I have a Kobo and a Kindle. I mostly buy books for my Kobo now, but I've owned a Kindle for longer so I have A LOT of books on it. The reason I switched was because in my country (Finland), my library's Overdrive/Libby works with a Kobo - I can't borrow books on a Kindle. Also, Kindle Unlimited isn't available in my country, so that's not a bonus for me either. The biggest bonus in ereaders is definitely the screen that doesn't hurt your eyes and the ability to modify font type and size so easily! The ereader light isn't even a backlight, btw, it's a frontlight - meaning that the lights aren't behind the screen, but rather there are little lights along the side of the screen, which illuminate the screen from the front! That also makes it easier for the eyes. Oh, and I, too, love the new feature of having the cover of the book stay on the screen when it's off! I think it makes me so much more likely to pick the book back up and keep reading. Great video!
I think I might actually start reading on my Kindle again because I already have one but pretty much right after I bought it I got into a huge reading slump so I kinda didn‘t read much on it and I really like to read in the night

My kindle is my absolute favourite way of reading, I love the fact that I can also use my Bluetooth headphones and listen to an audiobook❤️
