Pretty sweet.. How long was the Suburban on jack stands, a year and a half… Two years? Outstanding work, especially for a back yard build. It just goes to show you that you don’t need a high dollar shop if you’ve got the gumption.
Thanks man. The truck was on stands for about 6 months, and fine tuned on tires for another month or so. You can do this work in a shorter period of time if you not: a) filming it b) doing all the ancillary integration work (exhaust, etc.) like I did.
If you got here before the video officially went live, you watched the intro all the way through, and are officially part of the #endoftheepisodeclub. Welcome.

I had the please of looking over the Suburban some months back. That Suburban has so much love put into it. I'm curious to see your future modifications, but right now I'm mostly excited to see this series. Great start and love the ending blooper.
I've got plenty of bloopers to share. Pretty much one per episode. The truck has changed a lot in a year, and there's more to go. Sliders are up next along with shock tuning.
All these parts are on my ORD build page, and there's a variant for half ton stuff: th-cam.com/users/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqblpvZFhnNVhFTy1JMjI1RkRVWlNPQ0sxaHQ4UXxBQ3Jtc0trRFdtZFk1b3RnZVVSVGFuMS1veWdFbk5jMzl6UzRPNUUyb1ByU215N19wVWdvU1dRUUJIYU4yWFh3TXB4OHJiS25EeXh6WTFyUFAxRVZOV2Z5dzRQZENlY0hPb1BNZFFRN2gtRHFGbUpRUGU3R2xiNA&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.offroaddesign.com%2Fwillomet-motor-and-fab-s-suburban-ord-parts-list.html&v=BXBxH4I9KnI
Next Tuesday is 02/05. We're releasing them pretty quickly since it's instructional - FYI each segment covers about what you and a buddy can get done in a weekend, Friday night to Sunday afternoon.
Give ORD a call. They have solid axle stuff for a lot of our trucks, and can help develop a modular build plan. I agree that year range is ripe for building.
Why couldn't one have single leaf springs that would act as the links do and still use coils to support the truck ? Certainly not as good as your setup but very simple.
You certainly could do that, but the benefit of links is less about coilovers delivering a spring rate and more about exceptional suspension geometry and steering. Leaves don’t do the latter nearly as well.

Vielen Dank für diese netten Worte. Es freut mich, dass dir die Folge gefallen hat. Diese Woche kommen noch zwei weitere dazu!
The second set of bypass shocks really shined in the whoops on the convertible.
No doubt. The rate and valving are well tuned. I’m excited to see how much control I can get with more standard kings with clickers.
Nice video. Good to see the Burb all put together. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
Thanks dude. It’s good to have it all together, and get back to driving it.
Great info from the people that know. Thanks for sharing this on the best Chevys out there.
Glad to help, and glad you're here.

You won’t have to wait long.
Can't wait to dig into this series! Thanks guys.
Hope you enjoy it!
Great video!
Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed it
This is beautiful!! How much for the parts to do this same setup on a 84 single cab 10 bolt 4x4??

I have always wondered why oem manufacturers steadfastly refuse to build adequate suspension.
#endoftheepisodeclub When's Part 2 coming? I'm not a welder, but i am finding this very interesting

@@WillometMotorFab cool. looking forward to it

My brian, and some other organs, can't handle the excitement!
Next Tuesday, 02/05 will provide the cure.
Do you think I could do this 4 link on a 87 R10 2wd frame making my 2wd into a 4wd?
Yes. Many have done it before. Go for it!
Is there a complete kit for the 2011 to 2013 Suburban’s? Soo many people want to modify these years now.

Willomet Motor & Fab Yup, WFO is developing a new kit for those years right now too.

As seen on DED.
What anti dive value this ORD front kit is?
I don't know, but a quick call to ORD would shed some light. They're good folks.

@@WillometMotorFab I get that, I'm just looking for a better ride quality and leafs are such a simple set up .
@@ExploringCabinsandMines Understandable. Links are worth the stretch.
