear box is ok in 2024 model . Lekin dono chijo ki mujhe 15 din me aadat padh gyi, i have new ertiga 24 also, ertiga bhut smooth hai enigine ,power sab bdhiua hai to use se compare krte hi mujhe yeh diffrence lge, waki iska steering bhut smooth hai gaadi makkhan ki tarah mudati hai.. build quality ,mileage safty sab mila kr delhe to vinration air engine refinement ko ignore kr skte hai
Bro, i have tiago XZA automatic version. I used hyundai i10 and suzuki swift as well.. As you said, i don't have any issues either with vibration or the noisy engine.. By the i drove it for 51000 till now. I think you should get your vehicle checked thoroughly by a different service center...

Bhai Meri Tiago Petrol 2019 model hai usme sirf ideling pe vibration aur noise hai....road pe to bilkul engine ka sound nahi aata....par ye baat bhi sahi hai ki overtaking ke samay gear down karna padta hai.....
I am a tiago owner and seriously all points well taken but still this is best. Cabin noise-try full damping. For gyer shifting problem try to change short gyer shifter which i did. Warranty gone costly but worth as i am using it from past 2 months with modifications.

Tata spoiled the game of Tiago by missing balancer shaft on Tiago petrol and diesel engines. Tata add on the balancer shaft on tigor engine and it is perfect and no vibrations or engine clatter is heard of. I had tigor in my stable and really it's great fun to drive, loaded with features it's amazing car. Now I am planning to sell my old indica car for upcoming altroz but I just want to wait and watch first because all the problems of altroz will take some time to get in smoothly way
Hi there Yes i totally agree with you.. But sorry bro i have Tiago since 2017 and still run smooth yes there is cabin noise but reduce by hood installation.. Power lag yes only with eco mode not on city mode.. Longest journey 700 approx from Mysore to Hyderabad.. No power lag in overtaking. Average approx 18-19kmpl ..And please if you talk about Negative thing please come with a solution so that PPL who already in trouble can have a solution through your video thanks for this video...
Noise ka agreed but bro about vibration pls visit service centre coz I have nexon and usme zero vibrations hai...... Dikhna to dur wo feel bhi nahi hota on gear, strearing or in foot paddles... So pls check karvao
Noise and vibration is a result of a 3 cylinder engine. Tata persisted with this because no 4 cylinder engine with equivalent power and size will give the 23.5kmpl mileage which the Tata 3 cylinder can give! So such complaints are a bit stupid. You have a choice to select alternative 4 cylinder smoother engines at lesser fuel efficiency or select a bit noisy but way more fuel efficient 3 cylinder Tiago. By the way I have personally consistently hit 30kmpl mileage with my "noisy" Tiago XZ on highways with a bit careful driving.
I am using this car since 3 yrs and I did not find any of these issues. Hundai car engines are the most silent but performance is 20-30% leser than Tiago.

Bhai it all depends on you and what you want.. if you want safety and good handling then Tata Tiago is best.. if you want smooth car with no noise then Hyundai i10 or santro.. and if you want good pickup and mileage then maruti Celerio, ignis and swift

You are right. I also owned tiago petrol since launching means before 3.5 years ago. Nvh levels needs to be improve surely. I got revers gear problem but they told they have used general motor type gear box which is little hard but long lasting as compared to other cars. Is it true or only avoiding the problem. Pls let me know.
If reverse gear problem is from very beginning then its ok.. and it becomes a problem over time then you should definately get it checked at some other place
To me Tata products are made to last longer. I had purchased Maruti car in 2004 while indica in 2000. The drive shaft of Maruti were changed after 72000km while that of indica are still intact and are perfectly in running condition. Head gasket of Maruti was changed due to leakage in rubber hoses while no such issue occured with indica. A little care is what Tata products demand and nothing else

Suspension bahot hi strong hai... 91000 complete hone k badd abhi front tyre hi change Kare...rear Tyre to abhi bhi chal rahe hai ... Abhi November mai Ahmedabad Se badrinath Tiago lekar gaya tha.... Milage 27.5 Total driven 3350 km. Hill per to koi problem nahi aaye... And return mi direct badrinath se Ahmedabad return 1600 km self drive... We proud to our Indian car TIAGO AND thanks to TATA....

Get your engine RPM checked. it may be due to low rpm, engine may not be able to take sufficient fule.

I am a tiago owner and seriously all points well taken but still this is best. Cabin noise-try full damping. For gyer shifting problem try to change short gyer shifter which i did. Warranty gone costly but worth as i am using it from past 2 months with modifications.

Tata spoiled the game of Tiago by missing balancer shaft on Tiago petrol and diesel engines. Tata add on the balancer shaft on tigor engine and it is perfect and no vibrations or engine clatter is heard of. I had tigor in my stable and really it's great fun to drive, loaded with features it's amazing car. Now I am planning to sell my old indica car for upcoming altroz but I just want to wait and watch first because all the problems of altroz will take some time to get in smoothly way

Hi there Yes i totally agree with you.. But sorry bro i have Tiago since 2017 and still run smooth yes there is cabin noise but reduce by hood installation.. Power lag yes only with eco mode not on city mode.. Longest journey 700 approx from Mysore to Hyderabad.. No power lag in overtaking. Average approx 18-19kmpl ..And please if you talk about Negative thing please come with a solution so that PPL who already in trouble can have a solution through your video thanks for this video...

I own Tata Tiago Petrol.. Evry point showing ur honesty.. U r absolutely rght it has vibration problem and power lack on second gear..
Noise ka agreed but bro about vibration pls visit service centre coz I have nexon and usme zero vibrations hai...... Dikhna to dur wo feel bhi nahi hota on gear, strearing or in foot paddles... So pls check karvao

Noise and vibration is a result of a 3 cylinder engine. Tata persisted with this because no 4 cylinder engine with equivalent power and size will give the 23.5kmpl mileage which the Tata 3 cylinder can give! So such complaints are a bit stupid. You have a choice to select alternative 4 cylinder smoother engines at lesser fuel efficiency or select a bit noisy but way more fuel efficient 3 cylinder Tiago. By the way I have personally consistently hit 30kmpl mileage with my "noisy" Tiago XZ on highways with a bit careful driving.
I totally agree with you sir.. but they should have used balancer shaft as they have used in Tigore.. tigore is much more refined and silent..

I am using this car since 3 yrs and I did not find any of these issues. Hundai car engines are the most silent but performance is 20-30% leser than Tiago.

Bhai it all depends on you and what you want.. if you want safety and good handling then Tata Tiago is best.. if you want smooth car with no noise then Hyundai i10 or santro.. and if you want good pickup and mileage then maruti Celerio, ignis and swift

You are right. I also owned tiago petrol since launching means before 3.5 years ago. Nvh levels needs to be improve surely. I got revers gear problem but they told they have used general motor type gear box which is little hard but long lasting as compared to other cars. Is it true or only avoiding the problem. Pls let me know.
If reverse gear problem is from very beginning then its ok.. and it becomes a problem over time then you should definately get it checked at some other place
To me Tata products are made to last longer. I had purchased Maruti car in 2004 while indica in 2000. The drive shaft of Maruti were changed after 72000km while that of indica are still intact and are perfectly in running condition. Head gasket of Maruti was changed due to leakage in rubber hoses while no such issue occured with indica. A little care is what Tata products demand and nothing else
