Spending $6k/month on Evony is a sure sign that you need to get professional help! I don’t care how much money you have…what you lack is any kind of sense and probably life! Imagine how many people would kill for a few hundred dollars to keep their house or car or electricity from being cut off or insurance cancelled or food to feed their family! Give it to someone who would really appreciate it and make a difference in their lives! Evony despises us! Stop contributing to the problem or stop complaining about it! I refuse to give them a dime of my hard earned money. Before K40 came out I was spending and was by far the top player on my server but I had reached K35 and was going to really cut back. They moved the goal line and I felt like it was the same as changing the price of my house and land after I had paid it off. So I barely spent anything for a while but since the game keeps getting worse I have stopped spending at all. And I still ended up getting into the junior All Stars. But it sucked more than any other time and I didn’t waste any heals or anything. I wouldn’t have even gone but I wanted to help my team. I’m sticking around to see if by some miracle it gets better but I’m not holding my breath. All the idiots that are still spending are preventing them from paying for their bad behavior and prolonging the suffering of everyone all because they’re afraid of someone else getting ahead of them. 🤦♂️ 🤷🏽♂️ 🤪🙈
So very true - no matter how much money one has, to waste so much much money for a silly pixel game, shows a serious ignorance about what's going on in the world.
In the last 3 days, I saw reports of a 100M rally 1-tap a 14B player. Then I saw report of a 75M rally 1-tap a 20B player. I've watched Battlefield events with a single 50B player on C4, who shall go unnamed, use absolutely ZERO skill as he stumbled around the map awkwardly but just Godzilla stomp on a team of 3-10B players. It's not a game, it's a dick-swinging contest. And until TG starts pumping the brakes on the ever-accelerating arms race, this game will be dead but for a few players by Christmas. Phillip doesn't even care anymore because being the biggest fish in a tiny pond isn't fun. If you're buying an existing elite keep and paying more than $1k, you're spending too much on a game with no future.

Thank you so much for the post. I am one of those people who is at the point of quitting. I must say it takes a lot out of me to play the game. What you have taught me in your videos I've been very helpful and actually gave me a bit of a chance to get somewhere. Unfortunately I also got suckered into the game. But the KE event and time difference in the different countries. With the big players that kill the beginner and small player finally me go to me. Today I actually did a study that is after I was taken the the cleaners once more by the bullied big shots. We are at the very very bottom of severs. I doubt that will ever get anywhere because we don't stand a chance against bigger servers. As you say some people really have the money to spend and others those who just come in not understanding it is a war game with no means of production are crunched so fast that restoring is almost impossible let alone getting to grow. I also do not know of any other game that is as time consuming in preparing before one can actually start playing.
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for teaching everyone how to play and do key things in the game. It was truly helpful. However I am not sure if this game is good for my health and social life. Due to the fact that it is too time consuming and realising that my house is no longer in order due to the efforts I've put into the game to grow only be crunched time and time again. The bottom servers simply have no chance due to game killings, bugs, bots, bullies and no exiting service.
This is why war and order is a better game. Nothing is behind a pay wall that makes it impossible to get. You can still coin and move fast, and of you don't you are looking at a few years to catch up with people that do coin. Evony is just an impossible situation of the biggest coiners dominate too much. Also the battles take a minimum of 15 seconds to process during that time anyone from your alliance can reinforce you. So in an alliance like mine we have 2 heavy coiners and if the most powerful player in the realm attacks he has to consider the cost of all the other people in the alliance reinforcing. It makes it so one or two coiners in an alliance can do a lot of protection against big hits, as opposed to in Evony where the battle is processed instantly.
Just use your money on your life, don’t waste it on a digital game that doesn’t appreciate it!

I am an old player on server 53 that you mentioned, in SvS we basically have about a dozen players who play it, then other then bubble drops, no one else bothers. Another event for coiners in reality.
two players that Ora called "best in the game" have quit in the last two months, both before the alt purge, so it's not just the alt purge.

I haven't spent in 8 months, K40 truly truly truly ruined every aspect of this game. And now that you can 10 Star civ + the attacking gear, it's disgusting. Ya this game at K35 was pay to win, now I agree it's pay to play. At a remotely competitive level at least. I have truly, considered filling a huge charge back, because goods weren't delivered. I see why you say K40 was needed and maybe if they never introduced civ gear. But the civ and all the buffs you get I mean 3k ground. When Sir Philp was first in all stars his 1k all ground was INSANE at that time. Now 2k+ is pretty much every big cake I keep hits with. This game I loved and now I absolutely loath.
I only get a 5 dollar event pack now and again. Can't get the premium dragons, can't open wonder. Was so happy when they brought another pasture dragon. I almost quit when I saw that you had to coin to get it. I can understand them not wanting to play anymore.
yep used to buy $240/month on stamina packs just for my alts alone and they took all the rss i gained in a month from that. now not only am I not buying any more packs for my alts, but I'm not doing my usual level 4 cakes every event either. Weird how they punished their most active players who coined and grind more severely than pink gemmers who got to keep all their super buffs/gears/keeps/historic cities, and maxed out generals.

Ive been out of the game for 5 months now. Went kamikaze into people i didn't like. Anyone contemplating quitting, its not something I've regretted for a second. I've reclaimed my life, have so much more free time, the extra money is good too.

That's what I have commented in one of the last videos. Ghengis is still promoting the game, even if he complaines about a lot of aspects of the game. Similar to bad PR is good PR.

evony has found themselves in the enviable position of still making tons of money despite everything thats going on. Nothing has changed on my server, people are still spending thousands. I doubt more than a handful of people there participate in any of the larger communities. And no offense to any youtubers, but this company is making hundreds of millions with barely any online presence and barely anyone covering it, which is endemic on the predatory nature of mobile gaming in general. Like, is it Evony's fault that their barrier to entry is tens of thousands of dollars, or is it the fact that there's tens of thousands of people paying that.
Hi Ghengis, I was a 5.4Bn player on server 215 - Player name Ernst. The game the last year just deteriorated to a point of not worth it playing anymore, I quit a month ago by dismissing all my troops and Generals, abandoning all my gold and purple subs (Japan and Russia), unlinking my account and deleting the account, I really enjoyed the game till about a couple months ago. Since then the game was not interesting or enjoyable anymore with just one shit event after another, To be honest, I'm glad to have my life back, I considered starting a new game from scratch on a new server, but after I heard they cracked down on alts it was the final blow against it as I had 22 family members.
I left two weeks ago .. 3 years of playing .. the glitches , the Terrible customer service , I just had enough, I loath the evony developers, I only stayed so long due to friendships I had made .
When I started evony about a year ago I could remember we could get civ gear fragment from b16 and b17 I was really excited because I felt by grinding I could also level up with people that spend tho it would take time. But that's stopped before we had our first svs. Free to play players like myself don't stand a chance in this game anymore. Money is power in this game
Yes Genghis, how about during and anniversary they reward the players that supported them for that entire year. Instead of, hey we are so thankful for your support here’s a dragon you can purchase.
I can't get Caesar even to purchase him even with 1000 envelopes, you feel Evony might make players happy with a purchasable dragon? I assume you have all three dragons in the pasture. Evony is about suppression, not about making players happy. Sorry.
Our server had our top PvP player (also one of the top coiners) get zeroed when the game froze one of his marches during SVS for an entire hour and the other server just smashed him repeatedly. Customer service not doing anything meaningful for him despite clear evidence that it was a glitch in the game. The effect of him being taken out of the game spreads across the entire server - all the rallies he would lead and competitions he would place well in, benefitting both his alliance and the server as a whole. We are talking about a coining strike as a server until he is made whole, and many are talking about leaving the game as well. If these were physical goods and not virtual ones, someone would be compensating him... an insurance company, credit card company, etc... if Top Games refused to do so. It's clear-cut negligence and maybe even fraud for them to handle this as they have been. Makes no business sense at all either, as it makes everyone on the server who spends hesitate to risk their real life $$, if they're not out-and-out withholding it in protest. Costs TG zero to return virtual assets and only builds goodwill and loyalty with the players. I don't understand how they can't see that - must be some pretty terrible people at the top of the company to pass an attitude like that down to the customer service team. Curious if any readers here have any experience with coining strikes on this game or any others, and whether they had any effect.

That list of old servers doesn't necessarily mean those players quit the game. Most likely, those players learned how to play, quit the server and started new on a different server. I've had to do many times just because I felt I was bullied. I will always say, this game is a game of suppression. The game is specifically designed to suppress other players. First to rise, first to suppress others. They learned how to be efficient and decided to start new. If you want proof of population growth, look to how often are there new servers. In the past there's been an average of 3 to 4 servers per week. Server mergers are an indication of lost active player population. In that past it was more often then recent times. Let's remember developers call in which the representative ask if something should be done against T1 trap? That is proof of wanting to suppress players. In other words, players can defend themselves cheaply? No, no, no, can't have that. Let's destroy them. Thus as in your own video, the rise of higher rally capacity, the change in alliance shop making 3 day bubble less accessible (purchase limits), allowing two marches to land at a tile (first to gather other to attack, especially relics) barbarians barbarian challenge, etc. I don't think there is a way to fix this game for those who "want to make it fair". Yet.....multiple accounts is not fair to players like me who don't have the physical ability (phone doesn't permit, no computer) nor have the time to play multiple accounts. The only suggestion I can make, is to create a new game. Will it feel the same? I've tried quitting, tried other similar game, stop talking to others, play alone in my own alliance. It's not about pvp (I never participated in pvp or very rare). When I say "it's not about the graphics" I mean visual appearance. Then what is the lure? For me, it's the characters or building style. Because of my Italian background and small interest in history, I like the idea of relating myself to Roman soldiers and its Empire. I like the simple function to attack monsters, the competition of who can attack the most, the leader board of who is the most powerful, of course it can be nice to meet other nice players and battlefield does allow for a nice environment for pvp.

You wouldn’t leave a high dollar account to go to a new server and then have to go spend as much to get back to where you’re even remotely competitive. Sure you can build better, but you’ll still spend a ton. You’re better off to dump that money in the account you already have. Actually, you’re better off leaving the game for good and doing better stuff with your life.
The problem is with these whale accounts who are willing to spend 6000 dollars on a damn Cake event. The Top Games owners simply have found a business model that they can milk forever. They don't care about the balance of power inside the game. I am indeed scared that the developers will come up with some new shit upgrade to keep the whales with K40 and at least 5-6 fully dressed generals to continue coining more.
Evony take for granded that people have become addicted with the game so much that they will blindly hand over the money they worked hard for. They don't realise that the "game" they created is actually not necessary to humanity and nobody will tolerate such disrespect for too long.
I don’t think there will be K45 update anytime soon for at least 2 years. T16 as you mentioned in a video why not. I think alts and specially bots become very popular ( which it use to belong to elite players) and now people have farm alliances. I think they wanted also to slow down the pink gamers as well to get back where they were. They had to do something to prevent that. I lost myself billions and billions but no one to complain but myself. We all know that alts and bots are against the TOS but considering the risk, benefit it definitely worth having them. Allowing Alts or bots in game is another think which personally I think they should to reduce the gap.

Sold my 7B K40 account a little over a month ago. Game Devs have no idea how to run a MMO. The game is centered around how much money you can spend and not around actual enjoyable gameplay. It’s a dogshit game with the same boring pvp battles and zero grind factor. There isn’t a single game out there worth the amount of money that evony requires to be competitive.
They hit my alts that i haven’t cleared in 6 or more months. Took all the gems and all my resources.
The more people to quit makes the game even more boring. Need to do tons of server merges to make servers active and fun again
There's an option to switch accounts, why have that option if having alts is not allowed?
Evony is changing to a New Rule it will not be accepted for everybody and for does who all ready have a form to grow.
But is the price they expect to pay.
Mean time lest take a walk and see how will be the future on Evony.
I'm actually in the process of looking into suing top games for theft and of course other wrongdoings in the game. I've never purchased any packs nor resources yet they took all of my stuff that I paid for

Lol... I submitted a ticket since there is no ranking board for showing the actual rankings of All-stars .... They just send a letter stating you didn't make it... But I don't see a leader board even telling me where I actually ranked????

With K45 update, many people on our servers consider quitting.
K40 is already an unattainable level for most players, not to mention K45.
The gap is even getting bigger.
The sunk cost is too high now. A 10b player can be zeroed. Once zeroed, money on troops may be gone.
Just imagine, if I have an emergent job on weekend suddenly, I still must log in Evony and bubble.
Or if I plan a long trip, I still must keep the game in mind and finds a time to bubble.
That's insane.
No games should be as important as taking care of my pets.

I feel K45 update is more stressful than fun.
Many people are on the brink of quitting, I think, just because of sunk cost.

I think some if not most of those people that left older servers, actually moved to new servers or are looking for a more suitable server for them. I have been visiting those new servers in the last 2 weeks, just to see if I can maybe start over, and I have seen many other experienced players there as well, there are definitely new players, but there are a handful of experienced players, some from 2 digit servers. Some players said they got bored from their old server, some are leaving because their server got too toxic and there were definitely some that didn't really leave their servers, just going around new servers to brag about their K38 and K40 keeps, lol! However, there are definitely players that starts over in newer servers, grow their account as fast as they can, to be able to take advantage of the free blue, purple and gold sub cities, to be the first king/queen and shape the server the way they want, to dominate, since they were unable to do so in their old servers. Those are the people that will keep feeding Evony $$$. 💸💸💸💸As for me, I leave whenever the 1st king/queen takes the throne and rules are sent out, because I just feel that it will become toxic soon and I don't want to waste time with them anymore.

Im on a new-ish server, less than a year old, and I would say easily 1/3 of the top players came from older servers.
The R5s and lots of R4s of the top alliances are mostly all from older servers.
They just got tired of being second class citizens and bullied on their old servers, left even though they had wings, wonder 2, all that.
The only control freak wanna-be dictator R5 we have is new to the game 😂
The R5s from old servers are chill and dont want no drama, which is great.

There were a couple of players that were "experienced", or so they said and ruled the server initially, until a few players started to rebel, because they also wanted to have the throne, but those idiots refuse to share the throne the peaceful way, saying things like, if you think you can take and defend it from them "the rulers" go for it, since that's how it should be, coz it's a "war game". Eventually, there was mutiny on the 1st king's alliance, he left the server. His bitch though, stayed, still trying to rule the server, she has a handful of simps, lol! They kept trying to defend her, they believe in her "knowledge" about the game (yeah right) knowledge that happened to be available all over the internet, she went low key, though, and still unable to get wonder 1. 🤣 Everytime she tries, she gets more negative points and still unable to get top 5. 🤣 Yet, she still acts and talks all high and mighty when in wc, when she hasn't really proven anything. I would say about half the people in our arch got their wings with more negative than positive. Just greedy and selfish, they want them so bad they don't care what it takes.
These are the same people that never help defend the throne from enemy server, ir ever score positive points.

I left when I received warning, and in svs my bubble failed.. 1 year grinding source of life gone.. 😂 I feel great! Not playing anymore.. I don't even know if my keep burning right now or not 😂
No balance between coiners and noncoiners
I normally spend about 300 a week on evony. Haven't spent a dime in the last 4 weeks. This game sucks more and more with every new event, update, etc... I wish I could remain competitive, at this point, I'm just playing to keep up with my friends. Evony is money hungry, I don't ever see this game getting any better.
I love just watching these videos on evony.. to see how this game has turned to no fun
And a lot of people don't like that the other 2 allstar groups does not have the same rewards considering the score requirements needed keep climbing
721 is on a very rapid decline. We were always a lower coining server. Interaction in world chat is all but gone, alliance activity is very slow except for ymir. We had only lost two SvS ever until this past weekend and we collectively decided to yolo and lose. You get to a point where there's no more grinding and that kind of kills the game. Not to mention the last two events have been REALLY bad.
There’s lot of people quitting on our server too due to BoB/lags/gap between coiners, mid coiners and f2p.
FYI: when company is payed via stores like Apple or Google… the company knows nothing about payment method/information all they know is that account payed a certain amount of money
The alt accounts should be prohibited, point. This is just a race to the bottom. As soon as one has a dozen alt accounts suddenly everyone else needs to get a dozen alt accounts or go down. This just leads to more player burnout. Burnout is why people are quitting the game. It is difficult to play with just one account if you want to cover all major events. I own one alt account but it's more of a pvp device, and I have spent only 5 dollars on it during a whole year.
Ya, I totally agree. We got moved from c5 to c4. We can compete with those guys. My server is barely a year old. There are a few spenders here and I've definitely spent my share. I'm still playing but I think I'm done doing any real spending

I have had items stolen from me. I have been playing for 6 years and another 6.5 years on Age 1. I spend modesty but taking my inventory to pay for an item and not getting it, and talking to the wall customer support. Constant glitches and lag and now stealing items... Evony is circling the drain!
The bullying and the non existent Customer Support is to blame. Players just use coins and Alliances and world chat to suppress others. To proove all this youd have to screen shot every second of the game experience which is lag glitch and endless arguments about the server rules. The game makes you feel like a loser if you stay or quit!
Genghis, are there still developer calls? If there are, any chance you can convince them that improving the servers will increase amount of coiners? There's a lot of other stuff that we could talk about, and if put in the right way while presenting it to the developers, they might actually do it. You just have to convince them that it will make them more money. Otherwise, they'll never listen to you
They have their own plan. I’ve talked to them before. Tried to tell them ways to monetize and things to demonetize which are making people angry. They don’t listen. They have their plan.

Considering the amount of money players spend, the number of accounts that are valued over 50k, and the fact Customer Service is crap and Evony pulls stunts on big coiner accounts..it's only a matter of time before they're slapped with a class action lawsuit. That's when the real change will happen.
They are in an oversea country that can't be legally charged. They will never get sued.
But can't there be any other legal action taken against them?
You go after the app stores that highlight this as a trusted app. They either settle out or go after evony themselves.

I used to spend about $1000 a month and was able to keep up pretty good even tho I didn’t join many rallies. It changed.. I used a bot and still spent $1000 a month and was falling way behind. Now I don’t spend anymore money

im still around on the game but its overwhelming with tabs and events that serve no other purpose but to make u buy packages. i used to regularly spend $5 for packs. but the way the game is headed, i stopped entirely. havent bought a single pack this year. theres really no point.
I started 460 days ago and unlocked all 4 all star dragons and im only vip 16. Only because i wanted 2 sets of civ gear, otherwise I’d be vip 14-15

It's better to just quit the game than wasting your time and money on this. The amount that people spend in this can be used to enjoy life outside of the game but some crazy people still go all out with there credit cards and ruin the game.

Evony taking gems from alts that paid for them is the same as doing a chargeback. Yet they hit people hard for doing that. Should we send evony a bill for 90k like they did some players 😂

I’ve never participated in SVS our alliance never does because it’s small. Only thing I participate in is BOG & BOC and attack monsters. I am a small corner for 4.99 and 999 packs only win double coupons. I am level 35 have not been able to open the winder but I guess that’s where I’m stuck so I don’t have lots of money to spend on a game, be nice if you have any would do something we could’ve used to start server merge real bad. We got a Lotta dead alliances and dead castles just laying all over the place people get hit and just can’t replace them. Oh well I’ll see how much longer I’m in here but I get hit one more time and lose all my stuff I’m done

The game is unfair....do want I did....cause so much hell on the server all the coiners realize it will only be them left. It worked. Server peace is now a thing. Kinda crazy what some people will do just to attack monsters, barb and gather lol. Pvp/Svs is the last thing on my mind though I play when I save up enough sol once in a while. Our server is dope now but at the cost of so many good players and great people. They almost realized the truth too late. Too bad the didn't listen before. We could have had them still with us now that we win almost ever svs....could have been even more dominate though. I coined but stopped at like $700 USD when I caught evony sneaking items away from me in real small amounts....Lesson learned

I agree it is pay to win. I love monster hunts, and it's where my focus is. I don't do Battlefield events or SvS. I will never be financially capable of gaining red wings. 😢 But happy smashing monsters 😊
I agree. PvP is pointless in this game. It's for people who spend a lot of money. And they have made the game have wide gaps in power so it's no longer competitive. I like how they had Ymir's for a year so that people could make it to K35 without much coining. Too bad they took those Ymir's away, every other week.
Yes. I had the same thoughts about Yimir event. It's was great to grow from monster hunting. Fvcking Pan event is a way to slow down growing. The method was boss hunting = mounted troops. Pan comes along and killed that. Overnight my entire growth plan time double because I could not kill Yimir every week. Free players had a good grind plan for growing. Evony put in Pan as a growth killer....try to force players to buy there rss packs. I suspect it's the same with zeroing rss from alts. Players found a free method to grow and Evony said no way..kill bots/alts.

Same reason you don't see people ascending premium event generals as much.
Maybe 1 or 2 people per server, but for most average players it's just not worth it.... My awakened Trajan or Roland are better than a 2 or 3 star Elise or Ludwig...
Folks just aren't interested in spending thousands of dollars for that slight edge they get on other average players, since they can't even compete with serious coiners anymore.
