- Let's officially start the month of April! We have a few villains in front of us, but there is a festival waiting for us! I don't know if I'll be able to bring you another video before the festival starts, but I'll do my best. Speaking of Starro: he is a character who brings conflict in me, I don't like kaiju-like monsters, but I love mind control instead. Starro therefore positions himself in a strange area of my tastes, where I can appreciate him despite being a giant starfish. No doubt the Suicide Squad movie gave the character some notoriety and I'm glad, but I also enjoyed his arc in Batman The Brave and the Bold.

Starro is one of the few times were a giant creature that in concept has a goffy look actualy works.

We have to give James Gunn credit, he took a villian that could have been very ridiculous onscreen and made it completely terrifying

I always thought Starro was a pretty cool and unique villain. I also find him one of the only Kaiju villains I can appreciate so it was nice to see him appear in a live-action movie. The song works great for him, excellent way to start the month!
Whats wrong with other kaiju villains? Not judging, but as a kaiju fan i’m curious.

@@GreaterGrievobeast55 I'd say that it all boils down to people wanting more complex villains who are either evil just for the sake of being evil, but still nuisance like Frieza and the Joker, or emotionally shattered and broken with clear cut and understandable motivations like Mr. Freeze and Magneto. Kaiju are far more simplistic. There's little to no actual character to them, hence why the human characters in Kaiju movies are tasked with carrying the story. Although, if Primal has taught us anything, you can create a complex story without dialogue that takes place in a world mostly made up of Kaiju-esque monsters. Fang is as very much a complex character as Spear. The same can be said for Godzilla and Kong. I myself usually find the Kaiju to be more compelling because not only am I interested in their origins and their abilities, but because I honestly don't give a shit about the humans and their shit. Long story short, the simultaneous simplicity and complexity of the Kaiju is equal parts offputting and enticing. Some people dig the simplicity and the hidden layers to the Kaiju whereas others see them as brainless monsters devoid of any character that only serve as lumbering obstacles to be overcome. That's just my take on the subject anyway.

A shame young justice starro only appears alive in flashbacks, his design in particular was rad! Although all his appearances are amazing!expect nothing less than the most powerful telepath in creation!

In the comics Starro was the very first Justice League villain.
A villain that some people believe is a ripoff of the Facehuggers...despite existing before Alien.
One of my favourite villains and very underrated.

Well that's a good addiction to my live and I can't say I did not enjoyed it. It is amazing piece of work as always. Keep it up and Long Live The Arkham.
A wonderful tribute to the Conqueror! I personally am glad he's showing up more and more in media, and usually is given some form of presence in his appearances. It's a great way to honour one of the first enemies of the Justice League. As for this video, purely awesome! I really dig the space overtones of the song, and the lyrics strike perfectly with Starro. Add in some crisp editing and sublime visuals, and you got yourself one of the best vids you've made so far!

The first JL villain and one of DC comics iconic giant monsters. I just wish Starro was the main antagonist of the JL film instead of Darkseid, though I am happy he received some exposure in the SS film.
Not going to lie this villain's design creeps me out a good deal.

Awesome Starro video!! Didn’t know much about Starro besides the robot chicken dc special so I never took the character seriously. Was nice seeing him in The Suicide Squad. The movies goofiness made it easy for something like Starro to work well in seriously. Also you did a really good job making this song work for Starro man! Here I thought it could only work for Venom but you proved me wrong lol very nice 👌
