This is really handy. I normally connect my phone to my PC by cable to download my pictures but I do know of family members that their phone refuses to connect via cable. Plus you have to have the cable with you to do it. So I'm going to start using this service. Thanks Brian, as always very informative.

Your presentation is perfect, detailed in every step and so everyone can do the procedure easily! The issue is that the transfer speed is too slow, so I will stick to transferring files via cable. It is much faster, you save a lot of time for transferring files, especially for video files! Anyway, thank you for this perfect presentation, you just gained a subscriber to your channel, I have already recommended it to several of my friends!

This is great for those who like to do things without wires or a physical connection. Personally call me old fashioned but I still prefer connecting my phone directly to the pc, I still move, copy or transfer files in this manor. But this is still cool and could be useful for on the methods. As a rule of thumb for me is I do not trust wireless connections or apps, but I did get a wireless printer to try out. Even though it is working nicely I am still skeptical and cautious.
    Thanks for this video.

Easy way for me is to use one of the so many Google email accounts I have and drop files into the google drive (15GB limit per account)
Then share the folder with that person and he will see the content even if you add fresh content to it over time he still see all changes using the same link.
If for some reason I need more space for a bigger file I send another account with the rest of information or delete the old files once he finish downloading.
No need to install anything on both end but you do need to zip files under password to prevent antiviruses or copyright protections to interfere with the file transactions.
So now is easy as saying to my friend "check the share folder for the new files, password same as usual..."

Needs atleast 3 device, a wifi router or hotspot where the target pc and phone connects to so that the sharing can happen. What good is that for someone who use phone hotspot as wifi for pc. So sharing doesn't happen between two devices here. If i on mobile hotspot and connect pc and try to share then nearbyshare prompt me that it will close the hotspot. So no use here.
If anyone did successfully manage to transfer files between a phone and pc without being connected to external wifi then do tell me the method.
