11:34 Everything was very chill, the sound was great, the atmosphere amazing, the small amount of story building we're getting.. when suddenly "IT LOOKS LIKE THE LIGHTS ARE ON SOMEBODYS HOME" I almost threw my headphones off! 🤣
Watching at 1am. Wife asleep nearby. On another tab, just listening. iT LOoKs liKE THE LIGHTS ARE ON-- Soul forcefully ejected from my body. Wife continues to snore. RIP me.
I’m from Chicago and I love winter. Dressing in layers, drying boots and gloves on the vents, finding excuses for making hot chocolate… it gets about 5°C/~10°F colder on average here than in the Netherlands but we’re usually guaranteed at least one bitter cold spell where it gets in the single digits Fahrenheit (< -12°C). With windchill we can get like -20°F/-28°C. Honestly makes me feel competent at survival that I can function in these temperatures 😂 part of why I love it. Christmas is something I look forward to at the beginning of winter before the BIG cold settles in.
You should consider supplementing vitamin D during low light months, it will help with mood since you’re possibly not endogenously producing enough from the low UVB exposure. Alternatively you could try eating slightly more dietary fat, which could help with absorbing any vitamin D you’re already eating in foods or supplements. Totally get wanting to just hibernate through winter though, I need like 2 layers on minimum in order to function and my feet get permanently cold.
Wow what a GAME! My brain is still doing loopty-loops and I'll probably be thinking about it for a week straight. Honestly this should be part of a master class on game development! Such a gem. 💜
Story spoilers for those who haven't yet played the game or watched Insym's playthrough: . . . That abusive dad was so realistic -- completely selfish to the very end, asking for forgiveness and making himself into a fellow victim of himself. Makes me wonder if he planned ahead to unalive his daughter and then himself or if he went too far, snuffed her when he hadn't been intending to, and then knowing he was too cowardly to deal with the consequences of his actions, he decided to exit life, sending his son one last eff-you while writing that note, explaining how what he did to his daughter was a kindness and asking for his son's forgiveness. Sometimes the stories told within horror games are too simplistic, just trite, or actively impede the gameplay, but this one was incredibly well crafted: both gameplay and the story enhanced each other. On a smaller non-story note: I appreciate how the devs considered color blind players in their game design. The symbols were a little hard to see in the last set of lever-pull tunnels (as one is being chased by a monster), but I was still glad to see that they existed!
"why dont people like the winter" as a person from montana who gets to experience about 7 months of winter and have about 18 diffrent seasons in 1 day in spring and fall. winter loses its "lovely-ness" after about a month, the 12 feet of snow, and the -40 degrees loses its novelty very quickly. xD
This was an INSANE game, I was glued to the twitch stream through most of it. Might have switch on a couple extra lights in my house as it progressed. Loved the little mini games inside the game. All round good one!
Damn, that game was so good, I watched the whole thing. In my opinion, this game is a spiritual successor from Silent Hill! It had everything the ps1 version had, up until 4 (ps2) Wuird monsters, sexy monsters, riddles, 8 different wall brakes, and even thous sexual frustrated moments. Hell, even the needless kay collection in your inventory that would make every janitor jealous. 9/10 indi horror game. Would rub it into Konami face!
I agree with the winter, I love Christmas. I love how cozy u can get. By a fire etc, Also u can get off of work if the roads are bad. Also inside is not super hot and sweaty while working, like summer is.
I love the concept of Winter/Christmas it's nice yes it's fun when I watch people prepare and stuff but the amount of pressure that it comes with, the need to give GOOD gifts to my mom or else youd be made fun of for the rest of the holidays, and "bonding" with family is just another excuse to one up another family member with their achievements in life. And as a quiet person who is barely competitive you're often picked on cause you have barely anything to show for :( i hope I enjoy it soon tho
That sounds like a lot of pressure, and it’s pretty rude of your mom to make fun of you about gifts. Not cool mom ☹️ I’m sure you know you don’t have to measure up to others but it sucks when that’s just ✨how it is✨ with your family/extended family. It’s a microcosm, though, and you get to be a part of it for better or worse. I hope you find your way to enjoy the holidays ❤
Ive never watched Lord of the Rings either- I went to see it in theaters and the projector died so they sent us home haha then never felt like wasting that much time just sitting there again lol
Awesome game & Loved the stream!! Plus was Mark possessed by David’s spirit after he quit playing or was it really Amanda’s spirit to get truth out to other players?? So juicy of a story!
I took it as Amanda punishing Mark for being like David and turning a blind eye to her suffering. Whether it's actually Amanda, David's younger sister, or David's imaginings of how Amanda may blame him for covering up the truth of what happened to her brought to life by demons, I'm unsure about.
"it's not what it looks like youtube" lmfao this site is so trash. The crazy shit that gets through youtube kids and all the filth promoted in shorts, but a mature horror game stream gets dinged. Absolutely ridiculous.

Discovering hidden gems and jewels? This is amazing.
I always get depressed during the winter. If I could just hibernate through winter that would be great.

This game is quite good. I love the concept of a game within a game, and the two worlds connected.
