Ningen Isu has quite the discography, more than 20 studio albums over 30 years. From here popular songs for a next reaction would include Namahage, The Colour out of Space and Toshishun. Others you may want to check out include Hari no Yama and Ringo no Namida, both of which are from the early days; the early videos of those songs will give you a taste of what they looked like when starting out. And don't miss an atmospheric masterpiece called At the Mountains of Madness. If you are an HP Lovecraft fan you may recognize a couple of those titles, as the band takes inspiration from him for a few of their songs, but more often from Japanese authors. Their band name is the title of short story by Edogawa Ranpo. Whether or not you have time to react to more, they are definitely worth exploring on your own. Thanks for reacting to a band that should be getting more attention.
@@PERKSreCAP Amigo give Band Maid from Japan a shot... they're playing at Aftershock on Foo Fighters Day later this year... here's a good live sample.. th-cam.com/video/iaf94nNSRGE/w-d-xo.html
They are known to be the Black Sabbath of Japan. The lead singer/songwriter/lead guitarist is known for his deep knowledge of Buddhism and his lyrics are steep into Zen/Buddhism leanings.
Welcome to Japan's rock and metal scene! Japanese rock and metal are what impress me the most today. It's fun, the bands are super skilled and they always create a great show. You can count on at least one solo, of some kind, in a song. All band members get the chance to shine at least once in a song or a show. Continue with this and you will soon realize that you have got hold of the mother lode and you will not regret it one bit. I suggest Toshishun as next song with them. Or why not Namahage?
Ningen Isu: Great King of Terror. Shinen. Imomushi. Lovers suicide in Shinagawa. At the Mountains of Madness. Plus all of what @T Woffo suggested. Have a nice ride.
These guys were finally going to tour America after decades of playing together and then covid hit. It kind of aligns with this songs lyrics. I love these guys.
I suggest Toshishun, Namahage (live) and The Colour Out of Space, all of which have English subtitles. Great reaction (although there seem to be quite a few moments where you're not watching the video).
HEARTLESS SCAT - NINGEN ISU Band If you, Holy Angels, do exist in this universe Will you bless me on the cheeks? Tell me, Lord Buddha Shabadabadia Shabadabadia Babababa Shabadabadia Shabadabadia Babababa Shine a light on my life Shine a light on my future Shine a light on every creature Shine a light on tomorrow for all.
Anything by Ningen Isu will be fine. Another band I’d like to see you take a look at is Voice of Baceprot. I’ve heard multiple (I don’t know… at least two) reactors say that anything from the official channel, actually, is 100% safe. I’d like to see you looking at their song God, allow me (please) to play music.
This song is a prayer for success and this video got global. That makes them go for the first tour overseas in the beginning of 2020. 2 gigs in Germany and one in London UK. Was heading to the US but then covid come along! Now.. Check out Show-Ya, all female band that formed a couple years before Ningen Isu. Try a song from the latest CD: eye to eye Official MV th-cam.com/video/ItCUyxbbg8M/w-d-xo.html
Any foreigners pronounce the bad name incorrectly. The band should be spelled as ‘Ninghen Isu’ probably. ‘ge’ in ‘Ningen’ does not pronounce ‘ge’ of ‘gentlemen’ but ‘ge’ of ‘get’.
Okay, I DO speak Japanese... But DAMN! Who cares about that? This is the soul of ROCK! in any language. The only band that comes close to this is Band-Maid.
@@PERKSreCAP Lovebites is good. For now, i will keep them in the same category that I (to my discredit) held Ningen Isu for too long. I never thought that Ningen Isu would have staying power without a drummer. They were incomplete. 30+ years, they proved me wrong. Lovebites is there. They are incomplete. The band has pillars (AWESOME) and it also has members that just from listening, no one would ever know if they switched out that person for another. Time will tell.
When you see a “G” in a Japanese word, it represents a “hard G” sound. As in “begin.” The “J” is used for the soft sound. The G is always hard, just like Ningen Isu. The name comes from an Edogawa Rampo short story about a man who hides inside an upholstered chair.

The video is not that important to me. I want to hear the music, so sometimes I close my eyes to really concentrate on what I’m hearing.

You’re right about Band Maid and Nintendo Isu. Check out Lovebites who is also right there with both of them,

grateful dead video blocked?!? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard....
It’s happened in the past. Usually the block is lifted after a couple days
