Hi paarth, zaid this side I landed in Brisbane Australia on 23rd May and my course is starting from 22nd July. In between my father had a heart attack on 17th June so I had to return to India my father’s condition is still critical he had a bypass surgery. I’m currently enrolled in QUT for masters in professional engineering. Long story short my question is if I want to defer my intake will that affect my student visa?? Because obviously my CoE will be cancelled. I want your opinion what should I do I can’t leave my family in this situation.
Personally you can defer the course as much as you want if you're not yet onshore. In your case I wouldn't be too sure about it. Its best to find a migration agent for fine details

I have applied visa, for Grifith university for july intake. I submitted my application on 12 th june, 2024. Till now i havent received my visa on 23rd August,2024. I applied for my coe for intake feb2025. Same has been updated on the website. Still haveing butterfly in my stomach, about my visa.
Procesing time is 30 days - 4 months. It has been almost 50 days bro.
