    Once again you help me a lot. I received a huge shipment of succulents as a gift for Christmas. They had those criss-cross little spots and I thought it was mycoplasma. I left those plants in my carport separated from all my succulents until yesterday, the end of February. The seller kept insisting that it was edema so I decided to plant them in away from my other succulents and have been very nervous. After watching your timely video with all the examples I feel more comfortable with planting mine. :)

      Wow congrats on the new succulent it’s always exciting to unbox huge succulent shipment 😊yes don’t worry abt edema it’s not contagious and not fungal attack looks a lot like one and it creates panic 😊 ... happy gardening 😊

    I have that issue with my jade plant. It started during spring time when I put out my plants outside after the winter. Next thing I know my jade started with bumps, even my other succulents too.
    Thank you. You are the only person I've watched that says it's an over watering issue that it's a normal occurrence specifically to jade and that it isn't fungus.

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes it’s very common on jade and kalanchoe …don’t worry 😊🪴

    A charity gifted me 2 plants and they had these same little holes in them. It makes sense that it's from overwatering, they water all their plants in one go every week with a hose

    • @choux8372
      @choux8372 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have a question. Do you recommend repotting them while they're in this state?

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes you can repot them now as it summer ….echeveria is in its growing period …..only summer dormant succulents must not be repotted as they are resting unless the situation is really bad…..
      ahhh watering with hose can be quite risky for succulents water on the leave could lead to potential rot ….or they might get burnt if the water is left on the leaves and then if the sun rays hit them ….always blow of the water from leaves 😊
      all the best

    I’m so glad I found this video. I had those bumps really bad on a kalanchoe and I removed all but the top 10 leaves thinking it was diseased. You are 100% right it was a client that needed water and when I watered it it got those bumps. Thank you so much for a your helpful content.

    Very useful information and a very nice video! Thanks a lot ☘️☘️☘️It's easier to prevent it, but what if it's too late already? If you forgot to water the succulents for a long time, you shall start watering them slowly, not a lot immediately, right?

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Exactly you will start slow....and then after a while do a complete watering.....but incase if they even show up it will be very minimum barely visible as you already taken precautions and mostly they might show up on the lowest leaves of the succulents....but the good part is in future when you use those leaves for propagation they won’t transfer those bumps on the new pup and u will end up with a fresh new pup

    I live in himachal pradesh and I want to order some succulent so is it good time to order them or in the beginning of September ?

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mam succulents can be ordered any time but during monsoon there are chances of postage getting wet that’s a risk however most sellers will do the best packaging but there always a small chance that it might get wet which is not good for succulent inside the box....u can try with succulent crafty she has very good succulent collection and her packaging is very very good .
