MLB Power Pros Wii probably has the best Season Mode of any game I've played. You can control EVERYTHING, there are so many statistics, and it just never gets old. I still play it sometimes. Success Mode has great replayability as well.
The greatest part about mario sluggers was that you can literally make a team out of any mario character ever, you can play as a goomba or a squid if you really wanted to, you can even put your miis in there. That’s all I really needed as a kid
People play MVP Baseball 2005 to this day, it’s the NFL 2K5 of baseball games. The second greatest baseball game of all time to me is Baseball Advance (2002) for the GBA, I played that game religiously via emulator on PC. It probably also had the forefather of The Show’s PCI, differing in size for each player.
The Ken Griffy Game on N64, back then I had a notebook where I could keep track of all the homeruns from each player. And before the days of systems keeping track of how many hours you played, I kept track of that too... and no joke.... I spent 3211 hours playing that game......played it for years
Dude you’re tripping out if you think that the current MLB The Show games are better than the old ones. MLB 10-13 are not only the best baseball games ever, they’re probably the best sports games ever created period. The pitch speed has been gradually nerfed so bad since 13 that it’s unplayable. Hitting is stupidly easy on the newer games and they’ve taken so much of the cool presentation stuff out as well.
My personal favorite baseball game(s) was MLB Power Pros. The game is extremely unknown for the most part which is sad because it is easily one of the best sports games ever made in my opinion. I still will play it every now and then even though it is 12 years old
Man, MLB 2K9 is the first baseball video game I played as a kid. I made COUNTLESS franchises on them! Such a fun game. I remember I made a franchise where i traded for all the great 1B men in the same season. Mark Teixeira, Prince Fielder, Paul Konerko, Miguel Cabrera, Justin Morneau, Joey Votto, Adrian Gonzalez, Ryan Howard, Albert Pujols, etc. Adam Dunn and Manny Ramirez were always free agents. Clayton Kershaw was SOOO easy to trade for. They wouldnt give you the prospects real names. So Madison Bumgarner was Matt Baker, and Jason Heyward was James Hunter, and David Freese waa Doug Flukin, and Buster Posey was Ben Peck, and Matt Weiters was Mark Weathers, etc. Plus the soundtrack was AMAZING! 2K9 will always have a place in my heart for intrducing me to baseball.
Ok. Let’s get this straight. I know most of yous don’t consider mobile games as video games, but where is MLB Tap Sports and MLB Perfect Inning. I would put tap sports in A tier and perfect inning in C. Come on
I remember playing slugfest at one of my friend's house when I was little and we would just go around punching everyone the whole time. Easily at the top of my baseball videogames list just cuz of those memories
i laughed so hard at the RBI part that was hilarious. i was literally thinking like 3 mins before that part “it’d be funny if he just put all the rbi games in f tier right away”. well done😂
Haha same. 17 and 18 and earlier were horrible. At least for 19 and 20 they're starting to add pitching and batting systems which is respectable, but MLB the Show will always be the best once it comes to Xbox. I only really do franchise on RBI baseball, but even that sucks because free agents never change and there's no draft.
We never got that Mario Super Sluggers video Marc. I know u dont do gaming anymore but I want that Mario baseball. That Mario Superstar Baseball vids was one of my favs on the channel I want the sequel. Great vid btw Marc.
The Bigs 2 for me for sure is S tier the game is still amazing to this day & it has one of my favorite baseball players of all time also y does this tier list not have Super Mega Baseball 1 & 2 at least the 2nd one was amazing I give the 1st a C but the 2nd defiantly an A
If only they released an English version of Pro Yakyuu Spirits (Think of it as a Japanese Baseball version of The Show) Played some of it, and the hitting and animations IMO is better there than in The Show. That being said, MVP Baseball 2005 is the greatest.
MetalCrow448 there is many fantastic games on the wii. Debatably the best 3-d Mario. One of the most played mariokarts that’s still played to this day. Wii Sports Resort really used the motion control well. Many games like pikmin worked better on the wii, and the wii could play GameCube games so it was basically a much better GameCube
Got to give some love to NCAA baseball O6 though! Could be awesome if they revisit that idea and created a way to build your player in college and then move him to the draft in another game
Dude I have so much nostalgia for 2k13. From 2017 through the end of 2019, I played that game pretty much endlessly, because I was broke and couldn't afford a ps4. I will admit, it's glitchy as hell and feels unfinished, but for me, the nostalgia is real.
This guy knows what he is taking about. Backyard Baseball 01 and Mario Superstar Baseball were a big part of my childhood. They deserve to be on S tier. Great video.
Mlb power pros 2007/2008 is a really good obscure baseball franchise that I'm sad never caught on in the states. They have a cute chibi anime caricatures, tons of modes like home run derby, franchise, and create a player. Also, the create a player had an actual storyline other than making it to the bigs. You had to balance school, work, and baseball and maintain relationships eith friends and family, and there are multiple endings too. I think it was ahead of its time and it's still an ongoing seeies in japan.
You forgot MLB Powerpros. That game was soooo good I loved the announcer he was cracked out lmao. Also Xbox one has a game called Super Mega Baseball 1 and 2. They’re actually half decent.
I missed most of those 2K baseball games once the show came out in 2006 I basically stuck with that from then on out, and before that it was MVP baseball and then before that it was MLB 99 and MLB 2000, I knew that high heat existed and the 2K existed in that these games were around but the only time I would play those sort of games was on my Dreamcast or Playstation 1 if I would rent one from Blockbuster I still put MVP 04 and MVP 05 along with the show 06 as three of my favorite baseball games today they still have fun franchise modes and it's cool doing it with the older players but the controls are great and graphics look good
After 2007 if you were a real baseball fan you were ponying up the money for PlayStation 3 to get the best baseball game on the market which is what me and my cousin did. The show at that point had already flown past anything else that 2K made in my opinion
I had 2k 11 on my Nintendo and during our block party I lost it. I thought a friend took it, but now I just keep looking in the vents where we had it last
When you were dragging OOTP to C I was dropping my jaw. I actually think it deserves an S tier because nothing comes close to it in terms of competition and the developers actually listen to those who play the game. The forum is nothing but back and forth between players, testers and the developers. Sure not actually playing sucks but it does have an in game mode which you can control very much of it. You are right that it's not for everyone but those games save me when I'm at the airport/on flights, can play a great game without looking like you are.
MVP Baseball 2005 is my all time favorite!! I loved playing with the minor league teams!! If you really want to go back Intellivision II Baseball, and the original Nintendo R.B.I were great!! I also enjoyed MLB 2K06!!
My favorite part of MVP Baseball is how you control how angry your manager can get with calls. You have the power to get your manager thrown out of the game.
So funny story... one of the first games I had for ps2 was MLB mvp 2004... and since the player was from the cardinals... from there on I went to become a cards fan cause at the time... player is from said team, that team must be best team 🤣🤣(my though process at the time)... a separate funny story... I searched the cover again for the game... swear that I thought It was Jim Edmonds on the cover... it was Albert Pujols... I just had a moment of realization
Several games left off this list. MLB power pros, Slugfest 2004 and Slugfest Loaded, and one of my all time favorites, Ken Griffey Jr’s Slugfest, just to name a few
MLB Power Pros, both the original and 2008, are GREAT games. They have different modes where you can control basically everything, and they have A LOT of stats for everything. Success mode (specially on the first title) is awesome, plus the 2008 one has the MLB Life mode. Plus they have available for purchase many different pitching and batting styles, alternate and practice uniforms from every team, some fantasy stadiums with their own singularity, and a collection of baseball cards from the players of every team in those years, with some info about these players (info also about every team and every stadium). Highly underrated games, no doubt.
MLB 2005 was the last baseball game I really played until OOTP 19. Fantastic game - spent days and days on it. Still remember hitting a home run with David Wells one day :'D
Mario Super Sluggers is S tier
Rest doesn’t matter
I’m dying 😂
That’s a true fact though
no higher 😂😤
Yup. The motion controls were actually reasonable for that game.
The gamecube one slaps too
Bro FAX
Best Quote Ever “I texted him where the f**k did you put my game, and i ended up texting that to my mom and she wasn’t happy”

My favorite baseball game ever is PowerPros 2008. I’ve had it for my DS for probably 10 years. I’ve played it hundreds of hours and it never gets old
I had this game on PS2 and it's easily S tier
Rxmstrk for sure
power pros is solid, but the game it copied, rbi baseball, is the best. or baseball simulator 1.000
Most underrated slept on video game ever
I still play power pros on my Wii. Why is it not on this list?! Best baseball game ever.
Anyone remember playing MLB Power Pros? I loved playing those games when I was a kid.
S tier 100%
S tier. Best baseball video game ever.
MLB Power Pros Wii probably has the best Season Mode of any game I've played. You can control EVERYTHING, there are so many statistics, and it just never gets old. I still play it sometimes. Success Mode has great replayability as well.
Anyone who's played it knows it's one of the best games of all time
That is the best game of all time! This list disrespected it
The greatest part about mario sluggers was that you can literally make a team out of any mario character ever, you can play as a goomba or a squid if you really wanted to, you can even put your miis in there. That’s all I really needed as a kid
ErR0r 4554 and power ups . and the story mode was fie
I better see Mario Super Sluggers on the S tier
Edit: A tier's ok i guess
Am I the only one that played Little League World Series in 2010
NICK_plays super underrated series
NICK_plays that game was the shit

soccer rules Forever love that!
soccer rules Forever, SAME!!!
2K 13 into K10 are the only MLB games I've ever played and to this day I still play 2K 13 it's such a good game in my opinion
As a Xbox player I always hoped that 2k would comeback
Fair go I would have to agree I was sad when I heard a 2K stop making MLB games
Let’s be happy that MLB the Show is coming to Xbox next year
2k13 got me into mlb games and I played that game for three years until I got a ps4 and got mlb 16 in 2016
@TheTyler Bros. Mlb 2k13 was the loml
MVP Baseball’s mechanics were so smooth. 2005 still holds up today in everything but graphics.
And features. Waaay more classic stadiums than Show not to mention create a ballpark.
Amazing game!
They should make a new Mario Baseball ⚾️ game for the Switch.
"...Born in 96". Damn you are younger than possibly my favorite baseball game, World Series Baseball - I think it was the first with 6 divisions.
Yea, author missed out on a lot of great baseball games, I love late 80s to early-mid 90s games.
Where is nicktoons mlb? That game was goated.
VeryOaty 89 oh yeah I remember that game
MLB Power Pros should have been on here!
All the 90s baseball games were part of my childhood. The Ken Griffrey Jr N64 game will always have a special place in my heart.
Best baseball game ever
Where's MLB Power Pros?:(
Those games were so fun I wish they continued! :(
WHERE IS JALECO!? FROM THE ORIGINAL NES
And RBI Baseball 1-3 on the NES
LOVE the Bases Loaded Series
Who remembers MLB Power pros... sheesh banger
Slugfest loaded is the best one for sure. First baseball game I played as a kid and it’s my favorite to this day.
The Ken Griffy Game on N64, back then I had a notebook where I could keep track of all the homeruns from each player. And before the days of systems keeping track of how many hours you played, I kept track of that too... and no joke.... I spent 3211 hours playing that game......played it for years
An MVP Baseball 2005 remaster would be legendary. Why did they stop making this game????
Contract I believe
Wii Sports deserves S imo, I’ve played it for 8 years and it’s never gotten old.
This is so accurate good job Marc
Dude you’re tripping out if you think that the current MLB The Show games are better than the old ones. MLB 10-13 are not only the best baseball games ever, they’re probably the best sports games ever created period. The pitch speed has been gradually nerfed so bad since 13 that it’s unplayable. Haven't watched the video yet, but as a huge MLB fan and huge Nintendo fan, my heart is so happy Mario Baseball made the thumbnail :)
the fact that powerpros isn’t on here is disgraceful best baseball video game of all time can’t even debate it
Wii sports is S tier for me. So many memories...
Bro one of my favorite baseball games still to this day is Little League World Series 2009 and it's wasn't even on the list
Mikey Modugno agreed
That game is legendary
My personal favorite baseball game(s) was MLB Power Pros. The game is extremely unknown for the most part which is sad because it is easily one of the best sports games ever made in my opinion. I still will play it every now and then even though it is 12 years old

fuck that. the first one is the best baseball game of all time. the new ones are ass
Did you ever play the Super Mega Baseball Series? The best experience with a baseball game i ever had. You can even install full MLB Rosters (on PC).
Marc: Puts WII SPORTS in C tier
Me being in wii sports gang: Why?
Are we gonna talk about how this dude put ken griffey Jr baseball in C
Yeah really! Game is legendary.
We never got that Mario Super Sluggers video Marc. I know u dont do gaming anymore but I want that Mario baseball. That Mario Superstar Baseball vids was one of my favs on the channel I want the sequel. Great vid btw Marc.
MLB Power Pros = S Tier
I'm so glad that you put mvp baseball in S tier🙌. The game was literally my childhoods
Bruh, in defense of Ken Griffey on the SNES, i beat the entire 162 game campaign and in my humble opinion, it does still hold up
MVP Baseball 2005 PC and MLB 2K12 PC with mods on MVP Mods website. Where does The Show 19 go?
Mario Super Sluggers and MLB Power Pros are S tier...nuff said
The Bigs 2 for me for sure is S tier the game is still amazing to this day & it has one of my favorite baseball players of all time also y does this tier list not have Super Mega Baseball 1 & 2 at least the 2nd one was amazing I give the 1st a C but the 2nd defiantly an A
Exactly! where was Super mega baseball on this list, at least an B tier game. And an A tier IMO
I love the bigs 2
super mega baseball 3 is S, 2 is A, 1 is C at best
Therealking69 sounds like I need 2 get SMB3 then lol
MLB PowerPros 07 and 08 were the 2 best games hands down
If only they released an English version of Pro Yakyuu Spirits (Think of it as a Japanese Baseball version of The Show)
Played some of it, and the hitting and animations IMO is better there than in The Show.
That being said, MVP Baseball 2005 is the greatest.
Best team announcers tier list
Power Pros people where you at???
Sluggers is underrated and Superstar is amazing. I also am really surprised you just said the Wii is a bad console.
MetalCrow448 you’re actually dumb.
MetalCrow448 I don’t know it was the most sold console ever something had to be good about it
MetalCrow448 you realize every console in that generation had motion controls right?
You should do baseball movies tier list
Surprised the MLB Power Pros games weren't on here. Those games were bangers!
You left off MLB Power Pros from 2007
2008 version was better
Where’s mlb power pros?
Backyard baseball 2001 was dope. I had several 200 plus runs games that took days to finish. Haha
I only have The Show19 and 17 and in my opinion they are awesome
Where is mlb power pros???
Mlb power pros 2007/2008 is a really good obscure baseball franchise that I'm sad never caught on in the states. I would have put 2k7 in the A column
What about MLB Power Pros? I LOVED that game as a kid!!!
mvp baseball 2004 is my favorite baseball game ever. played that for so many hours as a kid on my gamecube. still play it today over 15 years later.
i really enjoyed 2k 10 well does not have the same place in my heart
Super Mega Baseball 2 > literally anything else
MLB power pros 2008 is the best sports game ever made
Put MVP 06 NCAA Baseball in the thumbnail but didnt even mention it?? That game is S tier
You forgot MLB Powerpros. That game was soooo good I loved the announcer he was cracked out lmao. Also Xbox one has a game called Super Mega Baseball 1 and 2. They’re actually half decent.
my all time favourites are 2k10 and the show 08 with Ryan Howard on the cover
excellent selections. Both of them.
I missed most of those 2K baseball games once the show came out in 2006 I basically stuck with that from then on out, and before that it was MVP baseball and then before that it was MLB 99 and MLB 2000, I knew that high heat existed and the 2K existed in that these games were around but the only time I would play those sort of games was on my Dreamcast or Playstation 1 if I would rent one from Blockbuster I still put MVP 04 and MVP 05 along with the show 06 as three of my favorite baseball games today they still have fun franchise modes and it's cool doing it with the older players but the controls are great and graphics look good
Also... Ca..Ca... Call me junior !... its showtime !!!!
Where is MLB power pros
Love your vids. Keep it up!
Great video Marc! Props to you for cranking out awesome content during the MLB hiatus!
After 2007 if you were a real baseball fan you were ponying up the money for PlayStation 3 to get the best baseball game on the market which is what me and my cousin did. The show at that point had already flown past anything else that 2K made in my opinion
MLB power pros was the best in my opinion
I had 2k 11 on my Nintendo and during our block party I lost it. I thought a friend took it, but now I just keep looking in the vents where we had it last
Who else wishes they can just charge the mind in the show and argue with umpires
Does anyone remember MLB Power Pros?
Nah MVP Baseball 2005 is forsure the best no doubt.
I have an xbox and I played RBI Baseball 18 twice and haven't touched it since. I can't wait until MLB The Show is multi-platform
Only clicked to make sure backyard baseball was S tier.
You keep a sub this time sir.
Same
Ncaa baseball 07 was a great game! The sound of the metal bats was epic!
MVP Baseball 2005 is my all time favorite!! I loved playing with the minor league teams!! If you really want to go back Intellivision II Baseball, and the original Nintendo R.B.I were great!! I also enjoyed MLB 2K06!!
Little league World Series and power pros are both s tear
Literally love MVP baseball 04
My favorite part of MVP Baseball is how you control how angry your manager can get with calls. You have the power to get your manager thrown out of the game.
If mario super sluggers isn’t top tier i’m going to be FURIOUS
I loved high heat.. horrible graphics but might be the best ever at recreating a realistic game.
ESPN MLB 2K5 is my favorite along with the OG MLB the Show on PSP with Vlad Guerrero on the cover.
Try super mega baseball 2 on the switch. Its anazing
It’s funny, I’m only 17 and I remember playing hours and hours of the original Backyard Baseball as a kid too! Those were the days
Backyard Baseball was the absolute GREATEST, after MVP baseball 05 of course
So funny story... one of the first games I had for ps2 was MLB mvp 2004... and since the player was from the cardinals... from there on I went to become a cards fan cause at the time... player is from said team, that team must be best team 🤣🤣(my though process at the time)... a separate funny story... I searched the cover again for the game... swear that I thought It was Jim Edmonds on the cover... it was Albert Pujols... I just had a moment of realization
Ironically Jim Edmonds Was On The Cover Of MLB Slugfest 20-04
Saw you on Gallo's stream!
Also do a vid on the best players from different colleges
All Star Baseball 2000 for N64 was my first game and it was great. The graphics for the time were incredible.
What about the MVP NCAA baseball games?
MLB 2005 was the last baseball game I really played until OOTP 19. Fantastic game - spent days and days on it. Still remember hitting a home run with David Wells one day :'D
