- In this video we introduce a new challenge, to hit Master Duel's (at the time) highest rank in the lowest amount of time! Joshua Schmidt, FarfaYGO, PakTCG and myself try out our skills and adapt a little personal strategy to see who can hit the top of the leaderboard the quickest.
This is from the initial bout of bans to Tearlament, before the introduction of the Master Rank. It was still a project and a concept that I thought was too fun to pass up on!

Hey guys! This is a project I did awhile back -- I got some help to put it into a couple episode series I'll be releasing every week. I know there's the Master Rank now; but the concept was a lot of fun and the creators involved had too much personality to let it go!

Watching Gage treat this like better and more hype Prog, Joshua strategize an early and late game build (ep 1 btw), Pak going all in on Swordsoul from day one (shocking, I know), and then Farfa plotting like a fly with his pendulum hands was absolute bliss, thank each and every one of you

Gosh, I love this new Nyhmnim series format! I sure can't wait for episode 2 to be released in 18 months..
Joshua's hatred of mathmech preventing him from taking advantage of the cyberse staples that the Salad deck brings.
Finally some more representation of what’s possible with free to play, mainly EVERYTHING. You can have the best deck with free to play (although it’s harder in this series because they can’t just do dailies, log off and return for more dailies tomorrow)

This is an S-tier idea for a yugioh series, up there with magical hats and progression series
idk how this ended (because I see chat was live during recording), but pak building the only real deck was hilarious.

Very cool challenge. I think you have the right idea with Numeron. Pak and Joshua have the more consistent decks, but I think you have the edge by just having so much faster games so that even if you lose more than them overall, you'll end up having the edge.

really fun concept! i think salad is objectively the cheapest and strongest deck to start, but pak definitely has the strongest deck day 1 with swordsoul, he can basically take that to diamond 1 already as long as he keeps adding staples.

I'm really interested to see how this goes! Both Josh and Pak seem to have decks that can get them pretty far.
Back when MD launched, I had the same 2 deck idea. Made a cheap Invoked Dogmatica deck with potential Shaddoll upgrades and began working on my Sky Striker deck for Gold+.

I like how they all took their own approach. Gage thinks is progression series and went all in on packs. It was smart to craft and open packs with URs in them. 👍🏾

people can take the piss out of dkayed all they want but Master Duel Meta is the single best resource the master duel community has, everything from the articles, new players guides and deck profiles it nice to have everything in one place.
Oh man, Diamond 1 speedrunning. And once they catch up with more recent updates, Master 1 speedrunning.
I'd probably go with Adventure Tenyi as my first deck and pivot into the sword soul/ yang zing pack. Since you can run Tenyi at all low rarity, and sink your dust into 4 cards for the adventure package.

For the early stages, up until Gold, I think the best choices are Dinomist with a small Cydra engine or pure Tri-Brigade.

My strat would be too open the mellfey pack for the rescue rabbit. World chalice glad Beast can be made with solo mode rewards, plus the rabbit, heraklinos and appaloosa. And can make a 7 negate board ez.

I'm most surprised by farfa cause he's normally good with strategizing, but gage should take this ex with junk numeron. His turns will always be 2-3 turns, were as everyone else is gonna have to grind with control decks.

These fools have no idea about the ftp start. It’s always build Crusadia off rip 1 Equimax 1 Magius and destroy solos in seconds. Then farm ladder until gold. Having over 15k gems to build whatever tf you want.
