  • FSEconomy is a persistent online universe that generates passengers and cargo for you to fly in FSX, P3D, X-Plane, or MSFS. In this video I walk you through buying, managing, and selling an F.B.O. It's a pretty complex topic in the FSE world, so don't jump into it without learning all about how to buy or build one, how much it costs to operate, and how to make money.

    Is there a way to increase the amount of assignments its generates, just got a medium airport, I own both sides and it crates 10-12 assignments now

      I dont think you can directly. I am not sure but I think that the number of assignments generated increases with the number of takeoffs and landings at an airport.

    I am 8 months too late, but what is the largest plane you can have in FSEconomy? I assume, I can't fly my 747-200B...

      I dont know the largest jet available. Some airliners are listed. There is a full list of allowed aircraft in the FSEconomy menu. Have a look through there....

    If I rent a terminal and generate jobs. Who gets the ground crew fees? The FBO owner or me the terminal renter?

    • @CaptNabs
      @CaptNabs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that the FBO owner still gets the ground crew fees. I will try some experiments and get back to you, because I am not really very sure.

      @@CaptNabs probably but I think the terminal renter should get some otherwise the only benefit is to direct jobs to airports you want.

    Seems almost pointless to have a FBO with those prices. And not enough options to build more FBO and airplanes

      It is a lot of money, that's true. Others have decided its worthwhile but I agree it is a lot. You have to have a popular airport and a long time scale to see a return on investment. So if its too much, skip it. Buy some airplanes. They are probably an easier ROI.

      @@CaptNabs even that’s pretty expensive which I get( realism). The system needs more aircraft available for rent/buy. (Not private sale/rental. I’ve just started on the FSE so I’m late to the party. Game needs more airplanes

      New airplanes get added to the system periodically. And there are mechanisms to recover unused airplanes. If someone doesnt pay their airplane fees for 2 years, the airplane is repossessed by the bank.
      At the end of the day, you will have to do some grunt work to get into the game. I do. You can choose your path but it will take time and effort. I recently got it into my head to buy a new airplane. I have flown dozens and dozens of flights to earn money and am 90% there. Enjoy the experience. Its a great way to visit airports you would never go to otherwise.
      I tend to search for airplanes I like to fly in the airport search field. Right now I like the Citations CJ4 and Longitude. I click rentable and search worldwide, then look at the airports for lucrative contracts and low rental cost planes. Beware the distance fee. It can ruin your profitability, but moving an airplane towards home can make a marginal trip extra profitable.
