He wronged her in every way he could and now, even challenging her as a business woman starting a brand new law firm from scratch, he can't swallow his pride or shelf his monstrously huge ego long enough to admit to her she's got him by the nose hairs and she's done it all up front and legally and he's beginning to sweat. He began a law firm with her years ago because her knew she was smart and capable and steadfast and his arrogance and ego convinced him she was less than he in all regards, to the point of cheating on her and destroying their family, and now that she's standing up to him without saying a word, just taking action a little at a time, he's realizing how intelligent, calm, well-connected and well liked she is to the point his best employees have mutinied and joined her firm. He can't even walk out of her office without spouting an immature veiled threat that he's still better than she; he thinks by throwing gloves down (metaphorically speaking) she's going to cave and get thrown off balance. Such a jerk. So glad she dumped him and found her own self worth and self confidence again.
This guy was horrible all the way through this drama he even tried blackmailing her with the kids to try and get her to stay. And the way he treated the older son was just horrible I think I felt for him the most and that second couple the husband was just as bad if not worse
To think he now has nothing so let’s see how long the mistress stays with a broke, arrogant man with two male children old enough to know how she wrecked their home and how he bullied their mother. This assistant cannot help him like the wife did. His and ger reputations are ruined in the industry and sex does not equate to love for a cheating scumbag.
