    Hyperice recently announced the launch of several new products, with one of those being a completely new product called Hyperice X. Hyperice X uses state of the art technology to create a water-less and ice-less contrast therapy device. The Hyperice X is a self cooling and self heating device that can be worn on the go. It is specifically designed to be worn on your knee and can help with warming up, managing inflammation, or simply promoting blood flow with contrast therapy. While it offers contrast therapy, it does not offer any sort of compression therapy. The technology behind this is absolutely crazy and definitely the most impressive part of this device.

    I bought this after watching this video. It just doesn’t get nearly cold enough to do any good. It basically chills the skin but never reaches deeper. Otherwise it’s very nice. Returning it, though, as a cheap ice pack does far better. Heat feels nice but doesn’t seem to do anything, either.

    Do you think it would be possible to use this on your back with the extenders?!

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm I really don’t think so. Even with the extenders I don’t think it would be big enough to wrap around. I suppose you could try to get some sort of straps of your own to wrap around it but otherwise this would be pretty difficult to use on your back.

      Hopefully hyper ice can make some extender straps soon. These products are very new, so I know that we will get something in the near future.

    This is a pretty cool device from hyperNoCase lol
    This would be awesome for my lower back if they ever make a back one I am sure to buy. I’m just not sure how the fans would work if you’re laying on your back

    I could be wrong but it would seen like it conforms to any shape really, so i would think you could get long velcro straps and adapt it to your back

    I'm sure it uses peltier modules. Look into those if youre interested in know how it works.

    Great Tech but not quite there yet. The cold isn't enough to penetrate into the deep tissues where most the inflammation is. Good for knee relaxation but if you have ACL, PCL or meniscus injuries it won't do as much as an ice pack. I think LCL and MCL injury have some benefit with this device. I own and run a therapy center and have been waiting for something like this for years. I believe they will get there as they improve their tech.

      I agree that I think this tech is going to pave the way for some really cool devices in the future.

      As soon as I saw this i knew the cold wouldnt be very cold. And after I learned those were fans, now im suspicious thats the only thing cooling the knee at all.

      Do you think this is overpriced or it’s a good deal for something that does ice an injury I tore my meniscus 3 times

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@justinmata6372 I think it’s a great device but not a replacement for ice just yet. Not quite worth the investment in your scenario if you ask me.

    Hyperice X is not as cold as the regular gel/ice pack but is it cold enough to help with swelling knee? I bought it already but still making the decision to keep it or not since it is not as cold as the ice pack. When you do contrast therapy, it won't get to the maximum cold or hold level as the arrow indicate. It is indeed so much more convenience than using the ice pack since I can use it anywhere and as frequent as I want. I just want to know if the level of cold/hot of this device is effective enough to treat knee pain since it is not as cold as a regular ice/gel pack.

    I need this thing half torn ACL in college playing ice hockey I need it bad

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah, I can imagine this would help a lot if you have a lot of residual pain from a past injury or surgery. The fact that you can just wear it anywhere and have it maintain it's temperature would be a great benefit for your relief.

    I travel a lot and my hamstrings get pretty tight from running and then getting in and out of cars/planes, could I use this on my hamstring? Or could I use the Venom Leg on my hamstrings? I always love your reviews, thanks!

      Hi Aaron, I think this could be used on your hamstrings but don't feel it would be super effective.

    This one is way better than the Therabody. I have had both. Returned the Therabody device, the that one looked nicer but the Hyperice is 100 times better.

    Wow, our tech is really advancing in regards to physical therapy especially when on the go .. I don't suffer much knee pain. I suffer terrible dehablitating shin splints. Can you adjust the therapy device so it can fit around the calf and directly over the shin

    • @BestMassageTech
      @BestMassageTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At the moment they are only built for the knee but depending on where he wants to use it on his arm it may work but not going to be the best fit most likely.

      Good question. I just got one today and rather have 2. If the app doesn’t allow it, you can put them in the offline mode. Or maybe use two devices, one device to control each Hyperice.
