I think that you did I good high end review, but with way to many legendaries.
I’ve been playing this game for 3 years and I’m still a newbie I do it because it’s fun.. but I’ve spent money and I seem to be stuck. There’s no way with my team I don’t have the right champions clearly I’m lost
So what I learned from this video is that if you don't have very specific champions, then there's no way to cover all these rolls you need. I am a very low spender and admittedly more of a casual raid player. I would still like to be able to put together a team so I can get mithralla. Guess in two more years of playing .. I might have some of these champions ...
Funny, that's what I learned, too. This is one of the things that drives me crazy about Raid content creators. They give some decent guidelines, then reach into their box of every OP champion they have and Badabing no more hydra problem. I would have liked an early example with junk champions that all of us F2P peeps get.

Deliana can be a very good option for block buffs and leech. If you can manage to get her in cursed gear with good stats, no need to bring a hex champ.
Underrated champ. Tanky, gets More Acc the More hp you build. Cursed/Retaliation with revenge accessories is a Good combo
Hits reasonably well as her damage scales with hp

I've been experimenting with my champions to find a Hydra team and this video gave the concise information for the roles that I was needing. TY for the video. Appreciate the breakdown/strategy. Would love to see a simple video of 6 rares that max out Normal with Stats, Hard (Epics only), Brutal (1/2 Epics), etc. I would assume the video would get a ton of views because many even beginners could/should be able to max out normal to get Mithrala.

Unfortunatly it "only" told things I heard many timers before (if others haven't watched as many Hydra vids as I have this is a very good roundup of all the roles you need for that fight). And even if I watched more than a dozen vids on this topic from different CC's I'm still not able to build a Hydra team which brings down Normal reliably! What I am missing is: What kind of stats do you need to bring to the different difficulties? How much speed, HP and maybe def do you need AT LEAST to each difficulty so that your team can do it's job and doesn't die?!? Acc and Res values I can get from the HH stage tool, but those other numbers.... I even rebuild a team Nub had a video on (and only replaced the Mischief tank) with which he 1 keyed brutal Hydra (if I remember correctly) and my team didn't survived Normal! So I guess it must be because of the survivability.... Or maybe I'm just too dumb for this boss.....
Tuhanarak is a mvp for hydra. I spread the hp burn from Sicia and Crypt King Graal if they don't land them on every head. I just pulled Khoronar this past weekend. Gonna be building him during CvC for Hydra. I put him in a provoke set for even more control.
Great guide. I would mention Elva and Geomancer as great hydra champs even on nightmare.

cool video. unfortunately for me, i can't keep Royal Guard and Husk alive for brutal, so maybe building out Lady Kimi and Tuhanarak will help, though my biggest problem is not gettin enough damage.

Thanks. Shared some of the epics as well. Not much else left as good support and stuff in game. Wish they would be some but they are none
i dont think my issue is picking teams/making teams.. i think my issue is that i struggle with really knowing the hydra heads. which heads to prioritize attacking, or which one to provoke.. which one to avoid.. etc. stuff like that. (and missing the top tier champs for hydra) so thankyou for this, this video helps a ton.
great video very helpful but may i ask how do you start to build some champs to progress into brutal and maybe nightmare as i can 1 key ahrd but struggle keeping many alive into brutal and even hard sometimes so not sure what im doing too rong or how to build them, thanks

Hydra needs a mechanic or visual indicator which shows which head is going next. The amount of times you have to guess or assume X head will go before X head because they all have a 100% TM visual isnt fun. Can cause so many problems.
Michinaki is crazy for Hydra, pulled one during 10x and recently got the guaranteed, currently building the 2nd one.
Just built mine today cant wait to use him on my nightmare team
I use Warchief as my provoker.
3 turn provoke duration on a 3 turn cooldown with a passive reflect and a buff strip on the A2 just in case I need to strip something off of decay.
Yep he is great for that

What if you use gurptuk moss beard with marichka so marichka can cleanse those poisons and increase everyone's resistance every time so you don't need to wait for debuffs to increase everyone's resistance
I actually like umbral the best for block buffs. No weak hits and 3 turns on a 3 turn cool down. The A3 needs to be turned off
I wonder why Geomancer was not mentioned. One of the best dmg dealer on on hydra, and has some utility too (buff strip from one target, aoe decrease accuracy)
So ideal budget hydra team for me looks like these 4 epics: Geo, Husk, Royal guard, Uugo plus two supports on current rotation I use Ukko and Visix. So this setup brought me 67mill dmg on 4th hydra this week. On other rotation supports can be Siphi plus Shamrock.
And yes if you have relentless gear put your dmg dealers in it. It will help a LOT.

Nekmo Thar was a guaranteed champion 1 year ago for 150 Blue shards, I picked him up while many said he was ok but nothing crazy, ... and now I see HH saying it's one of his most wanted non Void leggo with Hurndig xD
It was actually 15 sacreds right after a 1+1 event
@@OBV-DOME I must have remembered it wrong. in any case then I was lucky enough to save those 15 shards and didn't fall for the 1+1. I prefered guaranteed champions because I don't have the luxury to roll the dice that much on my shards if I want to progress. The 150 blue shard probably was Ragash then.
I am 4 yrs in. Lol 100, & can make one solid team. I've pulled almost nithing but duplicates of login & fusion champions in that time. Not f2p, high power & probably gonna quit new years. Thanks scratch for all the content. I got my double maneater unkillable from your channel.

@SkratchPlays oh I have 3 uugo, 3 shamael, plenty of duplicates, but after 4 yrs come November, not kymar, duchess, kantra, ma shallad, any new damage dealer. Only voids, arbiterx2, visix, anniex2, lydia,belanor, krisk,vlad,tormin,yakaarl,emic,s. Elhain, mithrala, raglin, leorius.
With the change to destroying max hp with every heal, doom priest & aniri can be counterproductive as well as regen, immortal gear. Scratch? Do you speed tune your team's? I kind of do, nit like clan boss but 6 champions after a while with the mischief head makes it kinda hard
Yeah I speed tune them, you need to have order over chaos haha

I don't have a single block debuffs champ built on my account since i couldn't get Brogni. I tried really hard but the arena event was impossible in the lower teirs. The poisons wreck my team especially since Arbiter always out runs all the buffs and becomes a target. I think I pulled a MM or else i might build a Seducer.
Do you at least have a cleanser??
@garpnewgate yeah i have mithrala but i think it throws out poison twice in a row so I cleanse and get hit again. Resistance or block debuffs seems the better option.
None of those in the first group give heals. How do you keep your team alive?

Hi, potentially yes. the only problem is he doesn't do much dmg. But can be used if you have nothing else better.
the set provoke is better than any champ.and don´t need acc.

This are just a few examples brother, the main thing was to focus on what you need rather than the champion so you can go to your account and look at the champs you have and try to thick as many boxes

I've been playing for a year now and only have a few of the champions you have lol. Theres no way for me to do the hydra.
Maybe you can categorize important skill sets, then list all champions for each category. Most of champions you show, I do not have them.

Maybe at the beginning listing the Skills/categories that need to be covered, then go over each grouping as you did, with chapter divisions in the video to make it easy for folks to quickly get to the section they're wishing to work on.

Don't focus on the champs, focus on the mechanics and what you need from champs to get the job done.
I'm not that would be pointless at the start of Hydra (especially Mithrala). I can look at Deacon or High Khaton, Jizoh, Gnarlhorn, Scyl... But the rooster you've been showing made my heart sink a lil 😅

I have different guides, you should not focus on the name of the champions though. You should focus on what they do instead to get the recipe!
All videos, on all channels, everything is the same... If only someone showed how to kill the hydra with rare heroes. For example, I have no legendary heroes and only 4 epic ones.
You are not ready for Hydra if you only have 4 epics brother. Focus on something else and develop your account! Hydra is end game not early game.
@@SkratchPlays I have 17 rare 60 heroes, I can't do anything, but when using shards, I just don't get higher grade heroes.
So basically be a whale or have super endgame champs as f2p. Rip.
They are not many epics that can replace the important support roles, I missed prob a couple epics but look at their kits rather than names. This was a recipe to help you build a team, I didn't served the cake ready cooked. But I'll be honest Hydra it's endgame if you are mid game just do whatever you can on Normal difficulty to get Mithrala and work on your teams once you develop your account.
Love your channel....do not love your Dhukk choice as provoker. He is not a viable option for provoke in hydra due to affinity, not sure why you would suggest a champ that just does not work for the role you suggested. Wasted alot of time & resources maxing this champ only to find his is a HORRIBLE choice, why on earth would you suggest this? Unless of course content creators get some kind of crazy buff that allows them to land provoke on weak hits. Dude really, stop this, people waste time and resources building champs that YOU suggest and when they don't work its not kewl. It is not a gearing issues, it is a does not work under any circumstances issues. (affinity breaker is not a viable option, please do not mention it, everyone knows the provoke can not be conditional)

From beginner 😂, NO beginner has that amount of champs in 6* lvl 60 fully ascended and booked. Not even my main account have half that.
