- Rope chains are one of the most popular chains in the world. We sell a lot of them at all different sizes. I wanted to make a review showcasing the thicker style rope chains for everyday wear. 5-6mm the sweet spot for me in the rope chain. Stands out but not to much.
I have the 24" rope 6mm. Honestly, I'd say 5mm is the max I go for an everyday chain. I wear my 22" cuban 5 mm from Jacoje everyday.
I got the 4.5mm diamond cut in 22 silver. My next piece i want is to be a gold piece. What you think looks better a 14k diamond cut rope or the cuban?
I agree bro. However it's preferences. I wear the 5 mm rope 22inch and pair with 3 mm Franco 20inch. Powerful setup

I have a 22 inch 5mm 22k rope and it’s a classy look. It’s probably closer to 4.5 and appears so elegant. The color is so much nicer than 14k it’s not even close. Smaller chains at higher purity is the way to go. Big long chains are just way too gaudy and loud in my opinion. I’d rather wear something smaller that’s almost pure gold. I’m not trying to wear a chain that’s half gold half zinc, copper, nickel and silver.
Another great fun video. I think the 6, 61/2, or 7 even would look great for everyday wear for an average size to a big man. The last rope chain that I ever bought back in the 80s is about 6mm. The seller said it will look great on you because you are a husky man. He was right I like to this day but sadly I ganged weight and can no longer wear it. I think all of these chains would look good for now and then wear. But for everyday stick with the 6 to 7 mm. Thanks for sharing the video. I always look forward to them. Stay well & safe everyone. I wear a 4.5, 5.5, and 7mm stack everyday.. unless ur talkin 10mm+, I’ve never thought there was such thing as too big. There is such thing as too long tho
Im 160 pounds and 6 foot tall. Very little dude and I wear an 8 everyday. No one says anytbing. Think its all in yout style. But 6 was too small for my taste

My 6mm rope is perfect for daily wear. Stands out but nothing massive. Although I mostly wear my 9mm Miami Cuban

6.5 is minimum for me but I really want an 18kt 8mm as a statement piece.

Great video, Braden! Just love my new Jacoje 5mm 22 inch 18k rope! It really does feel like the perfect combination of size, purity, weight and length. It has a bit of a richer gold color and some wonderful heft. The quality/solder points of the clasp, end caps, jump ring, etc. is also fantastic on these. I wear a 6mm 28inch solid 14k rope everyday. I wear it to work and everything in between. It only comes off for the gym and sleep otherwise its always on and i have a big cross pendant on it

I noticed on the jacoje website that it says the rope chains can differ about .5mm in thickness due to the diamond cut. Is that typical? I mean does that apply to all diamond cut rope chains? I have never seen that being talked about by your typical jeweler but I trust what you say. Was this common knowledge I just was ignorant to until now? I also noticed it didn’t say that about the width on other diamond cut chains such as the Franco’s. Any info is greatly appreciated from anyone who may know.

8mm is way too big to wear daily. i have the 6.5mm and these videos dont do justice on how thick these chains are. i had a 5mm and went to 6.5mm… the difference is insane in person

@@vlat18 because when you get a diamond cut its gonna shave off around .5mm. So if you order a diamond cut 4mm chain its more than likely going to be around 3.5 - 3.7mm. If you go 5.5 or 6mm you're still gonna get closer to 5 or 5.5mm. Im not a fan of huge chains but I don't like tiny dainty ones either and I don't wear pendants. I ordered a 4mm and it came out to around 3.6mm and it just looked kinda silly around my neck all thin

@@seankiesling2054 Fire. love my 14k YG 5mm Franco. the diamond cuts make it shine and it stands out (on my chest) because it’s so thick in diameter compared to my 18k 6mm miami cuban. i’ve been wanting to pair it with a 20” “round link” chain like a rope or a heavy link. 100% recommend the 5mm Franco from Jacoje 👍👌

For me personally, I think I would go no thicker than maybe 6MM. A 7MM would probably be pushing it for me. Love rope chains, Franco chains, Heavy Links, Jacoje Links. Jacoje has awesome chains. ❤ Also, that spam bot is on the prowl again. It shouldn’t bother. No one is gonna fall for it.
I have a very nice 5Mm 14K 24 inch from Olive and chain. Wish I knew about Jacoje before my purchase but it was around the same price. 5Mm 20-26 inch is perfect IMO

Just my opinion, less is more. I wear a 2mm rope and a 3mm flat curb every day. I think multiple small chains look better than one huge chain..... Unless you wanna look like a rapper 🤷♂️

I layer my 2mm 18" rope chain with a pendant with the 3mm 20" flat curb underneath. I'm about to add a 3mm byzantine to stack on the flat curb. Idk how silver and gold together would look, I've never done it. I'd say if you put it on and it looks fresh, go with it bro 😎
