The saying goes; When home we always dream of being away, But when away we dream of home. Both are important, And it's finding your own balance. Don't neglect home though... Or you'll only be happy on the move. Rest, relaxation, recoup... And travel ☺ 👍🏻
I really enjoyed this, Adam. I was a flight attendant for 38 years. Turbulence going into Santo Domingo made me think I would get on a cruise ship to get back to Miami
The Fountain at Detroit Metro Airport was created by Water Entertainment Technology wich was founded by former Disney Imagineers . The Tram at Detroit Airport uses the same system as the Train at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Always enjoy your travel days Adam, love the way you always manage to entertain yourself lol, best line when flying seats in the upright position to prepare for landing, yes and then jumping in your own bed nothing better
Loved your video yesterday from the Henry Ford museum. I moved to Florida from Michigan in 1991. Last at that museum wow maybe 1985! Welcome home. Beefy King time!
Thank you Adam for visiting! Im going to shout out all of the cities you were in. Romulus (the airport), Taylor (the Gateway bridge), Allen Park (the Uniroyal Tire), Dearborn (The Henry Ford Museum), Detroit (Belle Isle), Hamtramck (Hamtramck Disneyland) ... I think I got them all 😂 Oh and stupid Metro Detroit gas stations! They do this late at night or in the early morning. They set the pumps that you have to go inside to prepay before you pump. If you're doing a fill up, you just have to let them know that and they turn the pump on. Pain in the rear. But I'm so happy that you were able to make a trip here! There are sooooo many other locations that you missed. Hopefully we will see you again soon ❤
Adam I travel a ton. Was just in your “neck of the woods” in MCO at the hotel. Nothing like sleeping in your own bed. I know all too well. I am home less than 12 days a month. Great videos and you are one of my favorite TH-cam vloggers!
I once ordered 30 timbits (donut holes) from a Tim Hortons drive thru and the girl said they don't have 30 in a size, only 10 and 20. I stared at that speaker for what felt like 5 minutes.
I haven’t flown since before 9/11, and there are times when I miss it. Even though flying can be stressful, there’s something almost magical about it. The excitement of going somewhere else, and the comfort of coming home. Maybe I’ll have a reason to fly again one of these days.
Adam, I experienced a rough flight coming home from Phoenix back in 1984 on braniff to DFW. Really enjoyed your awesome flight home video! I bet you're glad to be home now. I love your flight videos! Looking forward to your next vlog. YOU ROCK!
I've been flying since 2012 to my brother's every year, sometimes twice a year. Always flew Southwest. My last flight was the worst turbulence I ever experienced. I even cried. My son was also there so I had to act like everything was ok. I promised if we landed, I'd never fly again. Still haven't flown since 2021. Glad you made it safely.
You've not experienced turbulence until you're in a Beech 1900D (19 seat turbo prop) getting tossed around in the clouds so hard it looses a generator and you, as a passenger, witness all the electronics in the cockpit go out. West Palm Beach to Nassau. Had to tighten my belt on that one as I kept lifting off of my seat. I was also the only passenger. Neat flight all in.
So happy you can go home and rest! Really important! Hoping you come back soon to see some of the nice areas of my state. Up north is so so different than the Detroit metro area.
Love how you say,you need a hot beverage. Love the videos and I loved the Detroit airport never been so thank you. I’m not a good flyer! Welcome home and rest well in your own bed! Love the shirts Adam
Adam next time your in Dearborn check out Greenfield Village if you liked Fords Museum you will love the village he built. Wright Bros bicycle shop, Edisons Menlow part lab where the lightbulb was invented. Building are the real ones dismantled by Ford to preserve the history. Model Ts driving around. Old time baseball games being played.
Not much comes to mind to comment here except really enjoy your vids. Your travel vids are my favourite. Thanx for sharing your adventures with us. Totally love your camera work....The angles...The attention to detail....You'd make a splendid cinematographer and director. Anyway - glad you made it home okay. Until the next one, Take Care, my friend.
Whoo, that was a thrilling flight!, lol. Coming in for landing didnt seem bad though, and at 21:30 is right over Cranes Roost where I stayed for a bit a while back, it was a really nice place back then, and Iʻve walked that loop around that body of water numerous times. It was a shock to see a video of that area the day after the Hurricane. Mahalo for continuing to take us along on your travels
Glad you got home safe. Our flight from Baltimore to Orlando was delayed almost 7 hours when we went to Disney last month due to storms and backlogs in Orlando.
Adam, I am envious of your lifestyle because I would love to get to travel around perpetually but I wouldn't want thousands of people to see what I'm doing and where I am everyday so I am not jealous of that aspect.
Adam you are leaving Detroit boarding a plane ✈️ heading one way to a piping hot state they call Florida where you have landed 🛬 safely now it’s great to see you home once again in Orlando and now I hope you get some rest or should I say some down time or what ever you choose to do and I look forward to some good old Orlando content and please try not to get to piping hot while your there before you leave on you next adventure now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next awesome vlog adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
You inspire me to travel alone and see and do things I always like what you do so I can be like you also so I love all your adventures I’m scared of rentals cars 🚘 ❤gas pumps 😂😂😂
Well, that figures. I lived in detroit in 2022 for one year. When I moved out of detroit, you come over. I lived on the east side. Next to the river. Detroit still has a lot of work to do. It's still in a recession.
That's so funny because the minute you got off the bus and the camera panned over all of the cars all I could think about was train planes and Automobiles and then you said it great minds think alike
Wow, when you were looking at your flight tracker you zoomed in on Cincinnati, Oh. Just to the North of that is Dayton ,Oh. I was born and raised there. I now live just to the West of Dayton in a town called New Lebanon. I might've heard your plane go by!
His van and RV were years ago. Times have changed. Adam said it himself that he is a very private person. But sometimes Adam shows where he is staying and sometimes he doesn't.
If you grow your follower base enough, you’re bound to end up with at least one person trying to track you down. I wouldn’t want to share hotel or car until they weren’t attached to me anymore either. When you don’t have many followers, probably less to worry about but at nearly 700k subscribers… 😮
I have never seen a You Tube provider that I can recall show much where they are at the moment. Privacy is most important to most people. Also where they live, or I should say a house or apartment or address.
@@JonSaguaro Bingo. Years ago, I entertained the notion of doing You Tube (The wife and I do a lot of road trips). That very fact plus considering how much time goes into editing changed my mind. No privacy once you open your life to You Tube!
@@iworkout6912 I watch TheStradman channel and he has over 4 million subs and he films from his house most of the time where he has like 15 exotic vehicles that he drives and shows off on the channel. Yes, once and awhile people come by his house or see him driving around. Adam has gotten more conservative over the years due to he is older and wiser plus more subs as you mentioned.
With traveling so much have you ever thought about a few more hotel or car rental reviews? Would be cool to see. We like to travel as much as we can. Always cool to see others thoughts, helps us plan. On another note, we have Tim Hortons here in the midwest area of Ohio and they are one my favorites as well.
I was unaware that VoIP (voice over Internet) calls were not allowed on flights. But I wouldn't have even thought of doing that until they mentioned it
Hey Adam, I really enjoyed this video. I have not flown in decades mostly because of the idiots on board. Sheesh. Your flight sounded sane and quiet. lol. Great job! All of your videos are fun. Thanks!
The red indoor monorail is awesome! (6:49) (8:58) Mono or dual, that was the perfect opportunity for the ol' tagline! Fail. :) Hey, there's a magazine with Walt on the cover (9:25).
Thanks for Detroit visit. Mid- Sept my 1st visit into Detroit City (Downtown + MidTown areas) thanks Adam + Scott on Tape for points of interest = food venue(s)
Love the channel. Don't know if you have done this before but an in-depth history and tour of Celebration would be awesome...including the high school football stadium!
NO it is NOT "frowned upon" to return a rental low on gas. They WANT you to return it that way so they can charge you the super high "refueling fee" on top of the gallon charge.
Tip at Tim Horton's, if you order one cream and one sugar, that's called a Regular ie medium regular or small regular. If you order 2 cream and 2 sugar, that's a double double.
I'd love to see a video on Forgotten Angels in Florida. David and Cindy are doing amazing things for kids that have aged out of foster care. They do 2 free campouts a year to say thanks.
I enjoy these travel videos, it reminds me when I used to fly alot..A couple of times I had to grab my shoes and run to catch my flight. . LoL.. There's nothing like hearing your name being called over the intercom..
You'll see lots of Delta planes because Detroit was a Northwest Airlines hub before merging with Delta. Delta retained it and Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) as hubs.
This is going to be exciting lol watching Adam aboard a plane lol going to Detroit to Orlando using Delta airlines to get him there. Thanks for sharing this Adam educational lol.😂

Am I the only one who hears "Cincinnati" and immediately thinks of WKRP? :D
I get the theme song stuck in my head when Cincinnati is mentioned

@@TimfromMKE Exactly. LOL
