Great insight! Thank you for sharing! I am curious how you combine book notes with lecture notes? I had taken notes like this initially then under the lecture day rem I had created, I would bring in a portal for chapters/topics the prof. was covering that day and add the lecture notes to my books notes where it made sense. There were also times my professor would only cover some topics in a chapter so I struggled at times with whether to take lecture notes first or book notes for that section. But was curious how others combine lecture notes with book notes.

Happy to help! Good question, I actually graduated from university already so I didn't even think about this scenario before. I understand this dilemma though. That's a good strategy you have going on there I think!
If it was me, I would pick which would be the main hub for all the notes: is it the lecture notes or the book notes? so I would "embed" relevant rems only once. I probably wouldn't add anything on the lecture notes because taking notes during lecture is more time pressure so probably less organized. In "embedding" rems, I would use portals or copy rem reference, yes and probably take a look at the knowledge graph to see how far the ideas are connected. Hope this helped in some way!

since you mentioned how bad that futon is, i kept thinking about how uncomfortable you must've been. gotta appreciate the sacrifice for the aesthetic.
anyway, great video! it’s crazy-i was actually thinking about re-taking my high school physics using that same textbook + remnote. this definitely gave me some inspiration

same textbook? what?! that’s insane. I just googled some physics PDF and this came up. always happy to help!
