Lots of hard work, and a lot more to do, but it is a honorabel work, for the fammily. I do hope everybody is happy and pleased with you. Good luck, keep up.
You have done a top-notch job on that house. It's something you and your family with be proud of for years and years to come because it is beautiful. Good job!
I did crawl space 2x12 16 oc with t&g 3/4 plywood. sub floor Treated seal plate foundation bolts every 4 ft treated 2x12 rim joist There are 3 2x12 rim joist around the foundation with 3 down the center 30 wide 42 long. also before the seal plate I used stainless steel flashing as a termite guard. We used t&g 6x12 random length's logs dove tailed. When we got finished , and it took a year about 75,000 is what we had it the home. 2.3 acres we paid 19,000 for.I don't want to live in anything other than a log home, oh!, and there at least 2,000 bolts in the thing cause I used them all. I got a pass load nail gun . If it needed a 16 d coated sinker it got it. I did the electrical 200 amp panel 40 circuit with a 200 amp main so the 1 inside the house was a sub panel. I watched your video and I wish I was young enough to do it again. You have done a beautiful job. People who have done this will appreciate this video. I know I have. Dean from western NC.

@@fluke1172 Thanks Dean, it sounds like your house is built very well!
It was a lot of hard work for you guys But look at the reward. Beautiful home.
Thanks, I appreciate it!
WE also have 8 ft porches all the way across front and back . Trust me, if you do that you want regret it.
We live in a log home that we built in 2013.
@fluke1172 That's awesome, there's just something about living in a home you built.
