I'm 66. I got invited to church by a classmate at age 12 in 6th grade. Had never been in a church. Those Words! The Beatitudes were like what the French call un "coup de foudre". A thunderbolt. Love at first sight. It was the Jesus movement and I had no idea. I began singing Scripture songs that began in my heart. I didn't know there was such a thing as Christian music. I have lost so much in this life. Heaven is so much sweeter today than it ever seemed to me before. Jesus is my Friend.
I lost my place, my girl and I broke up, and I was in deep pain from my friends betraying me. I started fasting and I only played this song for 4 days. I rededicated and surrendered my life to Jesus. It was through this video God spoke to me the most. I’ll never be the same. Yes I lost everything, but I gained so much more!!!!!

I grew up in the streets, the streets raised me and made me a gangster, I was a blood, I sold dope. Been in shoot outs, fights, in and out of jail since age 17, I robbed people and got robbed. I was a drunkard, fornicator, I use to club and pop pills, but i had a encounter with JESUS while in jail facing 5-10 years.. and JESUS made me over again at age 23.. 6yrs later hallelujah I'm still free and born again, JESUS a mighty deliverer bless his Holy name

What i have done many times is get directly on face in prayer and let Him take all the burdens, stress, fear, pain, hopelessness and anything else that might be weighing you down and He will take it off and give you peace. Some advice from someone who's been living it for over 30 years and made plenty of mistakes: Please read the Bible, New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs. Ask God to help you understand it. People will disappoint you on your journey, but God will never stop loving you. Never choose to do something the opposite of what the Bible says and you will never go wrong. Disobedience to the Word only brings destruction. "Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING in prayer and with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God and God's peace that passes undertanding will guard your heart and mind. (Phil 4:6-7) The enemy will try to tell you God doesn't love you if your prayers are not answered in your time frame. God's timing is not the same as ours. He has a much bigger perspective. He knows everything about our lives. If you can't hear his voice WAIT...if you feel no peace about something, it usually means "no" or "wait".
This lockdown had really changed everything, it's like God saviour is giving us another chance, the world environment is clean , animals are coming back , flowers and tree are blooming, and left us we humans, this lockdown is mainly for us to know God more , give your time to him , talk to him whatever we have problems,pain, and struggle, this is the time no more excuses... This song has been on repeat on my phone for over a month now as it helps my heart calm down from anxiety and panic i would feel from thinking alot because of what is happenibgvin my life.i lost my job beginning of march, my boyfriend decided he needed he space from me.I just felt lost, alone and depressed until slowly I started imensing myself in God's word and worship...
