Hey Gurdians! Wow, you have written me so many comments about participating in the Eurovision Song Contest, that I finally decided to try it. As an independent artist, this is a very big chance for me. This is my song "Melodies Of Hope", it is a mix of medieval/celtic music and viking-ified minimal EDM. Or as I prefer to call it: Celtic Folk Pop. If you like it, this time it is especially important to share it if you want me to get into the competition. I really hope that they choose this one but i know they will go with a standard pop song which is the same bullshit as every year... Last year millions of people wanted Electric Callboy but no, they choose a song with 10k Views lol. (Electric Callboys song was at over 9 million views at the time xD)

Es war definitiv der schönste Song.
Aber auch Lords of the Lost haben stark abgeliefert.
Damit dürfte ein Ergebnis im Bereich 8 bis 15 möglich sein, ob es für mehr reicht kann ich nicht sagen.

2018 war auch ein sehr guter Künstler am Start, der sogar immer noch sehr erfolgreich ist - Malik hat den schlechten Platz letztes Mal auch nicht verdient - sie mag gut sein, aber das ist für meinen Geschmack eher irische Folklore und passt nicht als deutscher ESC Beitrag

Hey Patty, ich wollte dir nur sagen, dass man direkt gemerkt hatte, dass da irgendetwas mit der Technik nicht gestimmt hat. Es ist absolut okay, dass der Abend nicht so verlief wie wir alle und vor allem du es dir gewünscht hattest. Ich hoffe, dass du dem Ganzen doch noch irgendwie was Gutes abgewinnen konntest.
Du hast dir nach all dem Trubel echt ne Pause verdient - und honestly, dem Tontechniker sollte man mal eventuell sehr bald loswerden. Letztes Jahr gab es da genau die gleichen Probleme beim Vorentscheid.

@@elfenherz81x49 was für Müll? Es war sehr viel gutes in den letzen Jahren und Gewinner, die richtig HUGE rausgekommen sind, wie schon lange nicht
@@elfenherz81x49 naja wenn man sich ein bisschen mit dem ganzen beschäftigt weiß man ja wie die Songs oft ausgewählt wurden. Da macht nach dem 2021 Flop fast sogar das 2022-Debakel mit den 6 Radiosongs schon irgendwie Sinn weil man einfach einen safen Weg gehen wollte - aber Spoiler das funktioniert beim ESC nicht und das haben wir 2022 auch gesehen. Dieses Jahr ist allerdings diese Jury, die im letzten Jahr übrigens auch wirklich nur aus Radioleuten bestand und 2020 & 2021 aus einem durch eine Umfrage ermittelten Eurovision Panel, allerdings wieder eine ganz neue und diese setzt - zumindest *angeblich* - voll auf verschiedene Musikgernes, sowie mehr Ecken und Kanten. Ob das wirklich was wird kann man natürlich nicht wissen, sondern nur hoffen, aber Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt. Trotzdem wenn der deutsche Zuschauer wirklich was anderes haben wollte, hätte er in manchen Vorentscheiden der letzten Jahren schon die Möglichkeit gehabt etwas mit mehr Ecken und Kanten zu wählen, aber zum einen lässt der NDR zu oft, zu viel des weichgespülten Englischpop mit in den Vorentscheid und zum anderen wählt die tolle ARD-Zuschauerschaft in den letzten Jahren dann oft auch einfach das Schlimmste mit den wenigsten Chancen. Wir hatten die Chance auf gute ESC-Acts mit Voxxclub oder Lilly Among Clouds aber entschieden wird sich für S!sters (2019), da spielt halt mehr rein als nur die Jury, auch die alte Zielgruppe des Senders ist ein Problem. Vielleicht kann man diesem wirklich mit der TikTok-Integration etwas entgegen wirken, wir werden sehen, aber erstmal genug gerantet, ändern können wir's eh nicht, da sollte man es einfach nicht zu ernst nehmen und anfeuern kann man ja auch genug andere Länder... Auch wenn das echt traurig fürs eigene Land ist.

Verdammt ja. Mit Patty hätten wir wirklich mal wieder Chancen die vorderen Plätze einzunehmen, wenn nicht sogar zu gewinnen. Patty ist talentiert, macht tolle herausragende Musik, singt perfekt Englisch, sie ist mit ihrer Drehleier einzigartig und sticht aus der Menge heraus. Und auch wenn es zur Musik nichts beiträgt ist sie verdammt hübsch. Also eigentlich die perfekte Kandidatin.
Und noch dazu ein zeitgemäßiger Titel? "Melodies of Hope" - wer kann das heutzutage nicht gebrauchen?
Nicht, wenn das so wie letztes Jahr läuft. Da wird dann irgendwer anderes hingeschickt. :D
Patty traue ich es durchaus zu, aber dem Song nicht, zu sehr ESC-Einheitsbrei und bleibt nicht im Ohr, als bei mir nicht, nettes Liedchen... "Over the Hills" "The longing" sowas in der Art, es muss auffallen, im Ohr bleiben, so dass man gleich weiter summt, ohne das Lied noch zu hören und "Melodie of Hope" ist leider nur nett.
Die Hurdy Gurdy kommt bei mittelalterlich angehauchtem Rock besser zur Geltung, groß, einnehmend mit einem ruhigen Anfang und Ende.
Sie kann es, ihre Stimme und ihr Instrument, aber das Stück ist halt... naja
Die Drehleier ist ein elektronischer Dudelsack :)
@@chrisklueppel83 Sehe ich anders ... natürlich ist es - wenn man ihre Musik kennt und liebt - eher "Pop-Musik". Jedoch hast du beim ESC gerade einmal 3 Minuten Zeit, um deinen Titel vorzutragen. Da kannst du keine komplizierten Songstrukturen und erst recht keine zu komplizierten Arrangements bringen.
Das hier passt schon so wie es ist. Ich sehe eher ein Problem in der Ähnlichkeit zu Emmilie De Forest -

Alter Falter. Dass ich das noch erleben darf. 2 wahnsinnig gute Beiträge zum Vorentscheid. Eigentlich steh ich eher auf härteren Rock und hätte gesagt, Lord of the lost wären mein klarer Favorit. Aber das hier finde ich tatsächlich besser und tauglicher für die große Bühne.

Ich mag sie schon allein weil eine Leier im Spiel ist. Der Song ist definitiv massentauglicher als der von Lord of the Lost. Wobei Lord of the Lost natürlich auch super abliefert. Was ich mir tatsächlich sehr gewünscht hätte, eine solche Band die deutsch singt. Leider ist da die Auswahl eher mau und so typisch "trocken"/langsam. 😐

Ich bin zwar großer Fan von Blood and Glitter, aber glaube mit diesem Song hätten wir die besten Chancen. Ist einfach super eingängig und interessant, viel Glück! 😁
Da stimme ich voll zu. Der Song hat das Potential ein Ohrwurm zu werden. Er hat Schwung und eine Botschaft.
Ich habe mir die anderen Bewerber angehörtund war zum Teil ziemlich enttäuscht. Da waren Balladen dabei, die fast die ganze Liedlänge über denselben Ton und dasselbe Tempo haben, das ist einfach zu eintönig für den ESC - sorry, aber ist doch so. Wer gewinnen will, muss "im Ohr" bleiben und etwas haben, woran sich die Leute erinnern.
Finde ich auch. Ich liebe beide Songs, aber glaube, dass dieser Song international noch etwas besser abschneiden wird als Blood and Glitter, obwohl ich Lord of the Lost auch feier.
Enttäuscht wär ich mit keinem von beiden.
@@Nico6th Vielleicht liegt es an der Auswahl vom letzten Jahr, aber enttäuscht war ich von keinem Beitrag. Zwar haben einige meiner Ansicht nach keine Chance beim ESC, und entsprechen auch nicht meinem persönlichen Geschmack, aber immerhin klangen sie alle unterschiedlich - nur Will Church und 10/10 könnte man verwechseln. Und jetzt da Ikke Hüftgold dabei ist, sind meine Ansprüche rapide gesunken. Auf „alles nur nicht Ikke oder 10/10“ 😬

wir hatten das jetzt wirklich oft genug, dass da Bands oder Einzelsänger hingeschickt wurden, die ganz eindeutig von Anfang an keine Chance hatten, oder zumindest mit dem ausgewählten Lied keine Chance hatten.
