Like u said, they is chameleon of rock. For the first era, they play heavy metal (hear edane in 90') then they change to alternatif rock with little metal in that (in 2000' and they get more attention with their song like 'kau pikir kau lah segalanya', rock in 82, cry out as sound track Spiderman 2) till now they being totally metal like this song and living dead in their last album called edan. For sure, they is expert on metal genre in Indonesia, no one doubt it. They is something. Love u found them.

If you want to understand the progress of the insane band from the very beginning to the very end it would be pointless to even attempt it. And also edane has passed the three musical ages.
