    Hello Landerholm,
I am a victim of gunshot incident happened on April 9, 2020. I was shot 6 bullets, one in each leg and 4 in abdomen. I am severely injured and police took me to hospital. I was in comma for 6 days. I have undergone multiple surgeries and got discharged from hospital after 50 days, but still not completely recovered. As the injuries are severe, couple of surgeries are planned after 6 months.
Meanwhile, I am planning to file for U-Visa. Please let me know the chances of getting the visa and how many days it might take to get the visa.

Hello, I just saw your interesting video and I am interested in a police report review because I was a victim of attack in public 20 months ago. I got the case number from the court and the police report case number as well. I wish to apply for the U Visa to resolve my immigration issue here in California. Thanks for this video!

Does a misdemeanor assault which caused physical injuries and also mental problem qualify for U visa?
Because the officer refused to sign the form just because the crime somehow falls under misdemeanor assault and not a felonious assault ?
    I need your advice thanks

    Hello Sir,
    Can you Please help me.
I applied for U-1 visa. We are 2 person on same incident. I filed before 3 months then other person files his case. My Fingerprint was also taken 3 month before he gave his fingerprint. He directedly got his 4 year work permit.
While my lawyer told me to file I-765 and pay $410 USCIS fee. So I did it. But now when I am checking my case status then it shows like " fingerprints relating to your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization on April 2021".
Also other person did not have to pay $410 fee to USCIS and directedly got work permit. While I applied before him and still not get any work permit. So did my lawyer did something wrong or They forgot to fill some forms at first time.
Also How long it will take for mine case to get work permit. Do I have to change my lawyer. Can somebody help me.
