He's a great figure. Wonder if they'll use this mold for an Airtight figure, Toxo Viper, or even one of the Eco Warriors. A gas mask always raises the cool factor.

Awesome review! Just want to point out that Has'bruh done put one of them thar' secrets on that thar' figure that thus far, no one has pointed out or exploited. They slapped on a layer of phosphorous paint on the crystals, the goggles and the lantern (that purple stuff). So...they GLOW in the dark!
Can't wait to get mine now. Which will be....whenever Walmart decides it's a good day to ship.

He is wearing a Hazmat Drysuit, the collar is for a closed circuit diving helmet. We use these for contaminated water search and rescue. Eg looking for shit in shit.

I feel like the Tele-Vipers and the Molerats probably hang out. They do all of Cobra's support work and get none of the glory. I am so happy I pre-ordered these, and can't wait to get them in hand!

Well, found one today and snagged him.
Biggest "meh" right out of the box.
Until...I had an idea...
Grabbed a broken rock out of the garden...painted purplish-pink "veins" onto the rough side....hot glued a Transformers RED blast effect onto the rock...placed the Rat kneeling behind the rock, posed as if rearing back.
The idea being that he's the first poor bastard to successfully drill into the energon deposit just to discover how volatile the shit is. (If hasbro won't give us a story/filecard, I'll make up my own (based on accessories and box art)).
Sometimes pose and presentation makes the figure.

FR on the gooey guns. Like the sculpts have gotten better/more realistic but half the time I feel like I need to upgrade to a Gridiron option or something. Only downside (aside from some of the headsculpts) of recent releases.
Great review of a very cool figure. Youre right that the weapons are gooey and the tubes that are really stiff instead of gooey. Frustrating lol. But great figure

Like you said, this dude should not even exit but they made him and he looks pretty cool with the gas mask and im gonna do something with that drill not sure what!?.... idk if i mention this but when you get Helix i hope you compare her in the latest marvel legend Black Widow with the 3 head sculpt, im pretty sure the head sculpt with the short hair in her face is the exact same head sculpt of Helix!?

Apparently he does sorta it is fluorescent paint on the lantern, head crystals and goggle lens.
Try to shine it with the UV light, they shine the effect in green colour, not purple.
