I have been digging deep in your channel doing research.. Tomorrow Morning I will be training on a 2013 903K Deere, with a Qaudco Cutting disc and top chain/bar setup.. i am a excavator operator and have been doing it for 10 years now but I am back home and my family member needs a operator for his 903K he bought with a brand new head.. it used to have the feller buncher head on it but he took it off, doing mostly hardwood/firewood and also pulp loads.. can you upload or suggest any videos on tips and tricks.. would cutting big maple/birch work the same, am I able to put those size trees in a hole and bunch afterwards.
curt648 yes that’s the way I was doing it for the past year. Then the guy that was laying the wood down had a change. Just got a buncher ahead of me again. I really like it makes everything go much better

Have you ever tried processing out of buncher piles? I've got a 153 fabtek and fell with a 753g Deere in front of it. Increase of over 25% production.

Spruce I agree. Also much easier to cut the slash down. You don't break chains or bend bars hardly at all
