WAIT I WAS ON THAT FLIGHT TO CHIGACO! So surprising that I actually was on the same flight! I took a photo of the plane before takeoff at the Toronto airport, In the photo it’s aircraft callsign was N77520 right? Because In the photo I see the callsign, wish I could fly the 737-800 again.
Airplane mode only blocks sattelite transmission from coming into your phone. So it only blocks your internet, SMS and other stuff but the phone is still working. It's the same as a phone but with no internet.
