Hi! I’m a third year radiology resident in Italy, if I want to get an experience in uk before the end of my training what are my chances? I was thinking about clinical fellow posts but as you say there are few chances, also once I finish my training (which is among European relevant qualification) do I have to take the frcr exams?
Hey can u tell me about biomedical scientist jobs... Im graduate of MLS.... What i need to do to be registered there and for a job and ofc immigration guidelines
Im currently training in radiology, Any idea if i can sit for frcr if i have a 1 - 2 year gap after finishing my training years? Also, will that affect my CV?
Hello there. This is a very difficult question to answer, as it entirely depends on your experience, qualifications and job market at the time of application. If you have your FRCR, then NHS opportunities will be very good for you
@@bdiresourcing5775 Hey thanks for the reply. I wanna enter FY2 after my mbbs. And then apply for ST radio. Ofcourse i know i need to have a lot of research experience. But the question is, is it at all practically possible?
Hello sir, i have heard its difficult for IMGs to get into radiology training through plab...not only because of high competition ratio but due to other factors as well note: I am a international medical graduate currently giving plab examinations
Hello. It certainly is more difficult to find positions in Radiology within the NHS that will accept just PLAB however it is not impossible! We would recommend beginning your FRCR as this will give you the best chances of securing an interview. Of course, for more Junior posts, you may be able to find a suitable position on NHS jobs
Once you have your FRCR you are eligible to apply for Radiology positions however 3 years may not be seen as sufficient to apply for Consultant level jobs. As stated, Middle Grade positions are possible they may just be harder to find. If you have got FRCR then please do send us your CV: apply@bdiresourcing.com and we can certainly help you find an NHS position
Hello, Im a Filipino trained radiologist. I would like to enter nhs via the frcr/cesr route. Can I simultaneously work and also train for a subspecialty interest once I pass the frcr? No complete idea about the u.k. system regarding this. Also, what Radiology subspecialty interest is in-demand in the uk? Thank You.
Hello there. Once you have your FRCR yes you can work and train within a subspecialty interest. Interventional Radiology is quite high in demand, along with Breast
Hello. Earning differs dependent on grade/experience rather than specialty. If you're a Consultant you're looking at £74k-£110k, Middle Grade £45k-74k and Junior can be anywhere from £28k+
