Farida Jalal on Karan Johar's shifting loyalty, bond with Yash Johar, DDLJ, rejecting Kal Ho Naa Ho

- Farida Jalal remembers Yash Johar & says- "Mujhe yaad hai ki mera phone uthakar woh bolte they, Dekho farida hero ka role baad main likha jata hai, tumhara role pehle. aise baat karte they woh." Farida shares that she met karan Johar for the first time during 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'. During DDLJ karan used to say that he going to make film. After that Karan met Farida & narrated 'Kuch Kuch hota hai'. Farida also says that DDLJ was made exactly as it was narrated. Farida also feels sad that DDLJ was Aditya Chopra's best film & 'ussey acchi film woh dobara nahi bana paaye.' Farida shares- "aisa he karan k liye 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' rahi, unki bestest. ek ek scene unhone khud likha. ab toh puri badi team hai.' Farida reveals why she was not part of Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Kal Ho Naa Ho'. She also revealed the original starcast planned for the movie. Check out the video to know more.

Karan Johar is a waste of human existence
Why she doesn't pin point the bad Hindi pronunciation in Hindi movies. Why only Urdu? The likes of Rashmika Mandanna , AR Rahman and Sri Devi don't/didn't speak Hindi correctly.

Probably because urdu is close to her being a Muslim woman. She wants to be represented correctly as a minority. It's true though that South actors butcher Hindi lol but it's an entirely different language to learn and that's hard. Whatever they have done is commendable effort. On the other hand, there's so much similarity between Hindi and urdu that a lot of times, actors don't properly learn urdu, which is fine because most people don't catch it, but people who are versed in the language catch it and feel cheated. But also, why would she talk about all the other South actors not speaking Hindi well, she's specifically talking about her experience with Hrithik Roshan.
We always enjoyed Bollywood real soul movies in Pakistan but sadly after Modi hate government movies are mostly on politics and hate topics on Pakistan. I'm sure Movies like DDLJG, Kuch Kuch HOTA hai, Dil to Pagal hai, and Mainay Pyar Kiya like movies can never be made again in this cheap hate Bollywood.
