    Thank you Bill for tuning my Spyder, it runs great. No longer runs rich and sounds great with the RLS and Akrapovic exhaust.

      So it burns fuel better more mileage?

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @genocide9094 potentially you can get better gas mileage that's what we usually see. Of course with upgrading everything like exhaust and intake and then doing a custom tune we are putting out more horsepower and more torque which usually ends up eating up just a little bit more fuel. In some scenarios we see eco mode getting a little better gas mileage though. We have had customers reporting back to us with 32 to 35 miles gallon after the tune.

    Question: I was amazed at how much low end torque I lost after installing a cat delete with the stock tune on my 2020 F3-S. I removed it and the power came back immediately. What aspect of the tune is most affected by the installation of a cat delete? Thanks!

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ignition timing and the fuel. You have to remember when you have a cat on there and the stock factory tune. Stock factory tune is designed to heat up the cat this way when the cat is hot it burns off any excess fuel and odors. When you do a cat delete you have to tune the bike for that cat delete or you will definitely lose power. We do offer custom tuning. We carry the Dynojet PV4 which is the newest tuning device out for the Can-Am Spyder it uses Bluetooth and everything is done through your smartphone. It is capable of everything that the PV3 is capable of. The PV3 has its own display and is not Bluetooth compatible where is the PV4 uses your smartphone display and is Bluetooth. We carry both of these devices on our website in our Can-Am Spyder section at the following link. You'll see the option to purchase these tuning devices with a custom tune. Once you place your order you'll need to be sure to email us or put in the notes with your order a list of all of the performance parts installed on the bike as well as the year, make, and model of the bike.

    How do you do the tuning like am I able to tune my own bike or do I use pre mapped tunes for it? 22 f3s

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All of our tuning no matter what bike you have is done from scratch from the ground up. We don't offer any free tunes or what some companies refer to as canned tunes. We don't use those we don't believe in it. Everything we do is built here in-house from scratch from the ground up specifically for your bike and your parts. We use Woolwich racing software or Dynojet power core software. With a Dynojet Pv3 as long as you have a Windows computer or laptop to a certain extent you can build your own tune. You just have to have the windows computer or laptop and you have to download the Dynojet power core software and you have to understand how the C3 software works. If you're not familiar with tuning it would be best to get with a professional like us or any other company that does tuning to either have a custom tune made for you or ask the appropriate questions to learn about the C3 software. You can check out our website and at the bottom of our website you'll see a contact us button with an email and phone number. Thank you for subscribing to the TH-cam channel.

    I have a 2020 cam am spyder f3 and it's in limp mode

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We would probably need more details than that. The bike can go into limp mode for many different reasons. Anything from the transmission failing, a speed sensor failing, having your foot on the brake while giving it the gas, fuel pump issues. There is tons of stuff that can make it go into limp mode. You need to look at the codes that are on the dashboard. Then do a Google search and find out what those codes mean. Taking photos of the codes is best. This way if they disappear you'll be able to look at the photo to figure out what it was showing.

    hello i bought a used Spyder f3 limited which has been 'tuned' to bypass a few of the 'starting ' steps (Turn the Key release the parking break and power it) was simple and worked. After using the bike for several weeks it then suddenly stopped and would not restart. i remembered the Usual steps from a previous Spyder i owned (foot on the break ,Turn the key, mode,kill switch ON and power up) and that brought the bike back. However i am in constant concern that it will stall anytime. Question: Is it possible the tuning reverted back to default steps by itself? how can i clear that up. second question please : the Bike is a 2018 and has 32k kilometers on it (Canada)when i bought it but the owner talked a lot about all the very long trips he did with it..... IS IT possible using something like Dynojet PV3 to change the REAL mileage on a spyder? Thank you for your video i found it useful!

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For starters I'm guessing that the ability to start it in a abnormal sequence was just a fluke to begin with. I've never heard of anything like that We don't have options to do that stuff in the tuning It doesn't even exist. Unless some other company tuned it in a method that I'm not familiar with I've never heard of anything like that. So it's probably starting like normal now.
      About the tuning and it reverting back to stock No this can't happen. It's not physically possible. The ECU is only capable of storing one tune at a time. Meaning if you put an aftermarket tune on the bike that is what is written to the computer overriding any previous settings. There is no way for it to randomly fail or randomly revert back to something different. The tune that's on it is permanent until you physically change it with a tuning device like a PV3 or PV4 like what we carry on our website.
      About the mileage. No we cannot change the mileage but the only thing that can do that is a buds computer system with a megatech license which is over $900 USD. So I doubt anybody tampered with the mileage unless they had access to a system like that.
      We do carry tuning devices on our website and we can build a custom tune. Just keep in mind we only ship within the US...
      However if you can get your hands on a dynoJet PV3 or PV4 with the PV3 we can email you a custom tune with the PV4 everything is handled straight through your smartphone and we can add a tune directly to your Dynojet account. If you have any further questions please send us an email..

    What is the typical power & torque increase on a 2021 F3S (high flow intake + exhaust + 93octane) using a custom tune?

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The custom tune ads anywhere between 10 and 15 horsepower. A lot of it depends on obviously the parts you have, like exhaust, headers, cat delete, high flow filter. A bike equipped with these parts will make more power when adding the tuning then a stock one. A stock bike can still make more power than it would stock though. Horsepower numbers and torque are also going to depend on the quality of the motor, the quality of the spark plugs, quality of the oil, these things also all play a major role as well. A healthy bike with all the above mentioned parts would probably be closer to 15 horsepower extra when adding the tuning. It's actually a pretty significant gain. Just the torque curve alone is tremendous. There is so much potential when these bikes are tuned. We do keep the PV3 in stock we have it available on our website they are still on sale right now.

      What all is recommended for the tune without having to spend a ton of 💰. And top speed?

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can do the tuning on a stock bike. It just depends on what you're going after. If you wanting the most horsepower possible then go with an exhaust and a high flow filter and a cat delete and custom tune. You can always check out the PV3 on our website. We do carry it for your F3S.
      Take the time to read the description below the product as we do cover a lot of the details.
