Oh this is definitely something we argued about but we conceptualized it more of a CV sequencer than a pitch sequencer, but we quantized the encoder clicks as a compromise. We knew we wouldn't be able to please everyone so went with the functionality that was most immediate and didn't require us to add still more key combos (which are largely against our ethos haha).
I’m glad you said ‘please go see the manual video’ at the start abd was expecting to see a cool video that had sone really cool performance ideas. You then went on to say what the manual said. Apart from the start stop switch. So it could have been a lot better.
The Variatic Sequent and the Variatic Multium would pair perfectly with the MD! You can use the VS and VM for all of your trigger needs and then MD can take care of your pitch and CV.
How did I miss this video!? So awesome.
Great video Norman and a very fun module.
the synth voice isn't mentioned.. is it a BIA..?
The Mimetic Digitalis is fun to say and great to play
Love this sequencer. Throw it through a quantizer for instant 16-step techno that sounds a bit more ‘mainstream” than unquantized :)
Where is the bass drum and lead voice coming from?
..wish I knew ..?
I love the MD but I wish it had scales or at least major, minor and chromatic. I now always have a quantizer nearby.

Well, it's indeed the smallest most hands on CV sequencer on the planet :)
@@NoiseEngineering A good compromise I think! But then I like everything be as out of key as possible :)
I love my MD! Paired with Integra Solum it does a lot in a small space.
Hope everyone at NE is doing well
Is it normal a delay between the clock input and the clock out? Thanks!

I believe the start/stop switch is covered in the manual, but I'll check. Thanks for the feedback!
Would the variant sequent and expander pair well w the MD?
