The more I watch this clip/episode, the more I'm convinced that this was episode where the producers saw the chemistry between Tad and Dixie and decided to have them be more involved with each other.

I wonder if this scene on the park bench is when the writers decided to put Tad & Dixie together as a couple.
Makes you wonder. The chicken fingers on the park bench became a T&D staple, brought back up over and over again, and it all started with this moment.
