Thanks for watching Guys! Just to say guys, you can use the Kemper like any amp, so in the front I plug my usual pedalboard and it works fine! I even put my Strymons through the loop!
Rabea Massaad I love your playing in this, the rhythm work and lead. Really nice to hear you playing some 'standard' tuned stuff. Great to close your eyes and listen to
Bea, I have a question along these lines. If you have a switcher like say the Boss ES-8 or Gigrig G-2 and wanted to use the Kemper in conjunction with those; could they switch amp profiles along with pedals on a single switch?
Hi Bea!!! I was having a horrible day today and listening to you jam has inspired me to pick up my guitar to play. I can always count on you, chappers, and Lee to brighten up my day. Thank you for everything you guys do
Very nice demo Rabea! Lots of different sounds, models, etc. Also, you are a great player to boot! You did a LOT of playing along with your explanations. Some demos are just too "talky/explainy" for me, but you had a really nice balance between making a point and then demo-ing that point! Keep up the good work!
WOW B, I sold my 3 Bogners and all my pedals and my Axe FX and bought the Kemper Power Rack and Kemper Remote thanx to your clip. You nailed tones that I love and the Kemper did not let me down man. Best tones in 35 years of playing. Cheers, you are da man. Regards, Paul from Smokestack Studios Gembrook Australia.
Love the salt rock. I put mine in my vids also. Be careful though, don't stick it on an amp, the salt "melts/Bleeds?" down to the base with temperature humidity fluctuations.
Great work on this demo...thank you for that!!! I just got my Kemper, and 1 week in, I am getting out of the learning curve stage and beginning to build my profiles. I will profile my Jubilee 2553 Head and see what happens....that is the beauty of this Rig...
Superb playing Rabea, and excellent presentation. I have the head version and absolutely love mine. I too, am a sucker for the M. Britt profiles...... LOVE the Plexi that he's captured. Looking forward to more of your presentations, sir.
Just got an idea, have you ever tried to profile the sound of your voice or an other sound, may be a motorbike sound. How would this sound when played with the guitar.. endless possibilities!?
I dont think that's posible, when profiling, the kemper sends a signal through the amp and records the results. That's the only way I've seen it done at least
It would be very interesting if you talk a little bit about what you are practicing at the moment or in which guitar disciplines you try to improve your skills? Best regards, Phil from Lunatic Man's Dream (Germany based modern metal)
Thanks for this Rabea. I'm thinking of buying a Kemper and this really helps me get an idea what kinds of things I'd like to do with it. Very tasty playing. Loved the chord playing in the Dumble profile. Great stuff.
you will not regret it. I have been playing guitar for 35 years. I've been building fx pedals since 1984. I've been building tube amps for 15years... and since getting my Kemper 3 years ago and profiling my hand made amps, I have seriously NOT even turned on ANY of my tube amps... not even once ! And I also have sold off 10 fx pedals. LOLss.. I have 4 hand made tube amps, a Peavey 6505+, and about 30 fx pedals for sale... because of the kemper. It has paid for itself already. I decided to sell my Marshall JVM410 100watt head that I had completely customized within 10 minutes of owning the Kemper. Its sounded that amazing. That sale paid for the Kemper right there.
I love how every shred guitarist out there thats worth anything has that bb king return line on the top shape of your pentatonic. No matter what key in every solo you gotta do that bb king finish. :D love your videos man
I'm glad to see you enjoying the Kemper... more and more guitarist finally realised how useful and great a Kemper (or other modern "digital amps") could be, both in studio or on stage. Thanks for the video :)
Wow, Dude you sound amazing with both Strat and PRS!!! I'm not much of a strat guy but your 69 Marshall 50 G7 tones are amazeballs!! thanks for the vid.
I'm thinking of buying a kemper but I'm a tube addicted guitarist. I know that the kemper sounds is really good and accurate, but how it feels when playing? The major problem I always had with simulation is the huge loss of feeling of the warm tone of the tubes and the excess of fizz on the simulations. That kind of thing we can not have and idea on videos, just by actually playing on it. On video it sounds awesome, but I'm afraid to buy and regret later, lol.
Second this! Clearly the tone is no longer an issue with the kemper and axe FX but, since I can't try one out, I'm very hesitant to pull the trigger on one for this exact reason. Granted, much less hesitant knowing Rob and Bea both have one as well as others I respect but still............nagging worry about the issue. I'd actually take a slightly worse tone and better feel than the opposite. thats how important feel is to me
Stunning tones, very impressed by how far modeling amps have come in the last 10 years, but then think about other tech like graphics cards phones etc all part of higher and higher fidelity.
Actually, it does both. And both are fundamentally doing the same job when you send a signal into them, they perform mathematical algorithms on the 1's and 0's the guitar feed has been converted to. When and amp is profiled, a model of that amp is part of those algorithms the system is using, the actual difference is that a kemper still has the front end sampling and analysis component that allows you to program the algorithm from scratch.
Is there a video where you talk about your influences on the guitar? would be really interested in seeing that cause you have a really distinct style that I haven't heard before.
I kind of dig your funky sort of picking when you chug. I don't know how to explain, but both the movement of your hand and the sound you make are kind of funky, and it's really cool. :)
It's probably all the editing Rory has to do to catch-up from NAMM, I know he was really bogged down with AndertonsTV and editing some of the stuff on Rob's channel even before NAMM... Give him a bit of leeway, editing shoots like he does is extremely time consuming, believe me I've been on his end of it before...
Oh sorry, I figured it was Rory 'cause I know he does editing for Andertons and the editing was rather like his. Looking forward to who you have lined up, should be good!
BEA! Please please could you make a tutorial video on playing a lick like this (9:40)?!? I've tried and tried for so long but can't pull it off like that! Awesome playing as usual btw :-)
My next amp is a Kemper & Remote... And ive had ALL the nice valve marshalls and million pedals. And Rabea, you are a shit hot guitarist, completely fucking awesome.
First few times I saw you on Anderton's vids I thought you were just a metalhead. Nothing wrong with that at all... but damn bro you are just a great player all around. Always fun to watch you. Impressive. I just got a Kemper. Thanks for the vid. Cheers!
New room looks awesome man, kinda miss the old one still though ha. any plans on releasing the solo stuff you was working on? you played some of it on the baritone on the kraken demo for victory
man I usually can't stand clean tones ("not cool".. I'm aware).. but I have to say the clean on that last "matchless" profile caught my ear.. very sweet sound.. special.
The tune you played for the dumble? clean was lovely. How come there are 3 recording tracks in Logic? Is that stereo input from the amp, and an external microphone?
7 ปีที่แล้ว
Gwilym James my initial comment is now.invalid, as Rabea responded below ;-)
The inlays on that PRS are amazing. The Dumble and Matchless profiles were my favorite. I agree with you too, Rabea. Cleans are so much fun to play just because of the different dynamics you can get from them. But who doesn't love to throw down some Metal Up Your Ass gain from time to time, eh? lol
Awesome playing! This has made my mind up, I've been trying to decide between a Line 6 Helix and a kemper and after listening to this i'm getting a kemper. Looking forward to seeing the kemper remote video. :-)
Max Scardanelli Well, what's wrong with digital improving? I personally love that digital is finally on the same level as tube now (with things like the kemper and the axe fx).
Lol not really, top tier digital gear doesn't sound better than top tier analogue gear. Just look at Robs video about Kemper vs his Silverback, they couldnt tell the difference. (my OP atleast)
Great to close your eyes and listen to
Rabea Massaad Would you mind sharing you Victory profile? Sound wicked honestly
Bea, I have a question along these lines. If you have a switcher like say the Boss ES-8 or Gigrig G-2 and wanted to use the Kemper in conjunction with those; could they switch amp profiles along with pedals on a single switch?
The Boss, yes, has full midi out functionality. Not sure about the G2.
Which guitar cabs sound good with the Kemper and these profiles?
Bea, Your playing has really progressed on camera through the years. Keep hammering, chap. My favorite TH-cam guitarist.
Joshua Flynn thanks man! I hugely appreciate that. It's actually so much harder playing on camera than I ever imagined!
Bea, your playing with the Dumble tone was delightful!
Bea, can you please bring Dorje and Toska to the US on tour? Would be awesome to see you play live!
I'd like them to tour something else than just UK & Germany tbh... Most of Europe has not seen either
Seen Dorje towards end of last year really good live!
This, right here.
Nice playing man.
+The Tone King thanks dude! Hope
You're well :-)
You should make another Top 5 Kemper Profiles because I'm getting my Kemper next week and It would help out a lot mate! Keep up the great work!
>Loves cleans
>Slays on thw gain channel

Hi Bea!!! I was having a horrible day today and listening to you jam has inspired me to pick up my guitar to play. I can always count on you, chappers, and Lee to brighten up my day. Thank you for everything you guys do
Bea always looks like he has a live goldfish in his mouth when he's riffing lol.
Mouth articulation. I've seen that at many guitarist most of them write/play or improvise outstanding riffs and solos :D
Musical face make you play better, just like Gary Moore:-)
Yeah! And dynamite in his fingers!
You should see Buckethead’s face when he plays!
God I want your ambient sound/tone, it's incredible
WOW B, I sold my 3 Bogners and all my pedals and my Axe FX and bought the Kemper Power Rack and Kemper Remote thanx to your clip. You nailed tones that I love and the Kemper did not let me down man. Best tones
in 35 years of playing. Cheers, you are da man.
Regards, Paul from Smokestack Studios Gembrook Australia.
If guitar tone was a GTA game, a kemper would be the cheat codes
$2300 cheat codes hahaha
@@Dustinchugs Naaaah, mine cost 1250€ second hand. A steal of a price. Unbeatable
That clean solo was so awesome
Love the salt rock. I put mine in my vids also. Be careful though, don't stick it on an amp, the salt "melts/Bleeds?" down to the base with temperature humidity fluctuations.
Ive had a KPA since day 1. These are far and away the best I've heard. And excellent playing Rabea. That Vic was amazing.
Great work on this demo...thank you for that!!! I just got my Kemper, and 1 week in, I am getting out of the learning curve stage and beginning to build my profiles. I will profile my Jubilee 2553 Head and see what happens....that is the beauty of this Rig...
Thanks Bea, I'm really close to making the plunge on the Kemper and this has really helped.
We need an updated top 5!!!
Superb playing Rabea, and excellent presentation. I have the head version and absolutely love mine. I too, am a sucker for the M. Britt profiles...... LOVE the Plexi that he's captured. Looking forward to more of your presentations, sir.

I dont think that's posible, when profiling, the kemper sends a signal through the amp and records the results. That's the only way I've seen it done at least
Stick the kemper cable up your ass, it works. Let us know how it goes
Doesn't work like that. But people have tried weird things like putting a speaker in a toilet with, uh, interesting results.
Let me guess, they got shitty results.
What about squelchin' pussy sounds or dog farts??
Any chance of a Kracken profile for download?

The more videos I see, the more I want to try a Kemper. Love that Dumble clean! Beautiful playing too!
That clean bit with the Dumble is amazing man!
Beautiful shredding Bea. It's always a joy listening to you rip on some of threse amps
It would be very interesting if you talk a little bit about what you are practicing at the moment or in which guitar disciplines you try to improve your skills?
Best regards,
Phil from Lunatic Man's Dream (Germany based modern metal)
Thanks, Rabea. Great video. I really appreciate the excellent sound quality in general for the video.
Really tempted to get the kemper. I own a helix that is great in it's own right, a different unit I know but can I justify having both.
That Matchless tone was gorgeous.
Yeah I love the first strat riffing. That was pure riffing!!!
if you could have one... would you rather have Rabbeas skill or his hair?
Ramsey Hildebrand Skills! No question about that.
Ramsey Hildebrand i think everyone on this channel will chose the skills :-)
bollocks
I can get the skills if I practice for years
the hair, you got it or you don't
Pfft, what a redundant question, everyone knows they're intrinsically linked
Ramsey Hildebrand I'll take the skill because I don't a pretty enough face for that fro.
Your playing makes me want to go buy one. Something about that pushed clean tone. Chills...
Wow, makes you want to go out and buy one! Great Stuff, Rabea....! Cheers from Canada...
That Dumble preset is outrageous! Nice playing.
At first I was enjoying the mellowness but then my face was melted off. Awesome.....just awesome.
It doesn't hurt any that the Strat is one of the best sounding I've heard either! The PRS through the Kraken is diiiiiiiiiiiirty!
Wow! You are improving Rabea! Love the direction you are taking.
I still like my Soldano Slo 100 watt head..oh, and I like Rabea's playing.
Dude, your chordal knowledge is amazing! Very beautiful arpeggiated chords...
Sounds sick! How does it sound using pedals? Would love to see a video using the kemper with your pedal board.
Can you put the kraken on the rig exchange!
Tyler Schmidt +1
i made so many kraken profiles ... wanna check them out ? they are d.i. and i did my very best to cover all sounds
I think I would rather have a Kemper than the AX8 after watching the kemper vids Bea has been doing. very impressive.
Sounds great and there's always new ones to discover, one of the fun thing with the Kemper! :)
wow - real great tones, and as always a matching performance! Kudos!
Wow, Dude you sound amazing with both Strat and PRS!!! I'm not much of a strat guy but your 69 Marshall 50 G7 tones are amazeballs!! thanks for the vid.
I'm on the cusp of buying one, can't wait to see your video on the remote.
Man I could listen to you play for hours
Literally based on this video, I have just pulled the trigger and bought a Kemper.. Been on the fence for a while, but this was the deciding factor.
Caloss2 Channel Profiling and modeling are two completely different categories. Kemper is a profiler.
You DID profile the Kraken. And sounds really cool! Cranking that volume got me :O
Is there a video where you talk about your influences on the guitar? would be really interested in seeing that cause you have a really distinct style that I haven't heard before.
I'm looking at this and i might save up for one. This is crazy. My buddy Chris uses one and profiled the evh and it sounded killer.
I kind of dig your funky sort of picking when you chug. I don't know how to explain, but both the movement of your hand and the sound you make are kind of funky, and it's really cool. :)
Love your playing and your whole vibe man. Anderton's should put you on camera a lot more.
The profiles are nice and all, but that Strat just makes them shine!
Hey Bea! where the sound likes...?
Kovid Rupauliha they posted on Facebook the other day and said they'll be on the way soon
Yoseph McJoe Hey man, I edit the sound like videos. And we shot a load last week so they will resume as of next Wednesday :-)
Oh sorry, I figured it was Rory 'cause I know he does editing for Andertons and the editing was rather like his. Looking forward to who you have lined up, should be good!
great vid-love your playing, and presentation-your a great guy! keep making your videos!
Mate, those chords at 9:05 - 9:13. Nice!
I think I remember the video where you bought that Strat, it still sounds stellar! It's got the Blackmore tone in it.
The inlays on that PRS look great.
that matchless and dumble are killer for sure
BEA! Please please could you make a tutorial video on playing a lick like this (9:40)?!? I've tried and tried for so long but can't pull it off like that! Awesome playing as usual btw :-)
Such a great review, great sounds and really good playing fella, thanks
So very well played, great technique and feel 😊
Holy crap, Marshall Solo ++ sounds amazing!
Two very classy guitars and very tasty playing, liking the sound of this kemper.
That Kraken profile is badass!
Wonder if and or when they will have a profile for the John Mayer signature amp? Would love to see a video of that!! 😀
Tim Morrison check out tone junkie tv. They’ve made the Mayer signature, as well as the two rock Mayer prototype!
That Kraken Lead Sound!! Killer.
Hi, may I have your reverb's setting? It sounds really beautiful
wow! always loves this guy in the chappers vids.
great tones! amazing playing Rabea :)
Would love if you shared that Kraken profile you made ... sounded fantastic.
My next amp is a Kemper & Remote... And ive had ALL the nice valve marshalls and million pedals. And Rabea, you are a shit hot guitarist, completely fucking awesome.
Wow- great tones and awesome riffs; thanks for showing these
Holy crap dude!!! Amazing playing and VERY helpful Kemper info. Thanks!
Very talented musician! I like the way you bend intensely the strings.
Great to have the info on clean and breakup Strat friendly profiles. Are the Kraken profiles available anywhere please Bea?
First few times I saw you on Anderton's vids I thought you were just a metalhead. Nothing wrong with that at all... but damn bro you are just a great player all around. Always fun to watch you. Impressive. I just got a Kemper. Thanks for the vid. Cheers!
Would it be possible for you to share the Kraken Profile with us? Would be very nice! Marcel
Really enjoyed this, thanks..The new room works well too
New room looks awesome man, kinda miss the old one still though ha. any plans on releasing the solo stuff you was working on? you played some of it on the baritone on the kraken demo for victory

Gwilym James my initial comment is now.invalid, as Rabea responded below ;-)
Gwilym James hey man, it's 2 Kemper tracks and my speech mic
How are you running it? Stereo?
Most likely..., some effects as delay for example, have stereo settings so...
Would love to hear your take on the Profiler vs Helix purely on the basis of tonality.
Dude, you're such a great player damn
Rocking intro! I can tell that you're totally into it because your 'Rockstar guitar player mouth' was out of control !!!
The inlays on that PRS are amazing. The Dumble and Matchless profiles were my favorite. I agree with you too, Rabea. Cleans are so much fun to play just because of the different dynamics you can get from them. But who doesn't love to throw down some Metal Up Your Ass gain from time to time, eh? lol
Thanks for posting! I like your style of playing the Guitar an making those Videos!!! Go on 👍🏻
Awesome playing! This has made my mind up, I've been trying to decide between a Line 6 Helix and a kemper and after listening to this i'm getting a kemper. Looking forward to seeing the kemper remote video. :-)
Very tasteful playing man!
I NEED A KEMPER ASAP! :D Man these sounds are incredible! Part of it is the great playing for sure!
It kind of pisses me off that I think the Kemper sounds good.
How come?
Blake Mullens Because it's digital.
Max Scardanelli Well, what's wrong with digital improving? I personally love that digital is finally on the same level as tube now (with things like the kemper and the axe fx).
Blake Mullens Analogue always sounds better.
Lol not really, top tier digital gear doesn't sound better than top tier analogue gear. Just look at Robs video about Kemper vs his Silverback, they couldnt tell the difference. (my OP atleast)
Just watched you fooling Rob and Lee. Hilarious and totally amazing. This profiling is the shit.
Awesome man! My Kemper is on its way! Love your playing. Cheers!
