    Thank you for sharing. Beside the goosebumps the solo and /outro is reminding back in the days of " throw away your television " - good that John is back 😍

    Oh my god. At beginning of UL tour John was for me less creative and he was playing little bit boring to me. But now I know why I love his playing so much. Oh my god...♡

      yea, he is getting his footing back. He hadn't played w/them in 15 yrs. before this tour. I was at the first show and it was not the John Frusciante I grew up with but he's getting there.

      Disagree. The set lists back in Europe were way more better with bigger songs and more of different songs being played👍 I seen them in Manchester and London, just seen them in Brisbane next in sydney. Hoping for something a little more than brisbane. But like I said much better in Europe IMO

    I’ve listened to pretty much all of the new chilli peppers songs unfortunately none of them really are my cup of tea besides black summer however Eddie has to be one of THE BEST chilli pepper songs I have ever heard
    On the release day of this song I listened to it about 20 times and since I heard it every day I kept saying to myself they have to play this song
    Soon as I heard the intro and I knew it was not by the way I was in shock and as soon as the first chorus started I bursted into tears for the first time ever music has had that effect on me
    Eddie van halen was and still is one off biggest influences as a guitarist and these guys made the most soulful tribute to him
    10/10 show would see these guys again in a heart beat

    Honestly remember back in the day. As we age we can’t be what we used to be. This RHCP sounds nothing like before 2000. When I heard Uplift Mofo Party Plan it blew my mind. It’s not fair for me to expect that from them anymore. Listen to that album and compare. I think only a few recent tunes even get close to that. I guess this is me grieving the relentless advance of time.

    • @Goatlover1027
      @Goatlover1027 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@idknah It's all personal preference! I just think his 1961 Shell Pink Jazz Bass sounds better. He used it for most of their studio albums since Stadium Arcadium (someone correct me if I'm wrong). He started touring with the active jazz bass a few years back and I think it sounds washed out and has poor tone.
      AKA I think Flea sounds more like Flea when he's using his 1961 jazz bass.

      Amen, friend! Hate to crap on other people's jam, but they never would've made it out the clubs with this slow, boring crap & one of the worst "singers" ever! RHCP is "Stone Cold Bush"!!! Not this boring horseshit! Just stuck my head in here hoping some how, some way to find a trace of their former greatness before Anthony fancied himself a gd singer! SMGDMFH! To each their own!
