Australian pouring Medium: Fluid art
My Global “keep it simple” pouring medium used for my usual work is a mix of 70% KIS pouring medium and 30% warm water.
Add this mix to paint until correct consistency required for your particular technique.

I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed, not all paint brands may react with this pouring medium, so just test out.
paint brands mostly used are the Global impasto paints, Amsterdam paints, pebeo paints,also Mont marte studio acrylics, or pouring paints.
I Certainly explore different brands and mediums, it’s all part of the learning process.
No silicone or floetrol required if using Globalcolours KIS POURING MEDIUM
“Cell Activation”
Extra special cell and lace and bloom like creation is found with Amsterdam paints add Aussie floetrol until correct consistency required, then used in pour or used to swipe details, “Aussie slides” are easily created this method.

Hi Gilly, I love those earthy colours. Those metallics really sparkle. Your starbusts look gorgeous in the centre. I love it without the stencil but I can see that the stencil helps to balance out the darker petals. A stunning piece either way. 💖💕💖

Gilly, this one is a stunner! I was like oh no! At first because it was so BLOWN OUT but, then you added the smaller parts when you switched blow dryers. ( yep, saw that) I fell in love with the results. I would love to try this with a white and silver flower with a bit of black or maybe your berry delicious as a center. What fun. I’m thinking about a very pale dove grey background. Maybe adding a touch of glitz with firefly paint in the flower petals. Oh my goodness- so many ideas!

A stunning piece of work and I loved all of the colors and techniques you used. The only thing I wasn't sold on was the stencil at the end. I don't feel like it added much and it definitely took away from the exquisite beauty of the flower and all of the other colors. Just my opinion now.

Gilly, right of the bat, I noticed the new "pink" hair dryer 😊 did you try to find one about the same as your "ole' buddy" little one? I have yet to find one that feels right, or that has actual cool settings. Then I went "Oh, there is the baby dryer"!! LOL I truly do love the color choices, and how they came together in the end results!! The softness of the outer edges brings focus to the center and all it's movements, especially your "baby kisses"!!! Very beautiful, I love it!! ☺❣

I love these colours but when I use them well any acrylic paints really my work doesn't dry beautiful and shiny like yours but matt, any guidance will be appreciated, also what you use to varnish, I have tried a varnish to try make it shiny but not really successful 😊
Maybe try adding a little gloss medium to your paints, what paint and pouring medium brand are you using?
