Another great video Amy with you and Dougo. Love that sunset over the lake. Awesome. 👍❤️
Beautiful sunset. Great video. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!!
Love the eagle . I one land in my back yard on the 4th it was amazing. Every year I have turtles lay in my backyard. Every spring and a fall I get invaded by baby turtles my grandkids and nieces and nephews come over and help gather them up and take them to the swamp out back. It's so amazing teaching the young kids to always look out and help nature.
Another enjoyable Amy and Dougo video! I love how random the conversations get!
To finish with that sunset gave me peace and amazing blessings of the Lord. Shame more people just don't take the the time to look and reflect on God's creation. Be a lot better world in my opinion. God bless and be safe Larson family and friends from pa
Amy you and Doug are the best ❤
Doug cement is the part of the concrete mix that causes the other parts of the mix to harden.
Enjoying your videos😊😊😊
It really make my day❤❤
Thank you amy
Hi from Kansas, We garden and use 7 dust on all the plants for bugs or worm's. Keep them coming ty
I bought the liquid a while back because I didn’t know about the dust. I wonder if that works for slugs?
Great video. Farmers in our area have permits for animal control pretty much year round. They pay high school kids a.bounty for deer and raccoon. The deer meat is donated to the needy and the kids sell the hides.
Thanks Amy. Enjoying your video 😊
I like all the facial expressions Amy makes when Doug is telling his stories! You two are enjoyable to watch. Farm diversification? From hogs to turtle ranching :)
Dougo i could listen to you all day you are a hoot
I really enjoyed doug and Amy ventures you are in to details which I enjoy listening to I also enjoy chet channel also stone is starting to get chets facial features you guys are my favorite to view blessings to all
Love your videos. It's nice to follow fun sensible people. Dougo, you're a lucky man, Amy's a doll. You two remind of me of the relationship between me and my late wife . Glad I found this through following Larson Farms.
Cement is added to agrigate to make concrete. To get technical you place concrete you don't pour it. Who knew! Love the videos you both are so good together. Your both perfectionists.
Buy a Mini Split and it heats and Cools your Garage!
@@amysblessings They are not hard to install, are quiet, and very energy efficient. I love mine.
The look from Amy when Dougo brought up the golf clubs lol 😅 that’s a beautiful lake
Thanks for a lovely video talking about lots and lots and lots and lots of subjects-just kidding both of you!!!!!!!!
First of all the little air conditioner. They are super. I had one myself. Used it in a small shed where I kept my motorcycle. Kept the humidity out and my bike dry so to speak. Same thing you used yours for. Neat.
In your title you mentioned raccoons. Did not see any or don’t remember talking about them. Did I miss something???????
Loved all of your stories today. Such a FUN and RELAXING conversation with both of you today. Think you might want to be on the New York stage!!!!!!!!
Well anyway, was a fun time and lots of laughter and subjects.
You both take care and enjoy your day.
You folks are the best!!!!!!!!
With my blessings always!!!!!!

The struggles of story telling by Dougo
Even June left Ward Cleaver keep his Clubs in the closet near the Front door in the House. Cmon Man. 😮😮😮😮
Very beautiful sunset. My wife said to wash the raspberries in vinegar and water, maybe that will get the white worms. You guys are too funny, love it!
Slugs - Put a bowl of beer in your garden & slugs will drink it & die. Good luck - Granite Falls WA. 🙂
With that Sunset it makes the struggle worth it such a picture perfect moment thanks
Was in South Florida around 2000, big female loggerhead female turtle made her way up to the sea grass line. She was so large that instead of an egg chamber she made a trench over 10 ft. Once she had her body tilted and depth in the sand she began laying, kept digging which covered the other egg’s and laid more and more. Her front flippers were almost 5 ft long, 18 inches wide. Her head and beak was massive. I doubt I could have put her in a headlock. Her shell looked like a Volkswagen Beetle car. My friend and I estimated that she had to be close to 500 lbs. It was one of the most magical sights to behold God’s creation. Thank you Lord.
Put the raspberries in a bowl with a lid on it in the refrigerator over the night and the worms will crawl up on the lid, then it’s safe to eat 😊
Rainbows and skittles
Thanks Amy and Dougo for sharing this video with us very interesting for all.
The ol' scoop from feeding chickens / hogs came in handy for trying to protect the turtle eggs!
Me thinks that Dougo has been over dosing on Daddy Cornstar, nice!
Love your videos. They are so entertaining. You brought back memories from my childhood when I was in the Rasberry patch at my grandma's farm in Michigan. . I'm 63 and still alive after eating the raspberries lol. Anyway, here in Florida we tape off part of the beaches during the turtle nesting season. When you find a nest, you tape the area off to keep them safe. Also, you cannot have any lights shining on the beach area at night, during their nesting season. Loved the sunset during your boat ride. Watch out for those trees! Here's to you finding your new vehicle this weekend, as you drive thru the dealership parking lots.
You guys are terrific together. :-) Thanks for the stories
Slug problem try this 👍👌
Another great video Amy and Dougo, thank you 😊
👍🏽
Nice video amy larson watching from canada
Amy, you went and got the mower awhile back up in the shed
Turtle patrol lol
I had an oil cap jostle off on a trip. Yikes, miracle it waited til almost home and didn't ruin my engine!
You two made a good video enjoy very much God bless .
Hey Doug might want to look into buying a propellor protector for the boat motor. With all the rocks.
That huge bird is amazing.I love turtles. " House Cat!". 😅 It's like National Geographic 😊.
Thanks for the great videos.
Thanks for telling us about covering the turtle nest with sand . We have the same problem with varmints digging our eggs up. I put a metal mesh over two and so far it’s working. Next year l will have a bag of sand.
For the slugs, put beer in an empty tuna fish can and set them around your hostas. The slugs are drawn to the beer and they climb in and drink themselves to death. My wife does this with her hostas and she catches 50-100 slugs per day. I’ve never seen anything like it.
I have tried this but perhaps my container didn’t have enough beer in it. Hmm. I’ll try again.
@@amysblessingswe fill the tuna can about 1/2 full…that seems to do the trick.
I usually don't give advice but I put gps on my pontoon boat to mark important things like shallow areas, obstructions ect. mostly for my wife and others took it out. Love your family.
Just the best
So DougO' got some protein in with his raspberries? LOL
ahhhh it's only a worm, you'll live through it. Awesome video Amy. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Thanks for video.
I’ve heard to pour cheap beer on the ground where slugs are an issue
Amy thank you GOD BLESS ❤!
Awesome video and looking forward to the next one!!
I watched baby snapping turtles coming out of the ground. There were 28 of them after they were done coming out we dug up the hole and there were three eggs that never hatched. They lay a lot of eggs. Awesome to watch
My favorite TH-cam couple bar none !!!❤️❤️
Another bright spot for our day after enduring the problems Hurricane Beryl did rolling thru Houston,. Some beautiful sunset shots and enjoyed watching the turtle lady (Amy) take care of those eggs. Please keep us in your prayers a lot of people without power and it is starting to cause some people to lose their patience. Trying to show the love of Christ to those in need.
Good stuff guys, and beware the worm ❤❤
Being in West Texas, don't see many turtles. Ms Amy that was neater than frog hair watching. Thank you
Beautiful sunset
Loved the ride on the lake and also the turtle. Amy I have hostas that get eaten by slugs too. A friend told me to save egg shells and break them up and put around the hostas. The slugs wont go through the shells. It works. Take care cant wait for the next videos.❤
Those worms are from the spotted wing drophsilia going to have to spray for them and they like cherries and blueberries!
Actually cement is the powdered binder that reacts with water when you pour concrete. Concrete is a mixture of sand, gravel, portland cement and water.
'Mer·i·ca, beautiful sunset
I wood use/try Neem Oil for the slugs & other critters on the plants. Neem oil is not toxic & should stop slugs at least & more.
Amy, Dougo is taking over your channel once in a while, what could possibly go wrong.
Dougo need to put in a combo unit in your garage!!
That's the protein in the berries.
Put in a split unit. Beats window A/C. Just saying. Cheers!
Dougo must have a lead foot ! Lol
Ducks! get some ducks. they lìke slugs. plus they would fit well with doug. They are both Quackers. Lol
Cement is a component of Concrete along with sand, aggregate and water. The truck that delivers the concrete is a concrete truck. A cement truck is different as the cement is transported without any water so it will stay a powder.
Cement+sand+stone+H2O=Concrete
Mr.Cool
Amy have you tried any of the garden center available slug/snail baits? GREAT Video as always!!
I saw the Bug!
Hey Amy, if you don't have one of them Milwaukee sprayers have Chet order one from ACME. I have the 2 gallon one and love it. NO pumping yay! I think they make a one gallon also. Nice repurpose of the feed scoop lol
Lorsban half strength for the worms at the right time during the moth flight
I want that orange bug
Concrete is made from cement powder, sand and aggregate.
Quail size eggs and I've seen up to 22 eggs in a hole. A friend of mines dad has a snapper that he picked up when it was about a 50cent piece size.
Amy try triagacide by spectra get it at Menards I use on my lawn and my hostas safe for flowers with residual for weeks will do the job give it try !
It's a muck truck that hauls ready mix. Cement is a ingredient in concrete!! Confused yet Dougo
Cement = Portland cement in a bag to be mixed with sand and stone to = concrete
One of our Chevrolet customers came back to show us a hole in his hood of his Corvette apparently we forgot to put the oil cap back on when we're doing an oil change so we had to replace the hood Corvette hoods aren't cheap
w use cattlel manure around all garden area and have no insects.
Cementitious material, aggregate, water, and any additives = concrete
At least grubs are supposedly good for you, they are a good source of protein.
doug you need to fix bob
You make Jam out of the wormy raspberries ? That's what our grandmothers must have done.
Aren't raccoons and turtles and worms part of Larson Farm experience...that's only a small part of the picture.
What about wild cats, rats, mice, lizards (definitely part of the SoCal critter list). spiders, etc.....
We all need a good deworming now and then. I just take a hit of Ivermectin
Get a Mr Cool, any one can install it, it's pre charged.
Selling the Love Bug? Herby has feelings😢
It's time to replace little Bob
Stone has his Dad's story telling abilities- need more of him.
