I promised to comment this yesterday, so here goes. Roffle never got blur into rod of roasting because his luck was SO bad. He streamed for nearly 9 hours yesterday, and didn’t hit rod once. He played about 65 Yoggs (my estimate). The chance of not hitting rod in 65 Yoggs is .95^65, which is a 3.6% chance. Roffle was more likely to hit Rod on his first attempt than he was to not hit it in all 9 hours of streaming. Love the content Roffle!

@@theenduriangamer5509 its the story of my life lol my deck. 2/3 of my deck cost 5 or lower most games I draw 6 or 7 card that cost 5 or more before I get cheap stuff. Rng fucks me on the daily.
And he also had Brann for them so 65 Yoggs would be 130 chances to get it
@@senboy9002 I’m counting Brann in the Yoggs because he played slightly less than 65 games. In addition, he rarely got Brann off because he needed to draw new Yogg or Brann off of outcast skull. I think the number of Yoggs is slightly closer to 70.

he was live for 9 hours yesterday playing this deck. he played over 50 yoggs, a lot of which were doubled with brann. NOT ONCE did he get it
The deck did not do it's thing :( though there were a bunch of really cool yoggs though :D

Assuming half of the Roffle's Yogg were doubled, he had 2.13% probability not to cast Rod of Roasting... Hopefully, because of that Roffle will be lucky for the rest of the expansion.
Wow, really? I mean, i've heard that it's a pretty low chance to get it, but man, that's very unlucky. I guess that's Roffle's punishment for trying to play Demon Hunter, amirit?
If the chance for rod of roasting was 5% thats not accurate either for 75 tries. He could also literally never roll the rod of roasting in his life. I mean 100tries would be 99,4% chance of doing it.

My first game this expansion was a Turbo Double Yogg Druid. On turn 6, I played Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate. It rolled Rod of Roasting. And without hitting me even once, it annihilated my opponent. I couldn't have imagined a better way to start the expansion. Praised be Yogg.

Would you consider reducing the opacity of the overlay in the bottom left? The contrast is a little jarring. I'll probably get used to it though.
Do you think that yogg is coded to never rod if a hero is immune since you could use timeout or that new rogue stealth card and the game would never end (technically) as neither hero could die?
eh, yogg is a huge spoiler alert :(
on an empty board, the end turn button will turn yellow if its rod of roasting or add free spells to your hand. therefore 50/50 spoiler when turning yellow. if end turn remains green its not rod.
on a board with enemy minions when end turn, turns yellow, its a 33% spoiler. either free spells, full board of rush or rod of roasting. when button turns green its not rod ever in this scenario too :(
Wouldnt it also turn yellow on the rush with an empty board?

Played against this deck yesterday. Opponent of course got blur into rod of roasting. I was playing Mage (the Deck of Lunacy + Double Yogg Deck Roffle played the other day) and had an Ice Block up. Result: infinite loop of Pyroblasts and a turn that didn't end. Conceded after two minutes to grant my opponent their little triumph. After seeing how often Roffle tried to set it up and never achieved it, I think it was deserved.

Yes. This video is highlights from 9 hours of streaming packed into about 30 minutes, and the free spells option was tilting roffle, so it was shown as highlights.

I'm playing this deck as we speak, and just pulled off the combo against a yogg druid.
I'd like to point out without blur, I would have taken 140 damage compared to my opponent taking 30... but I got it :D
wait what happens if your opponent is using timeout and you have blur up and rod of roasting happens? is it a loop
Probably Yogg will stop casting on the 30th Pyroblast. It's the anti-loop safeguard, and also stops Defile-Patron loops.
Roffle, I admit the new old gods might be frustrating for standard, but I'm still happy about them because they aren't so bad in wild, and I get to see your wacky videos.
P.s. I did the math, if you have brann in play your Rod of Roasting chances goes from a 5% to a 9.75% chance.

I got rod of roasting on my very first yogg. My opponent was playing res priest and had a board full of the 7/7 taunt deathrattle summon a 7/7. I killed all but about 4 of the 7/7 before I hit myself in the face twice and died. Didnt hit my opponents face once. QQ
I am AGOPO I was at the stream, that stream was the sanity loss of everyone
I give a riddle to the audience: Today I played a similar Yogg deck against control Priest and Yogg was my last card in the deck and I had no cards left in hand. I had 21 life left. I drew Yogg, played it and lost with the first spell. What spell was it? It directly killed me without any set up or combination of spells or whatever. It took me quite a while to think about if there even exists any other spell that could have instantly killed me there and I could not come up with another.

Roffle, do you not know that Devour and Hand of Fate both have a 24% chance because they have to bait you with the Rod of Roasting?
I kind of got "rod of roasting leathal" I played a mage prime that casted puzzle box that sent a pyro to the face for a win lol.
i think rod might be hard code not to be albe to get if one of the heroes is immune
First thing i did when the expansion came out was update my yogg shdderwock deck with the New one and chaos ensued good fun, untill shdderwock ate all other minions making it impossible to get more shudders, and my opponent played lord barrow and well you can guess what happened
Given that brann is on board, there's a 9.75% chance for you to have rolled a rod of roasting. Furthermore, in 7 games you have a 50-50 chance of having at least 1 game where rod of roasting is rolled.

The first game I played with new yogg is got two rods of roasting from double battlecry new yogg(4/5 triggered yogg battlecry)
Rod only has 5% chance of being picked despite the visual 16%. You would have to spin the wheel 10 times with brann

Seeing the Yogg get burned after you Storm Bringered into Octosari just hurt. Obviously it didn't matter because you were dead no matter what got burned but it just felt like unnecessary punishment

What if both players were immune when Rot of Roasting goes off.
The odds are sad, yes. But every time you fail, it doesn't mean every successive time is more likely to get it. It just means that this was a lost Yogg. Probability is cold and unyielding.

Survival of the Fittest is a Druid spell from Scolomance that buffs your side of the board, minions in your deck AND minions in hand.

I see roffle only play standard cards in a game so when I see the opponent play a wild card I'm confused where he got it from.
Well, he IS playing DH, so there are no wild-only class cards available. That will change next expansion, as the DH Initiate set will go away to Wild when that drops.
