For me it's the Hilary Duff first then Selena Gomez and Rags is third and that's it. Last year a new one came out with Bailee Madison and I thought it was cute but that's it. I do watch Rags more often tbh so I have to go with it.

idk i never really counted him as a youtuber. he did some covers but that was after he'd begun acting and releasing music. and he was never a sit in front of the camera and talk to his youtube fanbase type. he legit just posted songs and only for a couple of years. he started in modelling and broadway in the 2000s.

I distinctly remember these coming out within weeks of each other. You were either a rags fan or a let ot shine fan. Although let it shine was more popular, it was always rags for me. Kiki and Coco basically had the same role and I preferred Kiki. I loved the songs and Max. And most of all it didn't have that stupid photo mix up. I still can't believe someone with enter a competition and enter a photo of 2 people and they aren't even in the foreground. Then be mad that she assumed it was the other person. I had a whole argument about it in class
Right? Like Let It Shine was dumb with the photo. At least circle yourself in the photo! Did he just not have a photo of himself? Like that is all his fault, although the friend should have been honest and said he wasn't Truth, but he can't be fully blamed. Rags is far better even if done not great.

@@fidelianerina Ehhhh Tyler Williams completely outshined the guy on Rags. I also think Brandon Smith (Bling) and Trevor Jackson (Kris) we’re significantly better side characters. Let it shine was also more entertaining, I’m lowkey bored watching the snippets from Rags during this reaction. I’m realising nostalgia and my appreciation for Keke Palmer carried this movie hard.
With Rags, the main character did nothing notable with his career, and Drake Bell became a pedo. Meanwhile with Let It Shine, I’m watching Coco on the Fresh Prince reboot, Tyler on Abbott Elementary and Trevor on Grownish. I think it helps the movie age better when the actors do well for themselves afterwards because you can look back and be like “oh yeah I remember when they did this together.” Keke is the only thing that keeps people coming back to Rags.

Rags actually came out first. Only by a couple weeks though. I just looked it up. But agree with the others who are saying tha Max the main guy character actually has an amazing voice. I’d definitely recommend reacting to some of his songs/covers.

The reason I knew Billy wouldn't like this movie is because Billy couldn't make it. He had a few mix tapes and tried to get signed, but no label ever did. Funny, cause I can make him a globally known name with no label. Mellow has more potential as a comedian than a music artist, but his time will come.
So at the end, yes it was him singing. Max is actually an incredible singer. I love his music

Yo this movie came out the night or two before the last day of school and it was awesome, then 13 days later Disney's Let It Shine came out, the summer of 2012 was lit. Max is still underrated he did that nickelodeon show How To Rock with Master P's daugher Cymphonique Miller ans still doing music but when he did Perfect Harmony with Keke that was it, Someday is number one and Perfect Harmony is two. Billy you should do Another Cinnderella Story with Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley, it was alright. #Bingers

I still love this movie, but not better than Let it shine. I just think for Max’ songs they did something with the audio so he sounds like his singing is dubbed, which is crazy cuz he’s a good singer. And I agree with Mello, they needed better transitions into the songs.
I have to tell you, this is the hardest I have laughed at a reaction video in a long time. Props to both you guys, you feed off each other and its fantastic. The Spelling Bee is excellent. Melo's comments are also on point. some of my favorites include, "What even is the plot of this movie?" and " That girl....look like a cardinal." And when Billy begged them not to play the song the two blonde dudes repeatedly sing, I could feel his horror was real. I am here for both channels, but I have to say I will be watching every video you two do together. You made my night.

Nah Rags was always above Let it Shine for me. I loved all the songs in here, mostly, max's (the guy who plays the main character). On Spotify his voice sounds different Nickelodeon definitely messed up his voice lol. For me, it was the music that made it better. Let it Shine's music was good, great even, but something about the rhythm and beat of all of Max's and Keke's songs was better.
