You are amazing! I am waiting for my new Pacifica 612V II which should come these days. I am so excited after I watched your video! Thank you for posting!
I have the original 612v!! It's great to see that out of all of the previous Pacifica models, they chose to bring this one back!!! Yamaha's are awesome!!
I don't know why but sometimes Yamaha gets underrated. I always played Yamaha and with pleasure. It is always Fender, Gibson, etc. It is all about the pickups and sound system which determine the sound. The rest is the esthetic of the guitar that boosts your imagination.
Hi Wayne! My new EP is almost finished, the mixing starts next week, and the EP will be released next month. Thanks a lot for your support, means a lot to me! ;)
+Jonas Tamas your playing is amazing, man! also very nice guitar. do you still use it? I have a Pacifica 611, which is very similar, but it has a P90 in the neck position instead of the two single coils.

I appreciate it, thanks for your kind words! No, I was just testing it, got this guitar from the dealer for a couple of days. I loved this guitar, one of the coolest instruments I've ever played, and believe me, it is a LOT of guitars that I've played:) Great, Pacifica 611 is also an awesome guitar, I wish you lots of happy playing time with it!
What did you do to your guitar to get those bendings? It looks like if you up 2 tones without any effort, I thought you set your guitar with 0.8 strings
The biggest bend is at 0:28, with one and a half step (minor third interval), and it's still pretty easy on the B string. (On the high E string it would require more strength). So the guitar had a standard set-up, it came right from the dealer, with a regular 0.9 set.
Yamaha guitars are awesome!! Why do you think Yamaha isn't as popular as Fender or Ibanez among guitar players? Let me know what you think and what is your favourite guitar brand!
Yamaha does not advertise their products properly.Number of their guitar models are limited and they are not available everywhere in the globe. But in case of quality control, yamaha guitars are top notch.I own a pacifica 012,and its an awesome guitar. The trem is perfectly usable and the guitar hardly goes out of tune.Yamaha and Cort guitars are underrated guitars, but both are bang for buck.
I totally agree with your words, it's a fantastic guitar, and all the other Yamahas I've played on are top quality as well. Maybe they are focusing on different geographical markets than ours with their marketing, but these guitars are underrated for sure. Cort is a good one as well.
@@JonasTamas both of you are right.yamaha and cort are focusing elsewhere(east asia) and they dont do a lot of marketing into the west but i want to add something more. guitar players are inspired by their idols and most of them played with fenders and gibsons back in the day.its hard to make a guitar player believe that a yamaha guitar can be as good as a fender especially when they see the prices.they think that ''how a 700 $ guitar can be as good as my 2-3000$ fender-gibson''.they automatically think that this is a cheap guitar(cheap=low quality).offcourse fender and gibson capitalize on that and they often offer overpriced guitars.a friend of mine wanted a strat like guitar and i told him buy the pacifica 612.it has it all,it doesnt need any upgrade and its a great guitar.whatever i told him he couldnt believe that a yamaha could be a great guitar.he is a fender-gibson fan(he doesnt have any of them but his heroes play with them so you understand). i see often guitar players buying fenders and especially gibsons for over 2000 euros guitars that have major issues but they dont mind, they are happy because of the logo on the headstock.they find out minor issues in other brands models that are way more affordable and they go nuts.i dont know, strange things.
Hello, yes I have the tabs, both in Guitar Pro or TablEdit formats. Contact me at Facebook (facebook.com/jonastamas), or you can also write an email to info -at- jonastamas --dot-- com. Thanks!
+Jonas Tamas Can you get close to fender strat-like tones out of it? Tough to tell with the gain profile you used on this recording (which was fantastic btw)
Thanks Brian! Yes, this guitar definitely has a great clean tone which is pretty similar to the vintage strat sound. In fact, I like the clean tones of it the most.
+Jonas Tamas Hate to bother you again. I'm about to order one of these form the UK...does the neck have a gloss finish like on the 611's? I can't tell form any of the pics online.

Steven Laity It is not a limited edition

+socialdef3 I agree!
Awesome playing mate.
Does the 600 series have the HH configuration?
I have my 100 series with HH. Planning to upgrade to 600 series
Thank you! As far as I know, the 600s have a HSS pickup configuration.
Gartulálok Tamás, ez nagyon jó!!!! ..a gitár is!
Szia Gábor, köszönöm szépen! További jó zenélést és rock üdvözlet!!
Great job. Are those the original pickups???
Thank you! Yes, the pickups are original.
Amazing guitar and awesome playing style, man!
+Vintage Boy Thanks very much! ;)
Why yamaha put these ssl-1 pickups instead of the ssl-2 with flat poles?
I don't know why but sometimes Yamaha gets underrated. I always played Yamaha and with pleasure. It is always Fender, Gibson, etc. It is all about the pickups and sound system which determine the sound. The rest is the esthetic of the guitar that boosts your imagination.
Totally agree!
Dead right
JONAS- looking forward to some new stuff!!

Hi Wayne, my new EP "Summer" has been released, and you can listen to the whole EP on my TH-cam channel.
I sure hope you will accept my congratulations five years later, lol!
Thanks very much - it is a very precious feedback, exactly due to the fact that you like a solo that I played five years ago. :))
hey man, awesome playing!!! how do you rate this guitar? thankss
Thanks! It's a very stable and versatile guitar, for lots of styles.
:( super underrated channel. You sir deserve so much more.
Thank you so much! I'm in the middle of the Four Seasons EP series, so it will be more and more fun :)
I agree, totally....great talent
May I ask gauge of strings? Pick? Great sound and playing!
Thanks a lot! Strings are standard .09s, and pick is a medium thickness Andy Timmons pick which I got from the man himself.
Good Job!
Thank you!
Sounds amazing.
+NuZ Annunziata Thanks!
WHAT SONG IS THISSS????
EPIC BROOO!!
Thanks!! It's a solo written specifically for this video. I'm glad you like it!

You made a legendary solo performance bro

Please brother please help me using instagram or TH-cam on topic that how to make awesome solos using pentatonics
In fact, I'm working on a new TH-cam instructional video series about soloing. In a couple of months you can watch them, be sure to check back! :)

Thanks brother thanks a lot
Does the offer also valid for Yamaha Pacifica 611?
What offer are you referring to?
The free guitar lesson from Yamaha.
Mmm nowt wrong with that..infact it really was rather good !!
Thank you Mike!
what a amps en efects use you? nice sound
+radosny22 thanks! I've used Guitar Rig 5 for this video, so the guitar jack went directly to the sound card, and the sound is made by the software.

I like pacificas but the nut wide ist too small for my xxxl hands.
What do you think about de this New pacifica ?
It's a great guitar for sure, with a lot of sound possibilities from blues/fusion to hard rock. Plays like butter.
Thanks 😉
